When Lashko looked through Egram's mother, clearly with no intention of averting his gaze, she moved to the side a little to give Lashko a better view of her daughter while keeping her eye on the boy. She kept her eye on the boy because she was pleased the boy had his eye on her girl. Egram's mother was pleased at this moment because the boy was young.
