This was an okay read, but i lost interest.

The characters in this one were alright, but i didn't love any of them. Delaney and Sam annoyed me at times.

The book started out alright, but after a few chapters i started to feel bored. After that it started to drag, and i wanted the book to end.

Overall, Not awful, but couldn't keep my interest.

Lots of emotions ran through me, we met new characters but as usual I focused more on Delaney and Sam, and a little bit of Micah. "I can't lose, her, Ariel." Emotion rises up in my throat and I turn my face away. "I don't even know who I am without hear. She's always been a part of my life." Well then Micah you shouldn't have been an ass to her then. We meet Jax and he is truly just something else, he brings life to the group in this situation, may be a pain in the ass but he brings back some of the life, "No way man," Jax protests. "I cam here to fight to get Zoe back not sit and around talk. What do I look like? A chick?" Sam that boy I love even more, yes even after everything he's done my feeling don't change, of course he always finds a way to be a smartass even in the up-most situations:
"I need help with my pants," he says with a gleam in his eye.
I yank my arm out of his grasp and narrow my eyes. "You perv."
He chuckles. "Can't blame a guy for trying."
Zoe is also something else, no wonder he and Jax are perfect for each other, they're the same both ballsy. "And what if I'm the queen of freakin' England? We don't have time to play these pointless games. Geez, you're lucky you met me, you need to have a friend who talks some sense into you," There were literally some heart stopping moments in the book, and the cliffhanger wasn't as brutal as Dazzle's (Thank God!) I can't wait to read Betray!

SHATTER was a great continuation of DAZZLE.It picks up right where Dazzle left off.I love the way it ended.Though we are still unsure about what is going to happen to Sam now,it isn't the big cliffhanger like in DAZZLE.I am more in love with Sam now then I was in SHATTER.
Delaney has been kidnapped by the Sarafites and stripped of her power. She is imprisoned with two other Ekloge warriors.Sam and Micah both want Delaney back but Micah refuses to work with Sam.Sam seeing no other choice, tries to rescue Delaney himself.Things don't according to plan but Sam does find her, along with someone else expectantly.Delaney tries to stay mad at Sam and deny her feelings for him to no avail.Meanwhile,Micah along with some old and new friends seek out of Zerach's compound and embark on their own rescue mission.Getting is will be the easy part, getting out will prove to be a significant challenge with decisions that can end up being devastating to our Ekloge Warriors. Will they succeed in their rescue? Will all our Warriors make it out alive? And will Sam make another decision that has devastating consequences?

After reading Dazzle, I was anxiously awaiting the release of Shatter. I fell in love with Sam in the first book and just had to know how his story with Delaney would play out. I couldn't read Shatter fast enough--the action kept me turning the page into the late hours of the night to see what would happen next. I LOVED all of the new characters introduced (um, hello Jax!) and their gifts were so unique and intriguing. Amber does a great job of creating such a fascinating world filled with equally as fascinating characters. There were moments when I thought I knew what was going to happen, and then Amber would throw a curve ball that took the plot a completely different direction and had me going, "Oh my goodness! I can't believe that just happened!" I LOVE when a book can surprise me like that. I adored the ending and cannot wait to see how things continue for the warriors! Incredible second book in the series--I highly recommend Shatter!

Delaney is an Ekloge Warrior with special powers, and a follower of Zerach. She had been captured by Zerach's enemies and is being held in the Charred City where she meets other Ekloge Warriors that had been captured.

Sam is trying his hardest to get Micah to work with him to find Delaney. He loves Delaney very much and regrets setting her up, but Micah loves Delaney too and doesn't trust Sam at all and would prefer to kill him for what he did. So Sam sets out on his own.

In the meantime, Micah, Ariel, Jax and Evan decide they need to go and find Delaney and get her out of the Charred City. What they find in the Charred City and what happens to them and who they find is something I don't want to give away, you have to read the book yourself! There are lots of twists and turns and fighting, mystery, killing and love.

I hope it's not too long before Betray comes out!

I finished it in one sitting!

It took me all night but I finished it. I just couldn't put it down. I loved the original characters but I believe the addition of the 3 new warriors made it all that more fun.
