When Gotham is ravaged by a “7.6” earthquake, the heroes of the city face a natural force more powerful and threatening than any super–villain. Wayne Manor collapses in on the Bat Cave, skyscrapers fall on one another like dominoes, and subway cars are trapped beneath piles of rubble. Even those with superhuman abilities feel helpless in the aftermath. The wheelchair-bound Oracle directs rescue efforts from police headquarters, while inmates run loose at Blackgate Penitentiary, and villains such as the Penguin attempt to take advantage of the greatest catastrophe Gotham has ever known. This trade paperback follows Batman, Robin, Nightwing, the Huntress, and even Catwoman, to name only a few, as they are drawn from crisis to crisis while trying to make some headway against the utter chaos and destruction of the cataclysm.
