Read this book finally after attending one of the author’s seminars years back. I really enjoyed the thoroughness of this book, and that it’s the only health/nutrition book I’ve read where there’s a focus beyond a specific diet or quick fix. Because it’s not a quick fix when it comes to improving your health - it’s a lifestyle change that occurs one step at a time, one small habit at a time. Some of the information felt super repetitive, but, overall, I was very pleased with the holistic approach to health and wellness that Chris Johnson lays out in a super digestible way and that he dares to touch on what most people aren’t taught.

i wonder if the author took some of the same nutritional courses that i'm currently taking. his ideas are much in line with the teachings of the nutritional therapy association. overall, i agreed with his recommendations regarding rest, nutrition, and movement. it's a quick and easy read with lots of action plans.

Great read!

Really appreciated not only the choice of subjects but also how he spent intentional time and detail into each area and the importance of how that area impacted overall health and wellness. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about wellness.
