As Publisher for Image Comics, Eric Stephenson has helped foster the creator-owned projects of numerous bestselling writers and artists, including Robert Kirkman, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, Jonathan Hickman, Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie, Kelly Sue DeConnick, and Brandon Graham, as well as a well-known pair of award magnets whose names rhyme with Frian and Biona. He is also the Eisner-nominated writer and co-creator of NOWHERE MEN and THEY'RE NOT LIKE US.
Issue #3 reminds me of Fight Club on telepathy. Syd starts to really enjoy pondering fists. From learning to control your abilities and anger to letting her rage fly when confronted with a pedophile, Syd starts to understand just what it means to be apart of The Voice's group. I love the use of color and the artwork is outstanding. Again as this series goes on, I am becoming more and more attached to Syd and Blurgirl. Eric Stephenson does amazing work and although his stories would be no where without talented artists and colorists alike, he stands out in a crowd with his way for expressing emotions and getting the reader sucked in from the very first page.
Gradually getting more interesting. The song lyric quote at the end of each episode is a highlight, particularly since they are so far all from musicians / songs I quite like.
