Has to be most ironic title ever!

Before you troll this NON-review and raise the following points:

Hero has amnesia and DOESN’T have his bearings - I am well aware of that fact BUT he HIMSELF IS aware of that fact too and I don’t know may be should focus on getting his bearings back BEFORE sticking his tongue invading someone’s tonsils?

Hero has amnesia and isn’t very aware of his surroundings - lie. He IS very much aware of his surroundings because even though he doesn’t remember he has been INFORMED by his parents that heroine IS in fact his current girlfriend. He DIDN’T question that AND he felt the chemistry between them. SO he has now acknowledged the relationship just doesn’t remember it. So, sticking your tongue inside OW’s mouth WITHOUT taking a break or breaking up is cheating. Amnesia isn’t going to save you from THIS one. He kissed the OW knowing he is in a relationship.

My definition and your definition of cheating is different - well, let’s put amnesia aside. Your boyfriend was injured. He’s in the hospital. One of the nurses is his ex and he doesn’t feel indifferent to her. You are still there. Hanging in the corridor. He’s not going to break up with you because there’s VERY strong chemistry between you, but he feels something for the ex so he’s going to go for a full on make out session. Playing tonsil hockey. Imagine walking into that room. You are fine with it, and it’s not cheating? Then yes, your and my definition of cheating is different.

Teaser # 14

Here is a teaser from Faithful in Jeff's POV. vSame drill...this has NOT been edited and is subject to change before publishing.

****

JEFF POV
As soon as we pulled up and parked Ari jumped out of the truck and ran over to Ellie. I knew she'd been dying to talk to her. Gunner smiled and gave me another wink.

Bastard. Thinks he all romantic and shit. I can be just as romantic as his ass.

“Keep on smiling dude. I’ve got my game on tonight.” I said as I slapped his back.

Gunner started laughing, “Yeah okay…if you think you got what it takes to out romance me. Bring it.”

“Oh I will. I am! You wait and see.”

After about four beers I was feeling pretty good. Ari was having fun and Ellie was so damn happy my heart was over flowing. That’s when I saw the bastard go talk to the DJ.

What in the hell was his romantic ass up to?

“Ah hell…what’s he doing Josh?”

Josh looked over toward Gunner and shrugged his shoulders.

“Don’t know.”

He started to walk back over towards us but he was looking right at Ellie.

“Holy hell, Ellie…that boy is looking at you with nothing but love in his eyes.” Amanda said.

Gunner walked up and reached for Ellie’s hand.

“Dance with me?”

Ellie smiled and stood up as he kissed the back of her hand.

As they were walking out to the dance floor he turned around and winked at me. Bastard.

I watched as they danced and Ellie buried her face into his chest. I had to hand it to him. He made my sister happy. I smiled just a bit at the thought of my best friend and sister being so in love with each other.

“He loves her so much.” Ari said from behind me as she put her arms around me and kissed my cheek.

“I know he does.”

“He’s so sweet with the way he is always sweeping her off her feet.”

Wait. What?

She moved around me and sat down next to me and started talking to Amanda and Heather.

“Did Ellie tell you how he packed everything up the other day and took her and Alex to the river for a picnic?” Heather said as the other two went on and on with Gunner praise.

I looked over at Josh who just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. I looked over towards Brad.

“Don’t even try dude. He’s got us all beat.”

Fuck this shit.

I stood up and walked over to the DJ. I can be just as romantic as Gunner.

Teaser # 15

HEATHERS POV
I started walking toward Victoria and saw Gunner jump up and walk up to me. He took me by the arm and leaned down toward my ear.

“Heather…why don’t you let me take care of her.”

We kept walking towards her and I looked at Gunner. “I’m tired of these crazy ass, no good for nothing stupid bitches. I’m going to finish this.”

Gunner let go of my arm but kept walking with me. As I walked up to Victoria the smile that spread across her face made me sick to my stomach. I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her right back out the door and down the hallway.

“Let go of me right now!” Victoria said.

I stopped and pushed her against the wall.

“Listen here you crazy ass nutcase........"

I was hesitant with this one, because I didn’t really care for Heather in the previous books, the amnesia with a meddling ex interested me into giving it a shot. In this one we have former man-whore Josh, and meek orphaned Heather's story, and it follows the same formula as the other books, but this time we have two OW in the mix. At the end of Saved H & J have had an argument, and Josh is in critical condition after being in a car accident. In the epilogue there’s a teaser with Heather witnessing Josh proposing to a “Victoria” (which doesn’t come up until 44%) and is so stupid. The book starts with the days leading up to the accident, and we learn they were arguing about Lynda.

First, let’s talk about the cheating, because this is a MAJOR issue with reviewers. If you’re familiar with my reviews; I like to keep it real, so let’s look at the facts… Josh has just woken up (after a day I believe) from an accident that caused him to be in critical condition. He’s had surgery, a blood transfusion, has broken bones, and a head injury that has caused partial amnesia. He’s lost the last 4 years of memories; he feels like he’s still in college and has been “hooking up” with Victoria. Within a short amount of time (maybe an hour) while his eyes are closed… Victoria starts kissing him, pushing her tongue in his mouth and rubbing his dick. He returns the kiss for a moment, until a picture of Heather flashes in his mind, and the kissing feels wrong then he stops it. I 100% agree, it sucks that he’s checked out V's ass, and was tempting by the numerous BJ offers. I also understand that he doesn’t remember Heather at all… like didn’t even know her name, nor does he feel/think/know he's in a serious relationship, so is it cheating?? Call me crazy, but I feel like all the hate should be directed at Victoria; the medical professional that is TOTALLY unprofessional; calling him sweetheart; whispering BJ offers minutes after regaining consciousness w/ his parents in the room, and jumping him in the elevator. I wonder if it were reversed and Heather was jumped by a her former bf-male nurse after waking… would readers be screaming cheater, or party foul?? Personally IMHO, I found V's shenanigans so OTT far-fetched ridiculous that I didn't take the encounter seriously, and wasn't bothered by it. Moving on..

While I did appreciate (from a drama aspect) the absolute dog after a bone tenacity Victoria had for splitting this couple up; I’ve started to lose patience with the “same shit” different book. I find it ridiculous that Josh couldn’t recognize Lynda or V’s antics after pointing Rebecca’s manipulations to Jeff in the last book. And the constant “slut shaming” accompanied with the female characters: yelling, slapping, shoving, punching said sluts (usually while pregnant) with the skanks just quietly taking it was unbelievable. This bitch has the balls to go after your fiancé, but she won’t fight back when confronted, and never press charges??!! Not to mention, what men sit around crying and sharing their feelings… "she’s my air man, I can’t breathe without her"… ugh

Bottom Line- Heather was definitely better, but still somewhat annoying. Her "deep breathing" and trying to work up the courage to provide Josh with his beloved BJ was stupid. Her inability to share that Lynda was tormenting her...even stupider. Her flip to F-bomb dropping, pregnant Mohamad Ali...sigh... I still think these books are TOO long, and I’ve grown weary of the “blueprint”, and I’m also annoyed because I decided I was done with the series, but then her little “teaser” with Scott cheating on Jessie has me downloading the next book…GRRR… BUT this is the 3rd book, so you should know by now whether you like it or not by now😊

Before I read the book...
Omg, why do I keep thinking that maybe he lost some of his memory from the car crash and he doesn't remember his love for Heather, it's the only reason I can think that he would go off and ask Victoria to marry him. Unless Heather was scared from the car crash and she dumps Josh again. The epilogue in Saved made me want to scream for poor Heather! What is Josh thinking! Thing is, I'm dreading reading this book but at the same time looking forward to it. I know, don't ask my brains crazy. Oh man I know this is gonna be one of those books that makes me either want to cry or throw my kindle in frustration.

After I read Faithful...

Oh Kelly Elliot you sneaky woman. Everything is not what it seems in that glimpse she showed us in Saved. I loved Faithful, it was brilliant, the story line kept me hooked. Luckily I never felt the need to throw my kindle with this book thank God. I also loved the fact that we see more of Ari and Elli in their relationships as well and with their kids. Once again the Epilogue had me shocked and now I can't wait for Cherished in 2014 to see Jessie and Scott's story. All I can say is I am not a big fan of Scott right now. I love the way that Kelly has a way to keep the readers hooked on this series with the excellent twists she brings into the story and Faithful is no different.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
======================
When I glanced over at Victoria again, I decided to just get it over with. As I walked toward her, I noticed her beautiful, long dark brown hair. She had it down today, and the thoughts running through my head were making my dick rock-hard. I’d hooked up with her more than any other girl, and she knew it. Something was missing though. I just wasn’t feeling it with her.

Yeah, she’s beautiful, and we have great fucking sex, but she’s definitely not the one.

Okay…I’m pretty damn sure we’re no longer together. Didn’t I break up with her? Oh yeah…right after the blow job. Best fucking blow job of my life…at least from what I can remember.

Victoria had already given me a lecture about trying to force memories to come back. Then, she’d reminded me about how much I loved her blow jobs.

When she turned and leaned over, I couldn’t help but notice her ass. Damn…girl has been working out these last few years. I quickly looked away and glanced at Heather. She was watching Victoria’s every move.

Thank God she didn’t see me checking out Victoria’s ass.

I heard the elevator doors close, and then I felt lips on my lips. Those beautiful, soft-looking lips… I opened my eyes to see it was Victoria kissing me. When her tongue pushed into my mouth, I started exploring it with mine. I let out a moan as I remembered all the times we’d been together. She responded with her own moan that ran through my body, causing my dick to jump.

I needed to find out more about Heather, but damn…I was aching for Victoria’s touch again.

He was looking at me like he…loved me. But the way he had looked at Victoria was like he lusted after her.

“So, I ran into a girl I knew from college—Michele Walker.” “Ah shit, Brad. Your fuck buddy from college?” Jeff shook his head. “Yeah, Jeff, my fuck buddy from college,” Brad said, glaring at him.

Brad instantly started crying again. “I practically raped my own wife. At first, it was hot as hell for the both of us…but then…I think she knew something was wrong with me. She started asking me to stop…but I didn’t. Afterward, the only thing I remember was her lying there, crying. I packed up a bag and stayed at a hotel for a few days.”

“I guess Michele thought it would be fun to tape our little escapade, so she set up a camera and videotaped the whole thing—me taking the drugs and then making out with her.” Brad started shaking his head.

As Victoria looked my body up and down, I remembered the kiss. When I’d kissed her in the elevator in the hospital, she’d felt me up with her hand. I instantly dropped Heather’s hand before I started to walk into the house.

Oh my god. I cheated on Heather. I felt sick.

* Before reading Faithful *

After reading the epilogue... I have to say I kinda want Heather to ditch Josh (maybe forever)
Yeah of course I'm all for true love will conquer all! But really? Josh engaging to an old fling from before Heather? After all they've been through he leaves her again. Well sure I don't know everything since the scenes cut from "Josh might be dead!" To him proposing to a girl; Victoria.
And where did she come from? Well once I read the prologue for this book, we are given the detail of her in nursing school. So I'm only assuming she's a nurse who was at the hospital when Josh was there, blah blah blah, they end up on the beach with Josh on one knee.
I'm conflicted with this particular relationship because I feel like Josh doesn't truly love this Victoria chick, basically another Lynda but with Victoria he actually has somewhat of a connection? I don't know.
What I'm trying to say about Josh, is I don't think he will really be happy. Therefore I'll be reading about his halfhearted relationship with Victoria. Which makes me wonder why people pursue/stay in relationships when they're not truly happy.
UGH! All of the above is what a little Epilogue and prologue triggered! All assumptions, which is never good because I could be way off.
My main point about this book is: I actually think I want to read about someone moving on (Heather). If not and they get back together cool. I just look forward to some more Ellie, Gunner, Ari, and Jeff (hopefully!)

*After*

Holy Hell! Gosh I love these books!
First of all, I was way off on my assumptions. Thank God!
But sheesh, this book is full of so much love and babies and... All the good stuff to fill my heart to the max.
Plus there's going to be a fourth book?!

And that epilogue? Huh. We have yet another runner. Did she check to make sure it was Scott? No. All she has was his truck out side, and Chelsea riding some guy. It could be his brother Bryce who drove Scott's truck because Scott got wasted at the party!
GAH, I can't wait to read their story. Oh, and all the Elli-Gunner, Ari-Jeff chapters? Loved it!

"...a love like that is too strong to be broken...by anything! A love like that will remain faithful to the very end."

We have already been following Heather and Josh's story throughout this series in Wanted and Saved. Heather is the sweet school teacher who lost her parents to tragedy and Josh is the reformed bad boy, man whore who was getting his life together. At the end of Saved, it looked like after many trials and tribulations that they were really in a good place, but a misunderstanding and an accident changed the course of their lives again.

The accident has repercussions: memory loss, demons from the past, and confusion. Josh is in a vulnerable state and Heather feels lost and powerless. They have to learn who each other are all over again and deal with outside influences causing conflict. And of course this is a Kelly Elliott book so you know there has to be struggles, miscommunication, misunderstandings, angst, and drama. Josh's ex Victoria takes over the bitch role in this book and she does it very well. I wanted to back slap her myself so many times!

I adore Josh. He really has matured through this series and even as he struggled to understand everything, he could feel his connection to Heather. It was beautiful to see his reaction to Heather and how he could fall all over again. Heather is caring, strong and so devoted. Sure she has issues, insecurities, and fears, but she really has come into her own. She has faced so much in her life and it has affected her deeply. But her love for Josh is never in question.

"With every ounce of strength I have, I will fight for our love. I will forever be true and faithful to only you. I love you so much, and I'd be lost without you in my life....You are my every breath, every smile every tear, and every single laugh. You are my everything. You are my life, Josh Hayes."

"I want to lose myself in you...and I pray to God I also find myself in you, princess."

This is the story of love finding a way during difficult circumstances. There are some really sweet, swoony moments, and others that made me want to throw my kindle, cry, or smack someone. This book packed in so much, but it was never boring, and I was greedily devouring the story to see what was going to happen next.

"I've never in my life...ever...felt this way with anyone. You're the air that I breathe, the light in my darkness, the hope of my future."

"Good lord, can't we just have a few months of no drama in this group of ours?"~Ellie

Kelly Elliott has created a world with characters and couples you cannot help but love and adore despite their faults. Ellie and Gunner, Ari and Jeff, and Amanda and Brad and their continuing stories are all a big part of this book as well. And we get to know Scott and Jessie more. The men are swoony and sexy, the women are sassy, independent, and strong. The villians are nasty and make you furious. You feel all of their pain, fear, joy, anger, heart break, and happiness. And there is so much humor too. These characters play off each other so well and are really funny and feisty. She never fails to bring out every emotion and keep you flipping pages quickly. I love getting points of view from all of the main characters and her transitions flow flawlessly. I really feel like I am transported in this world and am part of their group(Damn, I would not mind having one of these amazing, swoony, sexy guys to call my own...sigh). I love these couples. They have become like friends that I love to go and visit. and I enjoy being with them during the good and bad times. They are devoted, loving, protective, passionate, and real. They are not perfect, they make mistakes and they learn from them. These couples all have amazing chemistry, intense connections, and passion. And they are such a tight core group of friends that stick by each other through thick and thin. Their little competitions, teasing, and witty rapport just show how much affection they hold for each other. And they are protective as hell and will stand up to anyone messing with their friends.

This was largely Heather and Josh's story, but we also saw important events happening with all of the characters lives. This book gave me everything I needed, but at the same time left me ready for more. I can't wait for the next book Cherished. I already really like the couple that we were introduced to in this book. And I could totally see a spin-off series with the children from this series in the future.

Thanks to Kelly Elliott for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Will be posted at Reviews by Tammy and Kim.

August 20th Release Date!!!!! Can't wait for this book :)

Holy Moly.....Kelly Elliott has done it again!!!!! This book was FANTASTIC. I might even have to say that is was the best of the three so far. This story was so beautifully written that it had me feeling everything the characters were feeling. I really can't say to much about the story because it would ruin what happens in the story. Just know that any questions that were lingering from Saved are answered in this book. I absolutely loved Josh and Heather's story. This book brought out so many emotions....I cried, laughed, cheered, swooned, and even yelled at my kindle a couple times. Kelly truly knows how to write some really amazing characters, even the ones we hate (Rebecca, Victoria, Lynda and now Chelsea)

I was happy to see all of the Wanted gang in this book. What really made me happy was that because this was Heather and Josh's story, the book really focused on them. I felt that in Saved that Jeff and Ari's story kind of got overshadowed by some of the other stories going on. I was so glad to see that didn't happen with Faithful. Faithful starts off right where Saved ended, which I love by the way. This book starts off with Josh being in the hospital after his car accident. I loved how Kelly handled this storyline. I was glad to see that she didn't add as much drama as there could of been with this type of storyline. I felt that she expressed Josh's and Heather's feeling perfectly. I really liked Heather in this book. I wasn't to fond of her in Saved, but she was totally redeemed in Faithful. She finally grew a back bone and fought for what she wanted. I won't say much but I will say that I was so happy with how she handled Victoria, in a couple scenes. I was glad to see her inner Ari come out....LOL!!!! Josh was amazing in this book. Totally going on my bbf list. I can't say enough about him, but I also believe that you need to read this book to truly understand how great Josh is. I think he totally gave Gunner a run for his money in this book.

I loved that we also got the continuing stories of Brad, Amanda, Ari, Jeff, Gunner, and Ellie. It was great to see this gang still as close as ever and to keep up to date with everything going on. I was truly shocked with the direction she took Brad and Amanda, but I was also happy with how it turned out. I loved the banter between all of these friends. I loved the little side bets that were going on between both the guys and the girls.

I think I had a permanent smile on my face for the majority of this book. Even when I was crying, I was still smiling because it was just that great of a book. I would definitely recommend this book/series to anyone looking for a sweet and sexy love story.

Another story with a pussy hero.
This is the story of the couple we met in the previous book and of course it is disappointing because:
- in the previous book I only understood something and not everything about them. That is: he liked her, she liked him but she didn’t trust him because he was a manho ( he was).
She lost her vCard to a drunken date and he had another girl for months.
Great love it is.
So, they got together eventually ( why?) but he has an accident and has got amnesia: when he wakes up he thinks he’s still at college dating the nurse, who was at the time (4 years before) his gf. (I’m crying)
Well, now the heroine has a hard time making him remember who she is, while evil exes are around.
The hero is the king ( or maybe the queen) of all pussies and can’t tell ow to stay away from him.
He lets ow stay around and bully the heroine, he knows he loves the heroine but doesn’t remember her, and in the meantime the heroine finds out she’s preggar.
Well ok, other 4 couples have issues here, one of them has cheating and drug issues, the others seem quite good and grown up, the main couple eventually finds their hea.
Still, all their past story is glossed over and we don’t actually know much because their story is mentioned in previous book but without many details so it seems to me that from a big mess they went jumping into almost being engaged in a period of meh… a couple of months??? Really?
Ok, then there’s the great matter of his cheating.
- he had major surgery the day before, concussion, was days in a coma and awoke with amnesia. He thought he was in college. He was under drugs for pains and other issues. So his consciousness was altered.
The crazy nurse ow abused him while he was in a stretcher to have ct scan. ( the woman is sick!) She kissed him and he was thinking of the heroine and was confused. I think he was somehow hallucinating, and couldn’t tell present from his past. She touched him and he pushed her away because he felt it was wrong.
I don’t think that a sick man who has surgery the day before and is full of drugs and narcotics has to be considered responsible if a crazy nurse assaults him and touches his ehem. He was confused and with amnesia and I think the girl had to be prosecuted for sexual harassment. And fired. Sometimes I’ve heard of doctors or nurses (most males) abusing their patients and I think it’s disgusting because they exploit a person who they should protect and are at their most vulnerable. Is it funny? Is the victim to blame? I’m all for safety but even if the hero was kissing ow back for a moment the author lets us know he was confused. It was disgusting and disturbing. And unethical.
Whatever.
There is another thing I didn’t like of this hero and it was his behavior with ow the following weeks.
He was a pussy the following weeks because he let ow come between him and the heroine, even if he didn’t remember her he was careless when he saw that he was hurting her.
- again, too many weeping men and too many bossy women who deal with ows while their men stand watching them.
What is it? Role reversal? I’m sorry, I need my alpha. I want to be rescued by a hot sexy man. This thing doesn’t work for me.
This is a book about weak men who find themselves strong women who have to pick up pieces of their mistakes. Not for me.
So, after all I don’t think I’ll read more of this series, I still think it would be a good script for a serial about young adult/ teenagers but I struggle to feel any angst here.

Ugh, it's impossible not to love these books! I have fallen for every character and that ending is seriously killing me. I don't like it. it's hurting my heart big time. I think Faithful is my favorite story, but Gunner is still my favorite male. :) Very excited for Amanda and Brad's story then Jessie and Scott's! :)

To start with I was very excited to read Faithful and I'll just say that it was a huge disappointment. Definitely a very weak two star rating.

I feel like there were too many character POVs for the chapters. I found myself having to go back to the beginning of a chapter on more than one occasion to see who was narrating a chapter. Everybody sounds the same.

I swear the female characters love to get into arguments with girls and their own love interests at times. I feel like there is too much drama.

Victoria was a little bitch just looking to cause trouble.

The parents of the main characters have the speech patterns and cursing habits of a bunch of teenagers. Why doesn't each have there own vocabulary that can separate the twenty year olds from the forty/fifty year old parents? Some of the stuff Elizabeth Hayes says doesn't fit her as an adult character. She sounds like a teenager.

Seriously, I would have left out Ellie and Jeff's mother all together. Why do we need to resolve every conflict between characters and present it all tied up with a pretty ribbon. She was a bitch in Wanted and I think she should been left that way.

My biggest issue is the need for every couple to breed and multiply like rabbits. For Christ sakes they are in their early twenties. Why ruin their lives with children? Hell, the first brats aren't even a year old before Mommy's knocked up again in the case of Ellie and Ari.

All the male characters are reduced to a bunch of whiny men who cry too much.

Worst book of the series and that's such a shame because I enjoyed Saved. It was the same repetitive story-line as the first two books. And what happened to that epic cliffhanger from Saved? In this book (just like the last two) there's always some crazy and disrespectful woman trying to get with the heroes and the heroines are going off on them. I don't actually think there's that many of these types of women who throw themselves at married/engaged men in real life but there seems to be plenty who don't understand the word 'no' in this book. It wasn't even good drama. The rest of the book is filled with the characters having lots of sex and repeatedly saying how much they love each other, nothing dramatic or climatic actually happened. Also, the fact that the book was from 8 different POVs (4 couples) was confusing.

Another issue I had with the book was the fact that all characters are between the ages of 20-24. I haven't met many people of that age group who are all married, settled with two kids each AND own land and homes. Have you? Towards the end, the female characters were going to celebrate their 21st birthday. Crazy.

The author yet again left us with a 'cliffhanger' (featuring another crazy woman) but based on the last cliffhanger it's probably just another dream or a misunderstanding. Definitely won't be wasting my time and money again.

Jesus H Christ, over and over again. I lost count of how many times the author uses this phrase/curse but I'm willing to bet its well close to 90? So there is the first thing I didn't care for.

Men crying!!! ALL OF THEM! I have never before come across a bigger group of pansy ass men. Every single one of them cries and tears up MULTIPLE TIMES, Josh, Jeff, Gunner, Brad, Dad.

And the CHEESE! Ugh! We're talking Feta, Ricotta, Mozzarella, American, Provolone, you name it. Freaking ridiculous.

The authors limited vocabulary was also a huge bother. Her repetitiveness was so horrendous. I'm flabbergasted she found a publishing company to accept this as printable material. SMH.

Not Lastly but it will be the last thing I mention: The Clichés! Dear anyone, please let this one go unless you are really looking for a waste of time.

I DNFed this one ages ago. Way too long. Way too many characters' stories interwoven. It's supposedly about Heather and Josh, but there are so many other POVs I lost count. The evil OW and her minions are cookie cutter diabolical. Basically this author goes on my 'Not my cuppa' shelf. Way too much back and forth with the Evil OW getting up in their face again as often as the bad guy does in an overly cheesy action flick.

4 Josh and Heather Stars

I think these novels are my 'absolutely escape reality' series. I read them years ago and have been re reading via audible and ebook.

The world is all a bit crazy , sad and unpredictable just now , so jumping back to a book world where you get swept up in the dramas that are all resolved with a happy ever after seems like a good idea.

The books remind me of crazy over the top soap operas....oh the drama....

This is a quick synopsis but the basis of all the books are the same:

-Girl falls in love with cowboy / rancher / horse breeder/ carpenter (who are all wealthy but grounded) and the guy reciprocates all the feelings.

- Some pesky hussy with legs for days and amazing boobs tries to lure said boy away.

-There is usually a previous connection or one night stand with said hussy, then something majorly dramatic happens and our heroine leaves in something of a snit.

-The Hero is bereft, gets off his face drunk and contemplates possibly bonking another woman to fix his broken heart ...

-The hussy rocks up , seizing her chance and tantalising the Hero with her magical boobs/ legs/ hair...

- The Hero nearly folds...

But love prevails. The OW is sent packing. The crisis is averted and there is a reunion involving great passion and lurve.

Nearly every heroine gets pregnant , delivers a baby and is demanding bedroom antics from her man within hours of childbirth. All the characters are giving 'weak smiles' , 'weak grins', licking their lips , biting their lips , the Hero is pulling the heroines lip out from her biting it. And don't get me started on the winking. Dear Lord the winking. Everyone winks. Sometimes multiple characters on the page are winking.

I don't care though - I still love all the drama and angst.

The books need to be read in order really to follow the flow of the characters journeys.

Book 1 Wanted Gunner & Ellie (But Jeff & Ari's story starts here)

Book 2 Saved Jeff & Ari (But Josh & Heather's story starts here)

Book 3 Faithful Josh & Heather (Brad & Amanda's story features too).

Book 4 Cherished Scott & Jessie (Lark & Azurdee start here and continue in Unconditional Love)

If you want some time out from reality , pick up this series. Hot guys, impossibly stunning girls, ranches , a country song list a mile long and winking. Lots of winking...

HEA? Yes , everyone eventually gets an HEA.
Cheating ? In some books there may be some fraternising with other people hell bent on breaking up the happy couples. Nothing too terrible though.

Who would've thought that this is the book that would bring back the bookworm in me who gives reviews after reading a good book? Honestly, haven't updated my Goodreads for so long and I've read a lot of good books but I just can't find any time to make reviews (sorry). This particular book though was one of my most awaited book this year because the teaser in the 2nd installment (Saved) got me so hooked and curious as to why everything turned out like that for Josh and Heather. I mean really? Another girl in the picture which I was betting was real bitch! I was right! Obsessed bitch! Lol. The book captivated me from prologue till the end. I couldn't put the book down and I was awake till the AM. Kelly Elliot made another awesome book!!!! & I have to say that out of the 3 books, this is the best. Hands down. It's also good to read chapters from Ellie & Gunner, Ari & Jeff and of course new character Jessie & Scott. The playlist was also good btw. Ed Sheeran's Kiss Me and Keith Urban's Your Everything has been on repeat after finishing this book. I love it and wow! 4th book? Really? Can't wait for Jessie and Scott's story! OMG. 2014? Too long but I know Elliot's books are always worth the wait!!!

I read this book because I wanted to know what was going to happen to this couple. I should have known. The two previous books I have rated 2 stars. This one didn't disappoint either. :(

So, points to mention.....
- The crying of both men and women constantly was just too much.
- The 'I love you's" was said so many times, I think they lost the meaning
of the words (more than 50 + times mentioned!)
- All the babies! They were popping out babies left, right and center!
- So much repetition.

God help me, but I will now be reading book 3.5 and 4. I've come this far...it can't get any worse, surely??

5 To Infinity and Beyond Stars

I received an ARC of this book from the fair KelEl in exchange for an honest review and I think to get me to quit stalking her. Ha...fat chance of that!

DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE READ BOOK 1 & BOOK 2. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE PISSED. AT YOURSELF NOT ME. I TRIED TO WARN YOU.

Oh My... In the name of all that is Kelly Elliott. This book will rock your world. You love KelEl because she has a cast of thousand. Much like that scene at the end of Blazing Saddles, where they are all dancing. Yes, that is how many characters she has. As I have said before..she tortures them all and her readers. Faithful is the story of Josh and Heather, but catches you up on all our old friends: Ari and Jeff, Ellie and Gunner, Amanda and Brad and introduces some new souls to be KelEl's literary playtoys. I have to tell you....at about 20% in...I was cussing KelEl. She could have a second career at Guantanamo Bay. But I don't do spoilers so be prepared for a review full of more holes and gaps than a second grader's smile.

Heather is a sweet southern girl. She is a school teacher and has some great friends. She has been in love with Josh for quite some time but they just can't seem to find smooth sailing. Josh is a reformed Man Ho who is a Typical Man Idiot. He cares for Heather but can not seem to stop effing up every 5 minutes. Even his mother wants to slap him. Often.

When last we left the fair Heather (in Saved/Book 2), she walked out on Josh yet again. Because he could not tell an uber-bitch to take a hike. Then he has a wreck and we are all left hanging. Faithful pick right up at the hospital. Where there is a new uber-bitch in town, Victoria. At the hospital ________ has happened. Yes, see, right there...a gap in the review. No spoilers. But know this was the first of several major cussing streaks that happened. The squirrels in my backyard are seriously concerned.

Josh and Heather must find a way to reconnect after all they have been through. They must find a way back to the love that they both know is there, but have been to stubborn/scared to embrace. Their courtship is a rollercoaster of Oh No He Didn't (Man Idiot Stuff) and Will She Just Let Him Talk and a bit of That Is So Sweet thrown in. But when they work...they work so well.

You're the air that I breathe, the light in my darkness, the hope of my future.

I'll love you for infinity...plus a little bit more.

In True KelEl Fashion we get all of Josh and Heather from courtship through HEA and then a little bit more. And we catch up with the very horny and fertile friends. The girls cuss too much. The boys have contests to see who can be the most romantic. They know each other secrets, care for each other's families and are just the friends you want when you need to kick someone's ass.

The next book, Cherished, Scott and Jessie's story will be out in January. I know I am looking forward a bit since I just finished the book that hasn't even come out yet....but I need it.

This is a definite must read. After you read the first two. You will Buzz Lightyear love it. To infinity and beyond.

There are enough reviews out there to tell you what's going on. But having all these POVs is exhausting. 10 POVs.. You read that correctly. There's this couple. Heather and Josh. Then there's Gunner, Ellie, Jeff, Ari, Brad, Amanda, and now Scott and Jessie. My goodness! It's all discombobulated 😂. Anyways, the "main couple" was ok. Heather was better here than in the last book. Josh wakes up with retrograde amnesia and doesn't remember Heather yet remembers the slutty nurse he dated 4 years ago in college. And of course he's kinda lusting over her. 🙄 He's feeling his old manwhore ways. But he feels this ultimate "connection" with Heather. Again we have electric shocks, and volts of "what is this?" 🙄 2 ow shenanigans because we must have unresolved angst here just for the hell of it. Anyways, back to slutty nurse. She sticks her tongue down Josh's throat and he was excited, but pushes her away because he feels it's wrong and sees poor Heather's face in his mind. But at least he didn't come while the ow was rubbing his dick. Was it cheating? Hmmm....what do you think? He doesn't necessarily remember Heather, but he still felt like he shouldn't subconsciously. So each reviewer will have their own opinion. But all the reviewers not mad at Tori I have questions for you. So you're ok with a professional acting this way and offering blowjobs on every other page? Hmmm... I judge you harshly. 🥴😂 HEA of course for the couple. Next book is Scott and Jessie. Seriously though these books are too long for what they are, and all these POVs take away from the main couple's storyline. It's not my preference, but I will finish because I'm not a quitter!! 🤣

Last, but not least. This series has way too much crying and sex in it. Every single chapter. Each scene is recycled as well. Everyone has the exact sex life 🤷. Also, never met any Texans this wimpy. Have no idea what's going on here. 🙃

I was sucked in to this new adult romantic chick lit with lots of secondary romances and sexy times. I liked the main plot but after awhile the side stories started taking over like a soap opera and things got repetitive especially the antagonist. I also got real tired of the phrase OMG. Josh and Heather's love is tested when he gets in a car accident and doesn't remember her.

I didn't read this series in order. This story starts with the car accident not the development of their relationship as stated in the description. It must have been a side story in a previous book.

I've been trying to think of how I should start this review. And honestly the line that keeps popping into my head is -
"That wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be."
Now let me explain that sentance lol. I love this series so I didn't think the book would be bad. What I thought would be bad is my condition after I finished reading Faithful. Kelly Elliott writes emotional books, and you get so sucked into the story that you start feeling those emotions with the characters. After I finished reading Saved, I was pretty much an emotional mess, and I expected to be like that while reading Faithful too. I pretty much prepared myself to be like this once I finished it,
[image error] photo tumblr_inline_mff9flfSCG1rtjbzy_zps28686245.gif

But I was more like this,
[image error] photo tumblr_inline_mm3binTVBS1qz4rgp_zps40ab529e.gif

Just a few sweet happy tears. Thank goodness lol.

I really enjoyed Josh and Heather's story. We've been watching their relationship develop in the other books and we finally get to see them find their happy ending. I loved how Heather started to stand up for heself more and god she had some awful bitches to deal with.
[image error] photo large_zpsf52b20c4.gif

How is it that these guys attract so many crazy ass bitches? Everytime we turn a page there is a new bitch who wants to cause trouble and needs a good smack. It would drive me insane, so those girls have my props for staying sane while they deal with them.

I had my good moments and my bad moments with Josh. Like the other guys he made some dumb choices when it came to those crazy bitches around him and it took him a bit to learn to just tell them to fuck off. In the end he was actually so much sweeter then I ever expected him to be. I think he definitely gave Gunner a run for his money in the romance department ;)

I really liked how much we got to see the other couples in this book. Each chapter had a different POV, and we got to see what the other couples were up to and what is happening in their lives. I really liked that, is was like I was reading a bunch of different stories. I would have liked a little more focus on Heather and Josh, but I love the other couples, so it didn't bug me to much.

The only bad thing I have to say about the book, is how often the guys cried in it. This might make me a bad person but I really didn't like how often they cried. The other 2 books had some male crying, but this one had it like A LOT I mean every time we turned around a guy was tearing up or out right crying about something. Like I said before Kelly Elliott books are super emotional so of course her characters are very emotional too. But it was like too much!!

So if you are avoiding starting this one because you were an emotional wreck after Saved, I will tell you that this one is much happier! I recommend reading this book, and this series! They are great, cute, emotional reads.

OMG I just finish to read the prologue from Faithful and I can tell you that this bitch Victoria it's going to be worst then Rebecca. I can see this book it's going to be so much pain for Heather, OMG poor Heather I hope Josh reward her with so much love❤❤ I can't wait 'til August

I already read this book and let me tell you that I love it!! Oh God, Josh you didn't disappoint me, you're a sweetheart! Love this series, definitely a MUST READ! You won't regret to spend you money on these ones but you must star with WANTED then SAVED and then this one!
