The Lost Therian Omega #3

Uniting Their Pack

Rate this book
Why does everyone underestimate me? We might have been one step behind, but I’m done standing by and allowing the good things in my life to be interrupted, attacked, or broken. After my fathers’ deaths and the two packs joining together, I thought our biggest concern would be searching for answers while navigating inter-pack politics. Life is never that easy, though, is it? That search for answers abruptly ends when an unlikely blast from my past arrives with the answers we seek. This time Brody and his cohorts aren’t getting the last laugh. I will form alliances and be the glue that holds them together if no one else steps up. I’ve met my eighth mate. His life has been anything but kind, and Brody is at the core of everything. The beta gorilla has a lot to answer for. And with the help of my mates, my friends, and if they agree, the Council, I plan to make him pay.

She’s so close. So beautiful in this moment. The perfect omega for me. For us.

Uniting Their Pack is an epic conclusion to The Lost Therian Omega series! Kya acquires another mate, bringing her number of fated mates to eight. She gets her long-due revenge on those who hurt her mother, and the story is tied off with a HEA.

Thank goodness for the character guide in the beginning! Kya has so many mates that it’s hard to keep track of them. In fact, I think this book would have been an easier read if she’d had fewer mates - once they hit eight in total, they no longer had individual personalities, and only a couple stood out as individuals.

Her newest mate might tie with Kota as my favorite of the bunch. He is supportive and sensitive to her needs – perhaps in a different way than the others, as their bonding was unconventional, and he had suffered a traumatic past. Every chapter with his POV stood out.

After hiding her abilities for most of the trilogy, I loved seeing Kya using her Therian powers to shift into multiple forms. The form she chooses for her revenge fight is an absolute surprise.

There is a moderate amount of spice in this one. There are a couple group scenes, but this is a plot-heavy story. Apart from MFM+ scenes, there is MM within the already-established relationships.

Genre: Paranormal Romance
Tropes/Features: Shifter Omegaverse, dark elements, large harem/pack, multiple shifter types, unique shifters, fated mates, twins, new mate, virgin MMC, improper usage of paint, O-denial, group scenes, dp, heats.
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV
Relationship Type: Why Choose – MMMMFMMMM (established MM relationships within the pack), medium burn, moderate spice
Book Type/Ending: Book Three in The Lost Therian Omega series, HEA
TW/CW: Available in Content Note

This was definitely more plot focused than relationship focused, which was fine but I feel like we lost some of the men/their voices along the way and her relationship with Vor came off as just the last puzzle piece instead of truly wanting him for a mate. If that makes sense?

While Kya had very few interactions with her mates separately, the spice scenes were great and the family moments were really nice to see. Everyone blended together almost effortlessly.

I’m beyond happy that the bad guys were taken out finally. I was expecting one of the council members to be in on it since they weren’t all that keen to helping until the serum was mentioned.

This was a good end for Kya and her guys as they accomplished what they wanted but I’m still left with some questions, biggest one being why did Jean-Pierre want the blood? It was made to be a big deal but nothing came from it. Unless it’s suppose to be in the future story with Ryder, Brooks, Cole and Vasu? 🤷🏻‍♀️ anyway, I was hoping for the epilogue to be focused on their future rather than an update on Vanessa’s.

great read

I absolutely adore this series and I'm kinda sad its over but what an ending. Vor stole my heart away from Koda he was just so special I love how the others helped him. This one wasn't as spicy but was still pretty hot.
I hope this means that Brooks and Ryder get a series in the future.

Excellent closure. This final book in Lost Therian omega series was everything I needed in terms of closure. What I particularly enjoyed was the epilogue and how there was a happily for now and it didn't end with Kya just having babies. I really liked that throughout the series and emphasis was placed on building safety for families and getting to know the people fate matched up. There are obviously questions left unanswered it I suspect that many of the side characters my feature in future books. I'm pretty sure I'm Team Fjord first and then tied between Team Vor and Team Lucian and my favourite of the mates. I would have loved to see an expansion of how Kya settles into her Omega role and in Sanctity Cove, it was after all mentioned a number of times that she needed to do it. She had feelings or intuition or whatever but it wasn't explored in great detail. I'm impressed that Kya is written as a woman that knows her own mind and she has a life that exists outside of being a shifter and a mates omega and that's being an artist. The way Kya's painting is described it feel like I can see it and feel it and I want someone it to hang on my dining room. Overall I have loved this series and I'm sad to say goodbye, Aisling Cousins while still a new-ish author she has released some outstanding books in under 2 years. She is worth the investment.

I didn’t like how the book tied up well with the show down part. I also didn’t like how long it took to take care of things. A lot of the plot was glossed over or not mentioned much. Fjord and River were going to merge the packs, but we barely saw that. Fjord was going to cull some bad people from his pack, and while he did root out some people it was never clear if he got them all. River never did we see him have to cull anyone in his pack.

Speaking of the pack Vanessa might’ve been one of the main females who took issue with Kya, but she wasn’t the only one. There was mention of the pack and such and yet we barely see them. We barely see interaction with Kya and the pack. We don’t really get to see her stabilize the pack or what completely being an omega is. It’s just glossed over and alluded to.

We don’t really ever find out why the head vampire wanted Therian blood. We also didn’t really get why he inserted himself into Kya’s convo with his son and son by mating. It’s weird. I wish it was explained.

I think there could be more building in the plot the characters are great. I just need some of those finer details. But overall I enjoyed the series. I would love to see what happens with her brothers, Cole and the teen they rescued.

But the guys are great I really like them.

Always a step behind Brody, Kya and her guys must figure out a way to stop playing defense and take control. The gorilla shifter must be stopped. They need to combine two packs both reeling from the loss of their long-time Alphas, and turn them in a new direction for the future. Plus, there's Kya's final mate. Kya has a plan but it will require an unusual alliance. Hopefully, her men will go along with her so they can all get to their HEA.

I'm going to sound like a broken record here. It was entertaining and again, the author made some odd choices. Kya has spent her life being careful and calculated, but in this book had a period of recklessness that made no sense, put her and her most vulnerable mate at risk, and endangered the whole mission. The final mate's physical description was less than appealing. The pacing was uneven. The book could have used a little polish. This author has a good imagination and as she gains more experience, her writing will continue to improve. I would have appreciated a little more 'after time' with the pack. My only complaint was Kya and her brothers. My favorite part of the story was Kya's relationship with her younger brothers and they disappeared as the story progressed except to be pulled out for conflict. Given their past, it didn't make sense. I missed the siblings.

This was my first series by Aisling Cousins and it was a unique read. Packs need an omega if not everyone no matter their status will go feral. I don’t think I’ve read an omega verse like that before and it was interesting. I really enjoyed Kya and her mates and the storyline. The conflict was throughout the series which kept me on my toes. While I did enjoy this series I think it needs a bit of polishing in some spots to make it flow better. Other than that I flew through this series. I liked the dynamic of Kya and her mates and how they underestimated her in the beginning. She is a force to be wrecked with. Usually, when I read omegaverses the female/omega is soft which is why I love them but Kya was a fighter, she had to be and I did enjoy that switch up. The suspense in this series was good as well. It was an action-packed book with fighting and I love a good fight scene. Plus, this series has humour scattered throughout, it has a Nan who had tears rolling down my face with stuff she said. I think this is a great series if you are looking for a shifter RH KU. I can’t wait to see what else Aisling does with this universe because she hinted and more and with how it ended I have a feeling about who it will be about.

Finally..... Brody got everything that was coming to him, so freaking satisfying!! I enjoyed this journey that this series took me on, there were some really cool ideas and the plot was well thought out and executed. As much as I despised Vanessa from the previous books, I was surprised by her character arc and impressed that I wound up liking her and I honestly would love to read her story. I am also definitely curious about Brooks, Ryder, Cole, and Vasu as well. While I did like all of the characters I think Vor ended up being my favorite, his voice definitely stood out among the others. I still fell like the group was very large and hard to keep track of, often characters kind of blending together for me. Maybe eight mates were just too many for me to keep up with. I also would have loved a meatier epilogue, more focused on Kya and her mates and their future. Hopefully we get to see a bit more of their future in the others stories. I know I'll definitely be looking forward to them!

After the cliff-hanger from the previous book, the action picks right back up as Kya and her mates come to terms with her 8th and final mate, and the new conflicts and issues that come with it. Kya's relationship with so many big alpha males is so amazing, and I love how they all fit together. I loved how accepting and nurturing they all were when Vor entered the picture, how they all work together, and how they spice things up together! I love the insights into some of the other relationships, such as with Kya's brothers and Gran, and how they got their HEA. I'll be keen to read other stories from this world and to see what some of the side characters get upto! A great conclusion to a fantastic series!

Review for the entire series

This covers all three books- I enjoyed how strong the FMC was. She was constantly underestimated, and I liked seeing how the harem came to realize and trust and respect her. I did sort of feel like the author just kept tossing tragedy after tragedy at the group. It seemed an everything and the kitchen sink sort of plot line. The main characters just bounced back after really evil long-term tragedies- multiple kidnappings, being kept prisoner long term and undergoing experiments by evil scientists, multiple parent deaths, and betrayals. Ultimately, I liked the idea and the FMC. I loved her strength, and I recommend the books, but they dragged a bit, and the plot was a little all over the place.

Kya started out feisty, protective, strong, and brave and stayed true to herself the whole way. She learned how to lean on her mates for help and allowed her heart to open to love. Finding her eighth and final mate secured their bond as a unit and made them whole, ready and able to take on anything thrown at them. And they rose to the challenge beautifully.

I have come to call each of these characters friends, and it's hard to say goodbye, but I count the days until we get more stories from this wonderfully crafted world!

I've been re-reading the series from the start just to enjoy the story once again. This book gets the dream ending you want but just as important is the journey to that end. Would of liked to see an extended epilogue with the HEA but who knows we'll see it one day. I love some of the side characters and hope we will have a book containing their story. Course that is me thinking. I really love the world created and love how there is growth in the characters and got happy feelings overal. Must read series!

I’ve loved this entire series from start to finish. Kya is a strong FMC that I’ve been rooting for since the first book. This book has a lot of action in it, and it’s definitely a page turner. I read it all in one sitting, without even realizing I’d done so. It was just that good. The resolution to the overall storyline was AMAZING. While there are a lot of characters to keep track of—eight mates—it never felt like it. This was a great final book, and I’m greatly looking forward to the teased spinoffs.

Yes! Yes!
What a fantastic way to end the series!!
I feel like everything amps up in this book. The action, drama and steam. You name it!
Kya was such a fierce FMC. She continued to prove she was a force to be reckoned with. Even so, I love that she learned to lean on the guys more. I also loved the closeness and growths of all of their relationships. They truly become a pack united!!
Lastly, I'm going to miss Kya and her mates, but I'm so glad they got their happy ending!!

Happy ending

Omg i loved so much. It was sooo cute and rewarding to see it all come together. Quick ending with the counselors. I still wondered what would the old vampire would have done with the therian blood. OOOHHHH. I hope you write about Brooks and ryan’s fated mate storyline. It would be cool to see Kya’s and them to see their kids. I mean 8 years later? Still overall good ending. 4.6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ✨ 😍

This was a really good end to the series! All of your questions are answered and without giving away any spoilers we get to see Kya and her mates get the ending they deserve. It's been a while since I've read the first two so I was a little confused as to why we got so much of Vanessas story since I don't remember her too much. But if you wanted to see how her story ends you'll get answers to that as well

Uniting Their Pack is the third, finale of The Lost Therian Omega Series by Aisling Cousins. This picks up right where book two left off. Vor has showed up and the pack has really accepted him. As long as Kya is happy - the pack is happy. Great ending to a great series. I agree with other people - hopefully we can see some side characters get their own stories and we can see Kya and her mates in the future!

a pack united

I enjoyed the conclusion of the Lost Therian Omega. There were loose ends that were tied up and some pleasant surprises. While I wanted to stay in the world forever, I know that isnt possible and it was better to not drag it out. I was left wanting a bit more and I wanted to know why ***** needed / wanted therian bl00d 👀

I cant wait to see some of the side characters growth and I am excited for whats next!

good ending

It’s was a good end. Kya was needlessly reckless in this one that set me on edge. I’m not sure why her actions were so insufferable compared to the other two books where I was always on her side. Besides that Vanessa’s redemption arc was good. I’m annoyed the epilogue gave us more information about her than the actual McBearty mates but hopefully that means in another book we’ll get to see Kya and her group again.

It was a great ending to such a great series of books! I wish we found out a bit more about Vor and saw his relationship rebuild with Kya. It felt like there wasn't a lot here. It didn't feel like there was a lot around the pack as a whole either, and found that sometimes it was easy to forget they were a part of a bigger pack. I am looking forward to the potential of spin off books from some of the characters.

ending…

The series overall was really good! I was looking forward to seeing the wrap up and what would happen…then this final book…it fell flat.
There was the big scene in the facility…then suddenly it was 6 months later? Then 8 years with some major character adds and nothing with a context or a “follow for updates or released for _____ characters story”

It seemed really rushed.

I am sad the book ended so quickly however it was a great ending! Vor finally fitting in, getting hid revenge on the facility, Vanessa getting the happiness she deserves. The ending was beautiful and left it open so more can be explored. Cole, Ryder, Brooks and Vasu learning they will be a pack as their mate is born. Can't wait to see where it goes!

Loved the ending to Kya and her mates story! There is so much character relationship growth and their pack becoming complete is everything. I love how excepting all the guys were to Vor and how he literally just fit in like a puzzle piece. The vengeance they get on those that deserve it made for quite the action packed experience. Loved everything about this!

I love Kya’s happy ever after. She was feisty throughout this whole series and I enjoyed it. I am so sad that this is the end for her and her mates. Her eight mates were amazing and balanced each other out so well. They were all so unique and they truly came together and rose to every challenge that was thrown at them. Such a great ending to one of my favorite series!

This was a great ending to the trilogy. Right off the bat Kya finds her final mate. The rest of the story builds towards the final showdown between Kya, her mates and Brody. No spoilers but how that goes down has a twist at the end that was unexpected. At the end, a couple of possible spin off series are set up which I hope we do get in the future. Overall, great series!!

Great Ender

I really enjoyed this duet. I love series but I love them even more when they are duets and we finally see them get the bad guys. I was interested to see where the vampires got up too after the main event especially with her being a therian. Im also glad there was an epilogue where it discusses what happened after 8 years. I am glad I took a chance on this series!
