Prince John's biggest fear? Becoming King, and everything to do with it, from the sheltered life, to someday having to get married. Celia, a lady knight, minus the 'Lady' if she can help it, is not looking forward to coming of age and attending the High Ball which she thinks is nothing more than a market for single girls. The two have hated each other since childhood, but when the stress gets to John and he does something drastic, Celia's the only one who can help.
It only got 2 stars because of the nostalgia of reading it when I was younger. It's sorely in need of editting and the certain parts are in need of total rethinking.
This was a book I’d read years ago that I keep returning to every few years to reread as it’s a good one with great character development, satisfying to read and has a good plot.
There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of this book. I cannot count the amount of times I have read this over the years. I was there on Wattpad when the author was updating each chapter, eagerly awaiting the next. I am so happy that this book exists in some form, and I hope the author knows how truly cherished and loved this story is. Whenever I'm asked the hard-to-answer question, what my favourite book is, this is the one that always comes to mind first. I truly recommend this fun read to everyone who asks for a great book recommendation.
This story manages to make me laugh and cry at the same time every time I read it, and I've already lost count of how many times I've gone through John and Cece's story. A true historical fiction classic, taking us on a journey with characters that soon become our favourites, making us yearn for a little bit more time with them. I recommend this story to any reader looking for an adventure, a strong heroine, life lessons to cherish and an amazing love story. You should definitely consider going to wattpad and sign up for updates of it sequel!
oh my gosh yes it finally became a real book! I knew it would after reading it in wattpad. it was so long ago since it was the very first book I read in the site. funny, sweet, and lovable, I couldn't put it done!
Second time around reading this. The quality of writing improves through out the story. I felt like the end could have been dragged out or developed before the happy ending, the time jump left a lot of questions unanswered. With some work it would make a great published work.

It was a really great book I just wished sometimes the Author would be more descriptive of moments happening between two things;basically in the transitions. Overall I kinda really like historical fiction and this is a great one for any fan of historical fiction.
I've read this story years ago on Wattpad and I would stay up at night just to read it back then. It's good and not the typical save the damsel in distress kind of story.
