I’m really not a football fan and I still have no idea how this old book from the 70’s that only exists on this site because it looks like someone wanted to sell it, came into my possession.
I was surprised at how interested it kept me considering I don’t watch football and the Cleveland Browns have only been a joke my whole life. I did find it hard to visualize a lot of the football scene descriptions (did I mention I don’t care for football?) but enjoyed learning about this person and his success with the team
The epilogue.. very glad Stan Isaacs waited till the end to include all of Jim Brown’s assault charges cuz that would’ve soured the previous 147 pages for me. That was a shame but hey it’s an honest biography
Idk how to recommend it to football fans cuz I don’t know how else you can even find a copy of this lol
