This is such a wonderful and inspirational picture book, by Joyce Meyer! It shares all the different ways in which children can pray and can be a reminder to adults that they can pray any time and anywhere.

A. This book is colorful and has fun, animal-centered illustrations that help carry the text along through the story. It is also about learning how to pray, which makes it a religious book.
B. Very bright and contrasting colors are used throughout the book. This makes it highly captivating to children. Additionally, the use of animals as the characters makes it much more enticing and relatable to children.
C. I would use this in a Christian setting, to teach a concept. I would use it as a read-aloud to a small group of children, or one-on-one for children to practice reading out loud and discussing the book.
D. REMEMBER question: "Do you have to be kneeling to pray?" No, you don't.

Great story for children and a message that bares reminding with adults. I know I spent most of my childhood thinking there was a special way you had to pray or a special way to worship. Its important that everyone realize that God simply wants to hear from us. He wants us to come to Him, as we would our parents or our children would come to us.

I love this book and how it makes something important like prayer something anyone can do anywhere in any way. I like the lesson that there are no rules for prayer. I could add a correction though that praying in public in front of people is maybe not advisable, but praying anywhere, in general, is indeed a doable task.

This is a cute little book written by a prominent tv preacher. A series of animals in a zoo teach that prayer needn't be formal. Anyone can communicate with God wherever they are as long as it comes from the heart.

This is a great book to teach young children how to pray. It is a clear easy presentation that takes the mystery out of the "Proper" way to pray. I work with preschool children at church and will read this to them as well as my grandchildren.

Very cute. Joyce Meyer is very well known in her non-fiction titles for really helping people get into the meat of true prayer. Now she has this adorable children's book to teach those youngest to your heart the true meaning and how anyone can pray if only they try. There are fun characters with amusing names and the illustrations are grand. Any kiddo in your family will love the antics of Harley and Hayley as they learn just how reachable God can really be.

Haley and Harley the hippos hesitate in praying to God because they are afraid they will do it wrong. But they learn from the other animals at the zoo that there are many ways to pray and no wrong way as long as it comes from their heart.

This is a really cute story for kids, letting them know (via adorably illustrated animals) that there is no "right" or "wrong" way to pray. It may end up going to the local book drive for children, but even as an (@ the time I read this) 29 year old; I found it fun.

Great book for children
I'm glad to have purchased this book for my children. The illustrations are beautiful. Most importantly, it gives my children a clear understanding of what prayer is and how and or where prayer can be done.
