Este manga es una adaptación del anime Psycho-Pass desde el POV de la Inspector Akane, una chica cuyas habilidades intelectuales la llevan rápidamente a ocupar dicho cargo.

En este mundo ‘utópico’, las personas viven bajo un sistema llamado Sybil, quien examina las habilidades y potenciales acciones de una persona. Gracias a ello, nadie se tiene qué preocupar de encontrar trabajo pues este sistema te asigna la tarea para la que mejor estés cualificado.

Por lo tanto, el crimen se reduce y se combate conforme al Coeficiente criminal: personas con un CC más allá de 150 son potenciales criminales y deberán de ser detenidos. Si éste número se incrementa, deberán de ser exterminados con la ayuda de una Dominadora, una pistola que únicamente utilizan los Inspectores y los Ejecutores.

Ahora bien, al ser el POV de Akane, vemos cómo ésta aprende sus responsabilidades como Inspector al estar a cargo de los Ejecutores (personas que rebasaron su CC y son potenciales criminales, pero qué, bajo un trato con la policía, ahora se dedican a ‘cazar’ a otros con las mismas cualidades), al mismo tiempo que resuelve casos extraños que han ocurrido recientemente.

Al parecer hay un sujeto que es inmune al ojo de Sybil y está haciendo de las suyas, proporcionando los medios para que otros cometan crímenes, sin mancharse directamente las manos.

En definitiva, este manga es una excelente adaptación del anime ya que guarda el estilo del mismo, pero yo recomiendo ambos formatos para tener una mejor idea de lo que va Psycho-Pass.

Este volumen consta de los capítulos 1 al 3.

No sabía que esperar, es muy interesante ver el quiebre mental de una persona que lo hace "potencial homicida", me encantó el desarrollo de este primer tomo y la dosis ligera del gore al ver que es lo que sucede cuando los "perros de caza" se encuentran a los delincuentes.

I enjoyed the story and the world in most of the parts, but it was kinda slow at some points and i did not like all of the characters. This has potential to get better and i will for sure continue.

After watching Season 1 of Psycho Pass on Netflix, I just had to go find the accompanying manga and check it out. Personally, I really like this story, the setting, the characters, the villain. Pretty much everything about it. I'll break it down and give each one a little more attention, as I usually do.

PLOT: In a futuristic world, the computer in charge Sibyl System, is able to read everyone's Psycho Pass, an indicator based on your moods, emotions and thought that you may one day commit a crime. It's very Minority Report, except that it's a computer doing the determining not three siblings with precognitive powers. Enter in an anomaly, Makishima Shogo, who despite being a devious, manipulating, practically evil man, never gets picked up by Sibyl and continues to wreak havoc. We follow the Inspectors and Enforcers of this world who try to uphold the law. In short, it's a story that is right up my alley and has all the makings of a great story.

PACING: The pacing is consistent, first it picks up, then it slows down for needed dialogue and exposition, then it picks up again. Because it's a detective-type story it can't be all action all the time. Also, because nobody believes Makishima Shogo is "real" (as most of them besides Kougami haven't even seen him), there's a lot of debate about the crimes being committed and if they're really being orchestrated by our antagonist. The pacing for this type of story is on point.

CHARACTERS: There's a bunch of characters, heck the main team alone consists of 4 Enforcers, 2 Inspectors, 1 Technician/Medical, and then our villain. I'm really going to focus on our protagonist, Tsunemori Akane and leading male Kougami Shinya. I don't really want to bring in knowledge from the anime as this is purely a review of the manga because the anime is actually farther along than the written form.

Akane: She was top of her class and wants to find out her purpose in life. Being that in her graduating class she was the only person to qualify for the Public Safety Dept. she decides that she will take that job. Her very first case tests her mettle as after the estranged man is killed by Sibyl (oh, that's right, it kills you), all of a sudden the hostage became a target because of her high stress levels. Kougami was all for shooting her but that conflicted with Akane's feelings about the situation (after all, the hostage wasn't doing anything wrong) and so to stop Kougami, Akane shot him with the paralyzer. It was fantastic character development and was the start of a very interesting relationship between her and Kougami. Personally, I like them together romantically but the chances of that happening are low (sadly). Akane really grows throughout the chapters as in the beginning her confidence is as paltry as her chances of hooking up with Kougami, but I see improvement.

Kougami: He used to be an Inspector until his Psycho Pass number escalated, and instead of seeking rehab, he was determined a latent criminal. However, he is allowed to be an Enforcer now. He has it out for Makishima Shogo for killing his Enforcer partner back when he was Inspector. Kougami now doesn't care about himself, or how high his number goes, and is willing to do anything in order to get the villain. He's ruthless, he's a hound (that's what Ginoza the other inspector calls him) but Akane makes him feel more like a person, more like a real detective. (This is another reason I love their relationship). Just like Akane's confidence is low and goes up, Kougami's personality fluctuates between sheer ruthlessness and humanity. He's a wonderful counterpart to Akane and helps her along as a detective.

SETTING: It's set in far future Japan and technology, and robots, and even androids run rampant. Real human emotion and free will don't exist. Personally, I love the setting and the story wouldn't work without it. The Sibyl System, and the citizens’ apathy are a creation of the world they live in.

OVERVIEW: I love the anime, and I really like the manga too. I really like how there are additional scenes how Akane became an inspector and got permission from her parents and really seeing what drives her.

This is one of my favorite manga I've read and also one of my favorite animes. If you've seen Minority Report or in general like futuristic detective stories you should give this manga a shot.

Un manga que contextualiza la vida de una joven que por su inteligencia logra entrar al trabajo y cargo que ella quiere.

Todo se sitúa en un mundo distópico en el que la maldad de las personas se miden con unas pistolas que indican si son o no objetivo para su detención.

Una historia entretenida y muy llamativa, que me entretuvo, y que espero seguir leyendo, ya que me intriga mucho uno de los personajes que es uno de los "perros de caza", criminales que atrapan criminales, que trabajan para la policía y que aquí en el primer tomo se muestran un poco, pero hay uno que sin duda está muy interesante.

In Inspector Akane Tsunemori geht es, wie es schon der Titel sagt, um die junge Inspectorin Tsunemori, die in einem Überwachungsstaat lebt, geleitet vom dem Sybil System - ein Computer. Ihr Job ist es latente Verbrecher festzunehmen, Menschen deren Psycho-Pass zu hoch ansteigt und ihnen ein Gewaltpotenzial voraussieht - aber sagt das auch alles über den Menschen aus?

Dieser Manga konnte mich ab der ersten Seite packen. Ich liebe futuristische Welten, die hier durch eine sehr moderne Welt (Stadt), beeindruckende Gebäude, Roboter und fortschrittliche Systeme dargestellt wird.
Es ist wie eine aufregende Detektivgeschichte aufgebaut, Akane bekommt Fälle zugewiesen, die sie mit ihrem Team bearbeiten muss. Sie ist immer auf der Suche nach Verbrechern, aber auch latente Verbrechern, Menschen die ein Verbrechen begehen könnten. Dabei gerät sie nicht selten an psychotische Personen und in eine Verfolgungsjagd, als auch brenzlige Situationen. Somit gibt es mehrere spannende Momente und man erfährt mehr und mehr über das System ... dabei fängt man an daran zu zweifeln.

Zwischen alle den aufregenden Situationen komme die Charaktere und die weiteren Handlungen nicht zu kurz, ganz im Gegenteil - das Tempo ist sehr angenehm und alles leicht nachzuverfolgen.
Akane Tsunemori ist eine Person, deren Psycho-Pass schwer zu trüben ist, sie scheint wie geschaffen für den Beruf zu sein.
Auch wenn sie der eigentliche Hauptcharakter ist und wir ihre Geschichte relativ von Anfang an mitbekommen, steht ihre Abteilung ebenso im Vordergrund des Mangas (4 Vollstrecker, eine Analytikerin und ein weiterer Inspector) und alle konnten mich bis jetzt begeistern. Sie sind richtig interessant und cool, von der aufreizenden Analytikerin bis zum hartgesottenen Vollstrecker (latente Verbrecher, die fürs System arbeiten), man will einfach mehr über sie lesen.

Außerdem gibt es durchaus Szenen, die etwas härter ausfallen, auch blutig und daher würde ich "Inspector Akane Tsunemori" Lesern ab 16 Jahren erst empfehlen.

Dieser Mystery Manga gehört bereits nach dem ersten Band zu meinen Favoriten aus dem Genre! Die verschiedenen, interessanten Charaktere, das futuristische Setting und das Sybil System ist ein anziehender Mix. Ich bin gespannt auf die Schattenseiten des Systems und besonders darauf, wie Akane mit der Situation umgehen wird - sie ist eine tolle Protagonistin!

Minority Report plus occupational prediction plus extreme quantified self. As usual, it’s about the line between predicting and causing, cameras and engines. Also the set-a-thief-to-catch-a-thief unavoidable corruption of police work.

Your phone gives you a score at all times. It’s not subjective wellbeing, since it can be clear even when you feel terrible. It’s how dangerous you are to society, or anyway to the predictor.

The first chapter immediately pokes holes in the system - the kidnapping victim driven to arson suicide by fear of the system’s self-fulfilling judgments.

Very satire-worthy weapons (guns with onboard psychiatric evaluation, which won’t fire at anyone except those it ranks as criminal or potentially criminal). They show one and only one nice thing about this future (programmable matter walls, so you can have breakfast in a different historical room every day) before getting into the greasy monotonous dystopian bs that you came for.

Philip K Dick’s 1956 achievement with predicting/hallucinating an algorithmic society is becoming only more impressive.

After catching up with Psycho-Pass movies, season 2 and season 3 but you still need more contents: here comes manga adaptation to the rescue. A dystopian world with a strong female lead, partnered with a strong-headed male, a team, a villain who likes to mention dystopian books. The manga pretty much tells in the same story as in the anime. There are changes here and there also some additional background of several characters. The art style is enjoyable, makes me want to watch season 1 again. Can't wait to see the rest of the series turn out to be!

Review for the whole series.

A decent adaptation of the anime- which I prefered- but no more than that. The plot sticks to the episodes and the art is functional but not outstanding.

If you’ve seen the anime there’s honestly no real need to read this series. If not, the plot remains good, cyberpunk with a strong (Philip K.) Dickian tone, interesting characters- sadly a bit underdeveloped in some cases, and some thrilling action. I’d really like to read the same in a novel form.

This being said I’d still suggest you watch the anime.

This is the manga adaptation of the anime Psycho Pass that I loved almost immediately. This story was inspired by Philip Dick’s The Minority Report. I think the best medium for this story remains to be in the anime format, as I did enjoy the movements and animation of the fight scenes and also the equipment.

Still the themes of morality, and humanity is explored here. Akane’s slow character development remains to be my favourite. This story can be extremely dark! Just be warned.

Ho finalmente deciso di prendere in mano questa serie che avevo recuperato tre anni fa, complice anche il fatto che l'anime sarà rimosso da netflix a fine mese. Nel 2020 avevo già letto la serie dedicata agli anni da ispettore di Shinya Kogami, che qui ritroviamo in veste di esecutore.
Il Sybil System. Il sistema di intelligenza artificiale capace di analizzare in maniera oggettiva e perfetta la mente umana. Capace di stabilire il coefficiente di criminalità di una persona - un semplice dato numerico ma di vitale importanza, visto che rischia di rovinare la vita anche a chi non ha mai commesso un reato in passato, visto che porta alla luce eventuali tendenze criminali latenti. Un sistema che stabilisce quale sia il percorso professionale di ognuno. Un sistema che ha contribuito alla diminuzione del tasso di criminalità. Un sistema che ha annullato qualsiasi forma di libertà personale o di pensiero indipendente.
La giovane Akane decide di unirsi al dipartimento di pubblica sicurezza in qualità di ispettore. Alle sue dipendenze (e a quelle di Ginoza), ci sono quattro esecutori, i cani da caccia chiamati a trovare ed eliminare elementi pericolosi - criminali latenti che lavorano al servizio dello stato. Due li abbiamo incontrati nella serie precedente, Shinya e il paparino. È molto interessante vedere l'approccio di Akane a questo lavoro, molto diverso da quello di Ginoza: in teoria, ispettori ed esecutori sono tenuti a seguire le indicazioni del Sybil System senza obiettare. Ma Akane si troverà spesso in conflitto con questi ideali, optando per decisioni non in linea con le previsioni del Sybil. Una giustizia personale, per così dire, che non vede solo bianco e nero, ma anche quello che c'è in mezzo. Uno atteggiamento che la porta ad avere un rapporto meno conflittuale e più collaborativo con gli esecutori, visto che tende a trattarli come esseri umani e non come meri cani da caccia. Con buona pace di Ginoza, che non apprezza.
Sono certa che nei prossimi volumi ne sapremo di più.

Es de los mejores mangas que he leído en mucho tiempo. La acción se sitúa en un mundo ligeramente futurista. Hay máquinas que miden la probabilidad de que la gente cometa un crimen. Con esta tecnología se ha reducido mucho el número de crímenes, puesto que las personas son detenidas antes de que puedan cometerlos. Pueden ocurrir tres cosas: que acaben encerradas, que asistan a terapia para que disminuya el índice de criminalidad o que se conviertan en los asistentes de los inspectores debido a que se cree que estas personas serán capaces de predecir de manera más rápida qué haran los infractores que se dan a la fuga. La protagonista, Akane Tsunemori, acaba de entrar a formar parte del grupo de inspectores. Según va conociendo a los "delincuentes" con los que trabaja cuestiona cada vez más este sistema.

Dejando a un lado el punto Minority Report, en el primer tomo de este manga se presentan dos casos, de los cuales se resuelve el primero. Supongo que el segundo se resolverá en el próximo tomo. En el primer caso no se ve mucha investigación, pues Akane se incorpora al equipo justo en el momento en el que están buscando al criminal en un edificio. Sin embargo, el segundo caso debe resolverse sin hacer uso de la tecnología de lectura de criminalidad porque la fábrica en la que se ha producido el asesinato es un lugar en el que no hay ni acceso a internet para que nadie pueda afectar a los drones que fabrican.

De momento, el que más me ha gustado es el segundo caso. No es sólo que se muestre completo, sino que es el que tiene más investigación y misterio. Empecé a leer este manga por el argumento policial y no tanto por la tecnología futurista. Además, tengo curiosidad por saber qué les pasó a los cuatro "delincuentes" que trabajan para los inspectores.

Inspector Akane Tsunemori is an adaptation of the popular anime series Psycho-Pass. The first volume covers roughly the first three episodes of the show, sketching a dystopian future Japan where society is ordered by the electronic Sibyl System, people are judged by their psychological make-up and police are authorized to exterminate those deemed "latent criminals." Into this Philip K. Dick scenario comes Akane Tsuenmori, a brilliant, ambitious young inspector whose ideals clash with the dirtiness of her job and the cynicism of her colleagues. In particular, she forms a love-hate relationship with Shinya Kogami, a hardboiled "enforcer" demoted from his job as inspector after a traumatic case clouded his psycho-pass. Like the anime, the manga series cribs heavily from Dick, William Gibson's cyberpunk novels and crime dramas like Silence of the Lambs and L.A. Confidential, probing the usefulness of idealism in a corrupt and despairing world, capped off with extreme violence and fraught moral dilemmas. Like Gen Urobuchi's other famous anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, it leavens its darkness with an undercurrent of hope and humanism, embodied beautifully by Akane's unwillingness to abandon her principles in the face of despair. Miyoshi Hikaru's manga version is a faithful adaptation with a few fresh interstitial scenes sketching Akane's background and fleshing out some side characters. While this volume is largely scene-setting, it effectively brings viewers into the world of the Sibyl System and displays the sharp character writing and cerebral conflicts that made the anime so effective. Volume Two, presumably, covers the best arc of the anime and I'm hoping to read it soon.

Salah satu adaptasi manga dari anime yang masuk TOP 10 ANIME YANG MIDE SUKA, lol.

"Yang membasmi orang jahat seharusnya juga orang jahat juga." Wa gila ini kehidupan macam apa ya. Udah semua diatur mesin, cara pandang orang juga sudah melenceng banget. Inilah distopia favorit saya di tahun 2013.

Pyscho Pass ini punya karakter bagus banget, gila, sexy, pokok enak banget dilihat mata dan dikomentari pilihan hidupnya. Design karakter juga bagus (Hikaru Miyoshi mangakanya Katekyo Hitman Reborn, gak nonton dan baca juga sih, salah satu anime/manga dengan fandom yang lumayan besar di jamannya).

Gen Urobuchi, penulisnya, terkenal sebagai script writer sadist jadi wajar jika oleh M&C dilabelin 21+ walau toh adegan kekerasannya udah di-downgrade banget ketika masuk Indonesia. Adegan dua "hound" cewek di ruang kerja dokter itu juga dihilangin, haha.

I haven't watched the original anime, so this is based only on the manga adapatation.
Liked this a lot! Very interesting world of future and concept on criminal control that gives a lot of food for thought on privacy, thoughts vs actions, control over one's own life etc. The art is nice, and story was paced well at least in this first volume. Akane is sympathetic and while talented, she's still rookie and has a lot to learn and I thought there was a good balance of these traits in her. Other characters were merely introduced here but I'm sure we'll learn more on them later but they seem interesting already.
Sadly the print quality of the Finnish edition is messy. I hope this won't be a problem in the later volumes. Usually print looks fine in Finnish manga books but lately there have been a couple of low quality publications.

Akane trafia z idealnego świata, w którym dotychczas przebywała, pomiędzy ludzi wyjętych spod prawa, ale nadal pracujących dla rządu. To Biuro Bezpieczeństwa Ministerstwa Zdrowia i Opieki Społecznej, którego obecnie głównym zadaniem jest łapanie osób zwanych utajonymi kryminalistami. To potencjalni złoczyńcy, którzy mają wysoki współczynnik zbrodni.

Tak samo wysoki mają Egzekutorzy, którzy współpracują z Inspektorami. Dlaczego są oni zatrudnieni, a nie są poddawani resocjalizacji i terapii w odosobnieniu? Cóż, Sybilla miała pewnie ku temu jakieś powody, na razie dla Akane nieznane. Czy dziewczyna poradzi sobie z trudnym zadaniem jakim jest nieocenianie sytuacji za pomocą emocji, logiki, a tylko bezdusznego systemu? I czy jej sprzeciw co do zasad rządzących jej światem cokolwiek może tu wnieść?

Al igual que lo que opine del anime, los primeros capítulos están cargados de mucha información que son de relevancia para la trama, pero a pesar de eso logra que uno se interese.

Yo de hecho no soy tan fan de las historias policiacas, pero esta esta muy bien lograda por la mezcla que tiene con ciencia ficción, me gusto que anda muy cerca de encontrarse en un entorno utópico/distópico que por cierto está muy bien logrado.
Las ilustraciones son bastante agradables a la vista, logra verse que se esta en un entorno futurista sin perder mucho detalle.

Sobra decir que voy a continuar con la historia.

Psycho pass siempre va a ser mi anime y manga de ciencia ficción y polis preferido, tiene de todo. Personajes bien hechos y pensados, un villano, qué aunque en el primer tomo no se muestra mucho porque este solo se centra en darte el contexto de la sociedad, ya empieza a crear curiosidad. Tiene una trama súper interesante porqué básicamente los humanos dependen al 100% de una inteligencia artificial que juzga a los humanos y la protagonista es de las pocas personas en cuestionarse si de verdad esta IA debe ser obedecida totalmente. Acción, crimen, misterio y amo los dibujos son de los mejores. Son solo 6 tomos y no quiero terminarlos todos :(

Manga ini merupakan adaptasi dari anime Psycho-Pass yg sudah terkenal sebelumnya. Artwork Miyoshi sensei cukup mumpuni utk menghadirkan versi manganya. Berkisah ttg Akane Tsunemori, seorang gadis yang kemampuan intelektualnya dengan cepat membawanya untuk menduduki posisi sebagai inspektur di KKTK.

Di dunia 'utopis' ini, orang hidup di bawah sistem yang disebut Sybil, yang memeriksa kemampuan dan tindakan potensial seseorang. Berkat ini, tidak ada yang perlu khawatir mencari pekerjaan karena sistem ini memberi Anda tugas yang paling sesuai dengan kualifikasi Anda.

Ich fand den Manga wirklich richtig cool, was vor allem an dem Weltentwurf lag! Wir finden uns in der Zukunft wieder, in der Technologie ein sicheres Leben für alle Menschen garantiert. Jeder Mensch trägt nämlich einen Psycho Pass, der stetig seine mentale Verfassung speichert und überprüft. Wer einen bestimmten Wert überschreitet, wird als "latenter Verbrecher" in Gewahrsam genommen. Aber in diesem scheinbar perfekten System, gibt es auch Schattenseiten...Unsere Protagonistin Akane hat diese bereits kennengelernt und erste Zweifel gezeigt. Ich bin echt gespannt wie es weitergehen wird!

The story idea had a lot of potential, I just feel like...the author could have done more or better things with it.
The story is very depressing/sad/ heavy and has a lot of gore and violence depiction, for my taste way too much. Also In a way the story felt too short, because there were still unanswered questions about how the sybil system came to be, and I really would like to know, how and why the maker of the system decided to use those people to make the system and how they made the rest of the people subordinate to the system.
I lIke the drawing style.

Que gran sorpresa este manga, me ha encantado la historia, bien construida, aún siendo muy cortitos cada capitulo. Es un tema complejo el dejar TODO en manos de Sybil, un mecanismo que sabe que te hace feliz... ¿?
Akane me ha impresionado su crecimiento en estas páginas, como comprende que es más de lo que deciden y esperan de ella. Estoy muy al pendiente de cómo llegó a ser a ser un ejecutor Shinya.
😓 Sufro mucho con la violencia y cuando es en imágenes 🥺🥺 por eso menos ☆

Es bastante apegado al anime, aunque con un poco más de censura en ocasiones (la violación del principio) o más gráfica a veces (los asesinatos en la fábrica).

Me gustan las escenas extras, como los papás de Akane, el día que recibió sus resultados del examen para trabajar como inspectora y su entrenamiento. Sin embargo, me falló en que el inicio del anime es super potente y esa escena inicial entre Kou y Makishima es insuperable, y aquí es solo Makishima citando a Orwell. Bastante meh en comparación.

Me gusto la premisa de la historia, se me imagino un poco a Minority Report.
En la actualidad la incidencia de crímenes ha disminuido gracias a la interpretación del aura o del Psyco pass, el cual si llega a tener niveles elevados son señal para la "policía" para atrapar al futuro delincuente.

Akane Tsunemori es la nueva inspectora que ha llegado y parece que será la que cambie la situación pues se cuestiona si las maneras en que actúan son las correctas

Súper adictivo! Creo que es unos de los mejores manga que he leído hasta el momento.

Me adentré a Psycho- Pass a ciegas, pues no tenía conocimiento alguno sobre la trama ni sobre el animes y solo puedo decir que fue una grata sorpresa, me intriga mucho saber más sobre los CI y el funcionamiento para detectar a los criminales.
