This was such a cute funny story. I loved the quirky sense if humor throughout. The book also had great illustrations. The style kind of reminds me of Captain Underpants, which was one of my favorite book series when I was a kid. I definitely recommend this foe older elementary kids and early middle grade students.

I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review. Bill and his mom are still adjusting to being zombies. They are doing good and are keeping it hid from everyone. Someone may be about to change that. Bill's dad is back and out for revenge. He may just get even with them and discover they are zombies. Bill and his mom will have to fight to keep their secret and each other. Bill's friends have a big hand to play as well.

This is the 3rd book in the Zombie Kid Diaries series. It is a very cute series that any fan of Whimpy Kid Diaries would enjoy. Lets face it is hard to get to kids to read sometimes and this author has create a series that kids will love. There is all kinds of fart jokes which we know kids love. I like this series and will be sure to get my littlest one to read them as she gets older.

I did feel this book wasn't as good as the other two in the series. For some reason it didn't have the usual touch of zombie that the other two had. Yes it is still good it just seemed missing something. You do get to see Bill and his mom become closer and they do talk a little about what it means to be a zombie. Yes they have found a way to talk in this book. You also get to see Bill's mom make a few changes and kinda start dating again. You have to know it is hard with her not eating normal food and can't hardly speak but she makes it work. I will get the next book cause I just adore this series. If you have a reluctant reader at home pick up this series I am sure they will enjoy it.

I did not like this book when I started. Thankfully it seems to pick up at the end. The first part of the book seems so mind numblingly in love with the premise that it's a Wimpy Kid Zombie that after the first twenty pages I was considering abandoning the book.

This seems to be the third book in a series. I did not read books one or two and I don't feel myself wanting to read them. If for some reason you are a young person who likes zombies, fart humor and is really amused by thinking about various gross things you can eat, this book is for you. If you find juvenile repetitive fiction vapid, then you probably shouldn't read this book.

Three stars because I did feel like there was some pay off at the end.

Another fun entry into the anti-Wimpy Kid series. Billy Stokes is still suffering from your average kid problems - he's trying to coast by in school so he doesn't end up in either the advanced or remedial courses while working on his dream of being a video game champ. He's not going to let a little thing like being a zombie stop him. That is until his mega-watt jerk of a loser dad shows up, fresh out of jail and with a new money making scheme in mind.
Hilarity ensues with the death of a beloved pet (yes, this is actually funny!), a pink and sparkly little girl packing mace and lots and lots of fart jokes.
Perfect for the tween crowd.

My third grader read this to finish the series. He liked that the illustrator was the same one as in the first book. He was disappointed again that there wasn't a tournament (there was in the first book, but not the second). He has heard of the zombie series "The Walking Dead" so he was able to appreciate the punny title.

Story line was a bit better. Kid had to deal with parental issues with his dad and it was nice to see the mom be more of a mom. The illustrations seemed to go well with the novel. I liked one picture in particular reference to the Charlie Brown/Lucy doctor advice
