'The genius of man...the unique and extraordinary ability of the human mind' -Giannozzo Manetti
This book is exactly what it claims to be, not a detailed account of all interesting things in the world, but rather a brief 225 page (without the quizzes) book with 2-page sub-chapters for each topic. The purpose is to deliver brief information allowing the reader to pursue a more detailed study in his/her spare time on the topics that interested him/her most. Sometimes less is more, especially with topical books like these. Perfect for children (+12yrs) as well.
This is a good quick reference book covering many topics. I like the layout and the understandable scientific and cultural facts. It's a good book to have handy for a brief refresher of things most of us learned at some time or another.
Elizabeth King’s Know It All is and incredible book and highly recommend it to read. This book had a lot of facts in it that I didn’t know at first but know I know a lot about a lot of subjects and I think it is awesome. The best fact I learned would have to be the death of the sun and it happened about 4.57 billion years ago. I cant even wrap my head on how many thing have happened in that period of time. The setting would have to be all over the place because it is a little about everything and how things work and why they work that way. I would totally recommend you and your friends to read this book it will help you out a lot.
