Hook: Book One Of The Karmaeleon Trilogy

Rate this book
Hook.
To ensnare and catch.
To entice and captivate.
To bait and entangle.
In other words, my job.
Not the job I wanted to have, but I learned from a young age that sometimes one has to do some dirty work to achieve their goals.
I've become a predator, just like these men. It's the only way to reach those that exist in an untouchable world.
Nothing can get in my way of dealing karmic justice. Not even love.

The Karmaeleon Trilogy is a psychological, suspenseful romance that will keep you guessing to the last page. There’s no escaping the truth of this story. People may try to hide, but as the heroine of this story knows, you can't run from the facts forever. And in typical Stella Knights fashion, there are plenty of button-popping steamy scenes for the bisexual heroine as she takes on those who don't see her coming.

Okay Read

I received an advance review copy for free from Hidden Gems, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you Stella Knights for the opportunity to read your book. This was an alright read. The story revolves around the main character, Rose getting revenge while trying to fall in love. Although the premise was interesting, I did not really feel like it had me on the edge of my seat. I thought the characters were okay. I did like Rose was a good character. However, I would have liked to learn more about her relationship with her family. Also, Nikolai was another good character. I wish I knew more about him as well. The ending was the best part for me. I wonder what will happen next. I think that there is potential in this series. I think if the story was more suspense focus than romance, the story would have really shined. Overall, an okay read.

I was given an ARC for this book and I loved it. There is so much within the pages of this book including romance, psychological suspense, action and adventure, travel and more. The MC is like a bounty hunter who takes down bad people while trying to unravel the mystery of her sister's death. The book kept me guessing until the end and I can't wait to get my hands on Book Two. I highly recommend this book!

Set on revenge and falling for someone all at the same time. This book will always keep you guessing. It truly is amazing and I had a hard time putting it down. The end of the book will make you want to read more. I can not wait until the next book to find out what happens.

Enticing Read

Knights wove a compelling protagonist into a serpentine twisting plot that spans the globe and the protagonist's emotions. Tough to put down.

I liked this story; however, it didn’t wow me. Despite that, I couldn’t put it down. It was suspenseful and interesting with twist and turns I didn’t see coming. I just couldn’t connect with the main character. I liked the author’s writing style. I do plan to read the rest of this series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a free copy of this book.
