'You were queen, and I was king, but then you disappeared. The king went to the football stadium looking for the queen. She was not there. I was devastated and lonely. I found the queen's crown and corsage blown by the wind. I had put that corsage on the queen's wrist. I stared at the crown and corsage; my king's heart was broken, and I went back to the gym by myself. I waited for the queen to come back....The king still remembers that night. The queen had a secret, and only Anna knows the secret of the queen.'

Very touching and powerful story by Sun Hui East. I have started reading her books and have enjoyed every one of them.
This particular book is powerful, especially reguarding abortion. (I think that this story would change the mind of many teen age girls planning to abort a child).
I have a 15 year old daughter and I'm having her read it as well... she was moved by it as soon as she got into the story.
The story spans many years and shows how the decision of abortion effects people years afterwards (it affects their marriges, their confidence, their perspectives... all very eye-opening)! I recommend it!
