Their authoritative presence is felt before anything else. My heart skips a beat and my blood runs cold. They’re here.
The voluminous cloaks cover their bodies entirely and their faces are mostly concealed by their hoods. Standing with their broad shoulders squared and hands tucked behind their backs, they emanate sheer masculinity and dominance.
His baritone voice whispers, and his breath burns hot against the shell of my ear. His tone is gentle, but there’s no doubt in my mind that his words are a command.
Gather and present yourself. This is the offering ...
To Be Claimed is a dark paranormal romance collection with high heat and suspense to keep you on edge. This collection features Wounded Kiss, Gentle Scars & Primal Lust
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
I love the new world that Ms. Winters created…. Werewolf’s- Vampires- Witches & of course Humans… As I predicted Ms. Winters also brought in the witches & sorcery into this installment, we also find corruption running rampant through There are 3 interwoven love stories in this Installment, & each one is completely different from the next … The story continues right where we left off in the last Installment, …
Wounded Kiss This is a fun start to a new series from Willow Winters
Fair warning you might not be used to her writing paranormal Romance, if you love her writing Style it does not matter what category the read is in
This is technically a two-in-one book about two different females’ stories that are best friends. Who had not had the most perfect life’s per se, they both had harsh life growing up once they found each other they became Fast Friends! Now their life will be set on journey neither one would have suspected
Due to the town’s peace treaty, the town gets protection from vampires, witches & other shifters every year Shadow Falls prepares an offering. All women between 19-21 have to participate. It is all part of the town’s treaty with the shifters. This will be Grace & Lizzie’s first year
Grace is chosen by the Alpha, while Lizie is chosen not by one, but by two betas. Caleb & Dom, are both her mates
There are so many difference things that I enjoy about this read, but here are A few things that I really enjoyed the most about this Read is the fact that we have a touch of everything between the fact of we have alpha male another male that has a dark side to him another male that has passionate side to him Gentle Scars So, we pretty much pick up where we left off in Wounded Kiss
In this particular installment we find, the Alpha (Devin ) Werewolf mated with a human female(Grace);two Betas ( Caleb & Dom ) Werewolves mated with a latent wolf ( Lizzie ) … And we even got a Vampire in the mix (Veronica)
Careful what you ask for- Grace asked Devin to share more of himself with her… So, he did, and your heart will go out for Devin…. I know his story broke my heart
As for Dom and Lizzie’s past, I believe that’s going to take bit more time for them to open up to each other
To say that I was surprised to see Veronica and Vince as fated mates is putting it mildly… but once you get past the initial shock, they are my favorite couple
Primal Lust
There is just so much going on in this book I don’t really want to break it down too much & spoil it for you Grace & Devin,……. With Grace embracing her new place within the pack and moving forward in her relationship with Devin a sense of belonging and peace comes into her life Lizzie, Dom & Caleb, I think that what I most love about these three is that Lizzie’s mates are opposite in so many ways. One hard and savage, the other a skilled hunter with deadly sex appeal, but they share one thing in common, their love for her and their need to heal her agony.
Veronica & Vince Vince takes steps to try to teach Veronica to trust him. He does something that could make or break their relationship. I have to admit they have their ups and downs but she knows that he will love her and take care of her no matter what. She is consumed with the thoughts of drinking the tainted blood to see if she can become human.
The To Be Claimed saga by Willow Winters is three books of the saga combined. This includes Wounded Kiss, Gentle Scars and Primal Lust. This pulled me in from the very beginning, starting with the offering. I loved every single moment of this book.
I love paranormal shifter romance books. So when I realized one of my favorite authors jumped into this world of course I had to read it. I’m dying for the fourth book, Broken Fate. I need to know what happens next.
This series is different from other werewolf romance books I’ve read. I love the world Willow brought to life with these characters. The dynamics of everyone’s relationship and the difference in them; they all endured some form of trauma. You get so many POV’s, which I love because we get a view of all the relationships. You have Devin and Grace, then Dom, Lizzie, and Caleb together, plus Veronica and Vince. Plus, you have, my favorite, Lev (Devin’s brother) who needs a mate as well, I just love him. (If your looking, I volunteer as tribute 😉🤣)
This series jumps into the world of werewolves, vampires, witches and warlocks. The way this series comes together is amazing. If your looking for some fast-paced, smutty, steamy fun, then you’ll love this.
This book combines the first three books in the ‘To be claimed’ series by Willow Winters. BookTok made me buy it and it seems in this case, it didn’t disappoint me at all. It was also one of my first werewolf romances and I’m interested to read more in that genre.
In this story we follow the story of Grace and Lizzy, who attend the yearly offering and are chosen by the werewolves as their mates. It takes a while for the main plot to set in, but I was hooked from the beginning.
When it comes to the characters, I started out really liking Grace but over the course of the story, she was annoying and I didn’t like how she tried to be in everyone's business. My start with Lizzy was a little more rocky but the more I read about her and her mates, I liked her and in the end this turned out to be my favorite part of the story.
Everything felt like it was on a surface level and I would have loved to get a little more into the depths of this world and the relationships the different characters form, not only with their mates but with each other as a group.
i would gladly offer myself up as a willing mate if i was given the chance because these wolves ??? yeah i’m down bad 😍
honestly going into this i had no clue what to expect 😭 i was ready for some shifter smut but then i got hit with the mfm relationship and fell down the rabbit hole 🧎🏻♀️ i absolutely loved each couple and want to jump into “to be fated” right away omg !!
this is a dark romantasy, werewolves, vampires, witches, three couples (mf, mf, mfm), treaties, mystery, biting, marking, branding, primal play, in heat, breeding kink, blood play, brat taming, consent checks, dub con / non con, sexual assaulted (not between any main characters), bdsm elements, multiple povs (seven), complete series of three books 🐺🩸🦇🌙🔮✨
what started out as a yearly offering where the wolves of shadow falls may claim their mate, turns out to be the last night of their normal lives for grace and lizzie. grace didn’t know much about the paranormal beings around her. she was basically thrown into the role of being the alpha’s mate. and lizzie’s backstory is one that’s trauma filled. she had a hard life growing up and her only source of comfort is her best friend grace 🫀 these girls’ life completely turned around when they found out their fated mates are finally bringing them home. but that’s not where the plot ends 👀 there’s a bigger mystery at play and it all starts with the vampires, witches, and the tainted blood. there is a group out there infiltrating with the blood that’s poisoning the vampires consuming it without knowledge. allies becomes enemies and friends fall out of trust in each other. the pack has to get to the bottom of it even if it before it goes too far 🖤
oh my god where do i even begin talking about these couples 🥹
i think my ranking so far is: veronica and vince caleb, lizzie, and dom devin and grace
i absolutely loved the pacing in the beginning but when it got towards the middle i feel like time jumped but it really didn’t at all ? idk how to explain it lol. i feel like it just went a bit too fast with no further details / missing plot at some points. i still gobbled this up so fast however !! i think i was just really invested in all of these couples and what was going on in their minds to pay much attention to the actual plot 😂 i definitely want to read “to be fated” and see where this goes !! the ending in this book was so fast honestly i couldn’t even wrap my head around it.
this was definitely more smut than plot so if you’re looking to binge a hot shifter complete series then absolutely jump into this !!
i’m completely obsessed with these couples 🖤 they’re each so different with unique backstories and it’s just super interesting to see how they grow together. devin’s pack only got bigger and i can’t wait to be back with them again 🥰
I feel that I should start by saying thank you Willow Winters and team for allowing me to get an arc copy of this book... especially when this review was two month late.
I have been obsessed with Winters and every book that she has allowed me to read as an ARC reader, and this one was as advertised. Werewolf porn. And it was exactly just that. One of the "better" werewolf romances I have read, but still... maybe I am just not a werewolf type of girl.
If you are looking for a book that is literally just sex, this is the book for you. I don't think there was a single solid plot / story line in this book except for when one is snuck in, in the third installment of the book (third book of the trilogy). But by that time... it was hard for me wanting to care about this... battle between werewolves, vampires, (one or two witches that were mentioned maybe once) and the supernatural authority.
This book followed three couples: Devon and Grace, the alpha and his mate - me not convinced that Grace actually liked him outside of sex. Lizzie, Dom and Caleb, the two betas and their mate - both men somehow helping Lizzie out of her childhood trauma which stemmed from werewolves, by having sex with her at the same time. And finally, Vince and Veronica, the werewolf and vampire - who had steamy sex (ngl, I enjoyed their story line the most even though they were introduced in book two) and also past trauma.
I really wanted this trilogy to be about strong alphas and their mates, coming together and healing one another and their fears and trauma... including the opportunity to explore Veronica and Lizzie's trauma, but instead, we got magical and therapeutic werewolf dick that seemed to heal all.
Nothing wrong with the story, just nothing right with it either for me personally.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
If you like dumb, weak women this is the book for you. FMCs are so annoying. Audio version narrators do a decent job despite the story.
I like and have no problem with spice. Most of the books that I read have lots of spice. When it is used as a filler/story lengthener or tries to make up for a lack of plot, it is annoying and boring.
There have been quite a few books that I did not finished. There have been a few that I regretted ever reading. This one is in a whole other category. I'm not triggered by the content in general. Most of the books that I read are darkrom which includes dom/sub and much more intense situations. This one is on the ridiculous side more than the offensive. Unless one is triggered by bad plots, which I'm not sure how much of a plot is in this book.
Some vague spoilers below - nothing that will give away the story outcome.
This book had it al! It’s a paranormal fantasy with werewolves shifters, vampires, witches etc. It was hot, sexy, spicy but also romantic and sweet AND IT HAD FATED MATES!!!
I absolutely loved this book! It’s Wounded Kiss, Gentle Scars & Primal Lust combined in one book. I had the pleasure to receive this one as an ARC and I’m so happy with it, I absolutely devoured it.
The writing style was amazing, the spice was immaculate (I loved that every couple has different kinks and they weren’t all the same, that would have been a bit boring but it wasn’t at all!!) and the story was very intriguing!
At the beginning I wasn’t very fond of the storyline of Veronica & Vince but they started to grow on me and at the end, I love them as much as the others!
I can’t wait to see what the other books in this series will bring! I can feel that there is A LOT that can be to told still. I love that book 4 is about Jude since we haven’t read a lot about him yet and can’t wait where the storyline of all the couples go from here.
Everything Willow Winters writes reads like crack and everything she touches is amazing!! I would defenitely recommend this one just make sure to check the trigger warnings.
I read the first two books a few years ago—the timing for a reread was perfect! Just in time/during the spooky season 👻 I didn't read the last book in this trilogy until now. It was a good wrap-up of all the couples from this saga/trilogy, but, I felt that there were a few things left unfinished. I wonder (and hope) Willow Winters might consider writing more books/standalones set in this universe. I'm looking forward to reading Broken Fate!
What to expect:
- Werewolves 🐺 - Vampires 🧛♂️🧛♀️ - Witches/sorcerers 🧙♀️ - Fated Mates ❤️ - All the smut and spice 🔥
I absolutely adored this series!! I loved the different POVs and how you got to view the story from the different perspectives.
I don’t read a lot of paranormal romance (I have no idea why!) but I love it! Werewolves, vampires, and magic come together in this one and it’s tense and fantastic!
I also really enjoyed how the men are so devoted to their mates but they somehow mess up their initial interactions and getting them to understand what’s happening.
I’m ready for the next book in this series because I want to know where everyone ends up!
To be claimed is the collection of a 3 books series together in one cover. Included inside is Wounded kiss, Gentle Scars and Primal Lust. This follows Grace, Lizzie, Devin, Caleb, Dom, Vince & Veronica. I promise its an easy read even with all of those characters, as they are focused on individually throughout the book.
Grace & Lizzie are best friends just turning 19, theyre out of the system and living together, finally getting to live life the way they want. The town they live in has a protection order on it, a deal made a long time ago between humans and werewolves. Once a year, the women of the town must ‘walk’ before the werewolves. An ‘Offering’. If youre between 19-21 then you walk that year. Alpha Devins fated mate is Grace, and Caleb & Dom are both mated to Lizzie. There are bumps in the road though as the girls come to terms with leaving their lives behind. Learning how the werewolves live, and what it means to be a mate. The heat was particularly ‘enjoyable’ to read. Willows smut is *chefs kiss*. And throwing in why choose 🙌🏼 Thank you!! The past & everything thats going on around them, made the plot so good, I was hooked. Werewolf smut is like a dirty little secret of mine. I love it! I loved the power play within each couple too. Vince & Veronica come in later in the book, Vince is a part of Devins pack but Veronica is a Vampire. Oh Willow, you aim to please. These two were brilliant. The big bad wolf acting like a puppy & Veronica is BADASS.
If you like paranormal/shifter/werewolf/vampire, virgin fmc, why choose, broken characters, alpha-holes, spicy, dual pov (we get everyones) then please pick this up!!
To be Claimed was a book I didn’t know I would love. I’m not a huge fan of paranormal books so when I was asked to be an ARC reader, I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy the book as much as other books written by Winters. To my surprise, I LOVED THIS BOOK. This book is a saga; 3 books combined into one and in true Willow Winters fashion, we’re left wanting more. I loved being able to flow from one story into the next! I can’t wait for the rest of the story to see what happens to this pack!
This book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! 5/5 stars for all the spice. The only reason this book got 4/5 stars from me is because I really couldn’t stand Vince and Veronica’s relationship. It screamed “soap opera” to me and I could have done with less of it. Veronica was this bad-ass vampire in the beginning of the story and at the end seemed to lose herself. Maybe she’ll find herself in the next book, but for now I maintain that I could do without the insecurity and woah-is-me attitude. I want the dominatrix vamp back!
I loved the different point of views this book is written from and I especially love that those different views are also from different worlds! Werewolves, humans, vampires, oh my! You get a great view of everyone’s relationships!
Overall, I LOVED this book. And I can’t wait to devour the next book in the series! Willow has set up a whole new world and I can’t get enough of it!
*I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, this review is of my own opinions*
Earlier this year I made it completely through the first 2 books in this omnibus. I was mood reading shifter/Fated mates on the chapter sites *you know how you get sucked in Then, I found this collection I enjoyed the first book. The second was not for me, but I finished and began the 3rd story. I was hoping to get some answers and closure....it just wasn't for me. It sent me into such a slump. DNF'd around 90% in.
I can't get enough of the heat and attraction in this novel! 😍 Willow wastes no time getting to the spicy details and keeps pulling you back in for more. This has just the right balance of everything you want. I can't wait for the stories of these characters to continue.
I enjoyed this paranormal romance. There are werewolves, vampires and witches that are well written and have points of difference so they don’t feel standard PNR characters. There is a diversity of relationship type: fated mate, MMF, female debut…and so many POVs so each story feels interesting and personal. This is the first three books and I’m very keen for book 4 in September!
Reminds me of the writing style of Fifty Shades of Grey: that bad! I am not sure what the story was. The only character worth liking and getting to know their backstory and what the future holds for them was Veronica. This book was questionable to say the least.
I can’t live when you die. I don’t want to. I don’t want this. A life without you isn’t one worth living.
Thoughts:💡 Do you remember the KU shifter smut from authors TS Joyce, Suzanne Wright, Mina Carter, Cylia Kyle, and Dana Marie Bell. They were full of instalove tropes and like 90% smut. 🧐
Well, I for one loved them and have fond memories of reading them at inappropriate times and inappropriate places. So this lovely book felt like a blast from the past.
Now, I understand that it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. While I was surfing the pages of dubatchery in the KU library many of my fellow nerds were reading trads, to each their own. What I will say though is that you can’t come at me for plot holes in my dirty little shifter smut if you like ACOTAR, #sorrynotsorry
So what’s the run down on this one? Well it goes a little like this… Two besties live the hard life in a world run by supes (paranormals not heroes). Every year all the single ladies 💃🏻 have to line up and walk in front of a group of shifters. Because… Those shifters provide the whole town protection from the bad supes in exchange for a little sum’ sum’, aka they get to pick a mate. So these two besties be freak’n, but the shifters there that night pulled one of those “Me Smell Mate, You Mine” deals, and for the first time in over 100 years the shifters picked some townies for a mate. The rest of the story is about who picked whom, who rejected whom, and just how they were all gonna get their freak on. Then through in a rival pack, some witches, a vamp or two and some oddly modern drama for a world so divided and obscured by supernaturals keeping their deets on the download ans you’ve got yourself this fun little story.
✨Note✨You should know that this book is sort of like three books in one. Most of the characters stay the same, with the addition of a few newcomers, but it was originally published under three different titles. Wounded Kiss Gentle Scars Primal Lust

Oohhh.. Unpredictable, mysteriously seductive.. A stunning starter canvas for this series . 😍😍😍
✅Shifter/ Werewolves. ✅Destined mates and secrets galore. ✅🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ohhhh...Even after having read the blurb I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But oh my... Ms. Winters I'm absolutely in love with this series just reading this first book.
It all starts so mysteriously, I was wide eyed, not knowing what was going on. Grace and lizzie are best friends. Both brought up in foster homes. But it has been especially bad for lizzie. The past that she doesn't like to talk about.
There's a tradition in the town of shadow Falls wherein each year there's an offering where girls are offered up to werewolves but only if they are chosen then would they have to go with them.
But in a century and a half, there's never been a woman who's chosen. So when Grace and lizzie come of age and have to partake in this tradition. They think it'll be nothing and before they know it, they'll be back home.
The build up to that moment was oh so good. I was both nervous, yet wanting to find out what was going to happen.
Little did Grace and Lizzie know that their entire lives would be completely changed after that tradition. Things they didn't know, secrets and so many things will be made known to them.
Oh my... The werewolves were so heart melting and freaking gorgeous and truly caring folks. But there's something at work here and grace and lizzie are not ready to accept their fates as of yet. But what they don't realise is that they really don't have a choice.
Oh my... I'm so freaking intrigued and can't wait to dive into the next book in this series. Loved loved freaking loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙨 #2
This series has intrigued me right from book 1 and remains to do so. After book 2, there are now all the more questions to be answered for.
We get to meet Veronica in this one. She's dark and alluring, a vampire and we find that she is also Vince's mate.
Vince can't wait to see his mate now that he has not only sensed her but seen her too. But he has his duties to his alpha and his pack first.
When he follows her scent and finds her amidst an attack, he goes to her rescue only finding she doesn't actually need it.
Veronica is a woman who needs control and Vince has to decide if he can shred his strong wolf persona and submit to his mate to have her. It was fun watching this different dynamic for sure.
There's also grace and Devin struggling to accept each other's differences in the sense that Grace wants Devin to be more open towards her and Devin wants her to simply trust him.
Then there's the trio of lizzie and Dom and Caleb... And oh my goodness... HOTNESS AMPLIFIED... 😳😳😍😍😍. The Chemistry between these trio is freaking BLAZING FIRE FOR SURE. But I also liked the fact that they are also helping lizzie to not think about herself as broken.
Then there's something going on. A conspiracy of vampires that Devin and his pack find out. Who is behind this and why do they want to do this. Not only that Devin has to also decide about Veronica and her proposition from the vampires.
Amongst all this they have to smooth their image with the humans and cool down the aftereffects of the chaos that happened during the offering.
So much is going on but before I knew it the book was done and I was like I need more especially after that claiming between Vince and Veronica where things totally changed for them both and what would happen with them. Yep.. So many questions. I already need the next book, like right now. 😭😅 Loved this one. ❤️❤️
𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙪𝙨𝙩 #3
This is the third book in this werewolf series and as this is an interconnected story, it's necessary to read the previous books in this series.
I've fallen for this series right from that first book as all the characters pull you. Even though this one has multiple POVs, this one mainly focuses on Vince and Veronica.
Imagine a werewolf having his fated mate as a vampire and the complications that come with it and that's what we see in this one. Not only there's trouble rising with Veronica's coven and but also someone quietly stirring a huge strategy that might lead to destruction.
I loved getting different sides of the story and also getting to see Devin & Grace and Lizzy with Dom and Caleb.
There's lots of spice filled times in this one and also with all different couples. 🔥🥵
That last battle was just amazing and I was reading wide-eyed all the adrenaline filled action scenes and dramatics that were going on.
I loved this boxset of the first three books in this series. Below are my reviews of each.
Wounded Kiss Book 1 Wow! I have never read a paranormal/shifter book before and I enjoyed this one. I had no idea what to expect; only that I love all of Willow's books and felt this one would be as intriguing as all her other books. I liked the story line and found myself getting pulled in quickly. Grace and Devin seem as though they are going to be a great pair. I look forward to reading more about them. Lizzie is an interesting character. She definitely had me wondering about her background and what has happened to her in her past. I look forward to more of this series. The chemistry as passion is told in true Willow fashion..
Gentle Scars Book 2 I am really enjoying this new to me type of genre. There is so many moving parts to the stories of all the characters. In this book we are introduced to a few more. There is Vince who we met in the first book but not much was known about him and then there is is mate; Veronica, who is very different from others. She is not like Grace or Lizzie. I do not want to give away who she is so I'll leave it at that. There is so much for a reader. A bit of mfm, B/s and mystery with what is going with Devin's pack and the agreement he has with the Authority and the people of where they live. The connection Devin and Grace have is growing stronger as is Lizzie's and Dom and Caleb's. Veronica seems to be the perfect match for Vince as well. I can not wait to find out what happens next. Very well written as well as entertaining.
Primal Lust Book 3 I really enjoyed this latest book in the series. We get to catch up on the couples(threesome in one case) and see how they are doing after the claiming and what new challenges they face as mates as well as outside dangers. Devin and Grace have gotten closer and truly feel they are meant for one another. Veronica and Vince face personal struggles as she is a vampire and he is a werewolf. I love how Vince is willing to submit to Veronica and only wants to make her happy. Lizzie, Dom and Caleb are working on getting her wolf back. She can sense her but seems to have trouble letting her come out. Her two mates are so dedicated to helping her. The pack as a whole is facing trouble with the threat from some of the vampires lead by Natalia who is up to no good. This story has so many moving parts that Ms Winters somehow in her creative mind is able to make it work. I can not wait for the next book in the series. I can't wait to read Broken Fate
To be claimed written by Willow Winters is a paranormal shifter romance. I admit at first I was hesitant, unsure on whether I would like the story or not, I’ve never read a shifter romance before, but I love Willows writing and books so figured I’d give it a try. Sooooo glad I did because wow! This is a combination of three books; Wounded kids, Gentle scars and Primal lust. There’s a fourth book coming out in September I believe and it can’t get here fast enough! This book has it all. Fated mates, werewolves, vampires, witches, warlocks, magic. I’m obsessed! All of willows books have crack in them I swear because once you start reading you can’t put it down. There’s mystery and suspense and a whirlwind of emotions. The emotions emanate thru the pages and really make you feel as though you yourself is the one feeling them. I’m highly impressed with the amount of emotional depth shown in these characters and I love them all. The shadow fall werewolves are my introduction into this style book and I will forever keep them near and dear to my heart. If your questioning whether you would like this type of book take the leap and grab it up. It’s amazing and you won’t regret it! I went into it blind essentially and think it’s a great way to do it that way you can form all your own opinions and feelings. I don’t want to give any spoilers just know there’s a fated mates trope, small town, and ALOT of things that can still be told and many many ways this book series can branch out and I can’t wait to see the turns it’s going to take. Thank you Willow for introducing such an amazing intricate world to me with amazing characters and depth.
To be claimed is a collection of unputdownable stories that will have you reading into the early hours. It includes wounded kiss, Gentle Scars and Primal lust.
Wounded kiss
When I first heard that willow was doing pnr, I was giddy with excitement, I dont read much but what I have read ive loved and my god this was no different, As soon as it hit my kindle, I dropped everything and jumped straight in. it was absolutely amazing, it kept me gripped from the first paragraph, I couldn't put it downuntill it was finished. I loved all the characters andcan'tt wait to find out more about them. Now this story is deeply rooted in me Ican'tt wait for book 2 and for thier journeys to continue.
Gentle scars- Gentle scars is another absolute corka, Willow does PNR like she does every other book, and it leaves me in awe, Just like wounded kiss, I couldn't put this down, I was gripped to my kindle from beginning to end, I loved everything about it, the characters, and the story.I can't wait to see whats to come.
Primal lust- Primal Lust starts off where Gentle Scars finished and boy was I ready, its been a minute since I read gentle scars so I couldn't wait to dive back into this world. I'm true willow fashion the heat is off...the...scale, without taking anything away from the story itself. It pulled at my emotions and had my nerves on a knifes edge. I can't wait for more of this supercharged world.
Thank you to the author for the review copy in exchange for an honest review.
I honestly did not know what I was getting into with this one. I actually gave up on looking for a good werewolf/shapeshifter story (and one with a mate trope!) a while ago and got an email from Sophie at Willow Winters Publishing about this release and decided to go for it because I honestly just need to keep my mind busy at the moment (it doesn’t hurt that I really enjoyed the last books I read of hers) and if it’s with flooding my tbr then that’s how I’m going to do it. I deeply apologize for my rambling
TL/DR I didn’t read the blurb and was pleasantly surprised that this was a werewolf/shifter romance with a mate trope, onto the rest of the review.
The first book was a fun, easy and suuuuper spicy read. The only other titles I’ve read from WW was the Shame on You Series, which was my introduction to dark romance and had a very different writing style. So far I really enjoyed both styles of writing and this was a really nice introduction to her paranormal writing style.
The second book got more into their lifestyle and how they do things both as a pack and in their vampire-shifter-human society, at first I didn’t enjoy the introduction to Vince and Veronica’s part but they definitely grew on me.
I liked the shifting, that was new, it only occurred to me then that we didn’t see it in the first book, but there was a lot happening in the first book for shifting to happen so that made sense. Again, so so spicy. I enjoyed, others might not.
I have to be honest by the last book I kind of lost interest in Lizzie, Dom and Caleb but Grace and Devin still seem like a pretty solid couple that I have high hopes for in the future books. The third book also turned my love for Veronica and Vince into sadness for Veronica and Vince? I adore them and they are precious and I just need them to be safe and happy please and thank you.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys werewolf/shifter and paranormal romances and anyone who enjoys ensemble casts in which the books don’t focus on just one couple but rather a whole group main characters and the cast only gets bigger throughout the series.
To Be Claimed by Willow Winters is a dark paranormal romance with high heat and suspense to keep you on edge. It’s also three stories in one book and I swear each one is hotter/spicer than the previous story. I absolutely love paranormal romance and books about werewolves so this was 100% up my alley. These books were written so well and with such incredible flow to them that I didn’t want to put my kindle down. Everything was fantastic with the characters, the amazing and addictive plot to all the emotional suspense that I went through.
Willow Winters has a gift, as I was reading through the book I could picture everything because it was described in detail. This book has a lot of spice but there’s a great story that is woven throughout. I loved the world, the politics, rumors, hurts and everything else I got to experience. The way I could describe my emotions through the book is a rollercoaster… we climbed up then dropped and went through loops, then when it seems like it’s calm, smooth sailing; we then did it all again but in reverse. This was a great book and if you love a great paranormal romance with werewolves, I highly recommend it!!!
I have read many shifter stores, so I was excited to pick up this one. This is a compilation of the entire trilogy.
Book one: Wounded Kiss - This book contains a lot of the world building necessary to enjoy the story. In this world, wolves have a treaty with the humans. The wolves protect the town from other supernaturals and the town has an offering of women for the wolves annually. Although no women have been chosen for over a hundred years, Grace and her best friend Lizzie have a bad feeling about this year's event. It is their first year to attend the offering - and they are both selected. They find out that the offering is to find the mates for the pack. But will Grace and Lizzie accept their mates?
Book two: Gentle Scars - While at the offering, Vince can tell his mate is there. He tracks her through the woods...and so do some unknown wolves. Veronica senses all of them and is ready to play.
Book three: Primal Lust - All the mates from the previous books are working to keep the peace amongst the species. The conclusion to this trilogy is action packed and heated.
This series is all you could want and I devoured it!
This is The Complete Trilogy of The To Be Claimed Saga and it contains Wounded Kiss, Gentle Scars and Primal Lust and Omg it is definitely a must read. PRN is not one of my must read but because it was written by Willow Winters I really wanted to give it a try and Wow I am so glad that I did because it was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to read more. There are twists and turns along with great characters, intrigue, action, suspense, hope, love, finding your fated mate, magic, intense chemistry that sizzles off the pages and a storyline that pulled you in and had you hooked right from the start and I was unable to put this down as it was so addictive and kept your attention throughout and will also have you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages to see what would happen next along with taken you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and will have you feeling everything that they go through as if you are there living through it with them. Willow Winters is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to capture her readers and I am so glad that I was one of the ones chosen to read this and I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future. I definitely recommend that you read this and you will not be disappointed.
I honestly did not know what I was getting myself into when I agreed to read this book. I got an email from Sophie at Willow Winters Publishing about this release and if I was willing to read and review. I said why not, and I’m so glad I did.
To Be Claimed is a three books of the saga combined. It’s I got to say the offering and the chaos is what got me right away… So if you enjoy reading paranormal romance then this is the book for you. We get Devin and Grace’s story which is kind of intense and passionate. However I loved Grace stubbornness. Then we have Lizzie with Dom and Caleb’s story which is equally enticing. And to top it off we have Vince and Veronica. They’re interactions and what is to come. Each of the characters has an appeal that draws you in. So enjoy the fantasy that it provides and these alpha males and their mates.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. And now I can’t believe I have to wait for the fourth book, Broken Fate until September. I need to know what happens next.
