കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജില്‍ നിന്ന് 1979-ല്‍ MBBS ഉം കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജില്‍ നിന്ന് 1984-ല്‍ ഫോറന്‍സിക് മെഡിസിനില്‍ MD ഉം നേടി.1982 മുതല്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജില്‍ അധ്യാപിക.1996-ല്‍ WHO യുടെ ഫെല്ലോഷിപ്പില്‍ സ്ത്രീകളുടെയും കുട്ടികളുടെയും നേര്‍ക്കുള്ള അതിക്രമങ്ങള്‍,ഭീകരാക്രമണങ്ങളിലെ പരിക്കുകള്‍ ഇവയില്‍ England-ല്‍ ഉപരിപഠനം.

ഫോറൻസിക് സയൻസ്/ ക്രിമിനോളജി ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവർ ഇൗ അനുഭവം മിസ് ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക. ബാറ്റൺ ബോസും ഹോസും വായിച്ച് തള്ളുന്ന സുഖം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കരുത്.

Postmortem Table has a very interesting and unique concept. Through experiences around the postmortem table, the book offers a glimpse into a rarely discussed side of medicine and human life.
However, the writing sometimes feels a bit unstructured. While the idea behind the book is strong, a more organized narration could have made the reading experience better.

ഒരു cadaver പരിശോധിച്ച് അതിൻ്റെ യദാർത്ഥ മരണ കാരണം കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുക എന്നത് ഏറെ ദുഷ്കരം അണ്. ഒരു cadaver മുന്നിൽ വരുമ്പോൾ ആ ശരീരം മരിച്ചത് അരാണ്? ഇപ്പൊൾ,എങ്ങനെ,എന്ത് കാരണം എന്നി ചോദ്യങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഥമ ഉത്തരം നൽകേണ്ട ചുമതല ഒരു ഫോറൻസിക് സർജൻ അണ്. ആയിരകണക്കിന് പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടം ചെയ്ത ഒരു ഡോക്ടറുടെ അനുഭവം അണ് ഈ പുസ്തകം.

postmortem table, written by an eminent professor of forensic medicine at calicut medical college, is a wonderful book in malayalam about the facts and myths in an autopsy room.most of the people are unaware of the details of postmortem, moreover its a nightmare to many..dr sherly has done a wonderful job by writing this book in beautiful malayalam language, giving the details of autopsy, its social and emotional aspects.everything written in this book are true incidents also.
not a must read book...but it will be a nice reading experience for those who are interested
