Reclaiming the Sufficiency of Scripture

Rate this book
Christians share a commitment to the inerrancy of Scripture, but have we slipped on our commitment and understanding of sufficiency? We believe the Bible is true, but do we believe it is enough for every matter of faith and practice? Rob Rienow invites us to reexamine this vital doctrine and understand the foundation it sets for advancing the Gospel at church and at home. This book encourages the reader to apply God's Word to every area of ministry.

A helpful beginning book on the topic. Nothing too deep; it’s quite a short book. But each chapter makes you think a bit more about it.

Overall, some great paragraphs and points, and I’d recommend it to anyone who doesn’t understand the idea of the sufficiency of Scripture or thinks it unimportant. That being said, I’m sure other books are a tad more robust.

This is a very small book - almost more like a pamphlet, but covers a lot of ground and hits some important topics. I particularly appreciated Rob's explanation of what real legalism is. Overall this book is sort of a wake up call, that as Christians we really really need to be looking to the scriptures to guide us in all we do!
