Lovely book with lots of detail about the National Cathedral (in Washington DC). I’ve been there several times but only inside once. (Events were occurring with limited access the other times.) Now that I’ve read this book, there are so many intricate details of workmanship throughout the building and externally that I don’t think you could study all of them within a lifetime!

Very well written: detailed explanations of the building's interior, exterior, surroundings, and use without being confusing or overly done. The photos are detailed and spectacular. The maps are well done: clear, color-coded, and easily accessed in the back of the book. A wonderful souvenir or very good prep for any future visit (or revisit).

Really helpful Guide to History and Significance of Cathedral. Need to be 5X as big to cover it all, but this nice bite is succinct, manageable clear and well written. Hungry for more and ready to revisit and explore. Beautiful pictures and panoramic views mix with historical photos .
