I picked this book up in a Half Priced Book Store in Corpus Christi Texas. I have been reading the recipes and began preparing them recently. I have been impressed with everything that I have made. The recipes celebrate the region's mix of coastal seafood, cattle ranching, wild game, and the fact that they can have vegetable gardens year-round.
