First Year Latin, Revised Edition

The first revision of First Year Latin differs chiefly in the addition of short selections of Roman Life and the insertion of several easy Latin readings; the earlier introduction of verb forms; the placement of the subjunctive mood last for optional teaching; and finally, a modification of sentences and vocabulary in many of the lessons. The illustrations, more numerous than in the first edition, have been chosen as an essential part of the teaching material.
