Amazing! This book was a spiritual experience. I felt Jesus speaking to me as well as the author. I felt I had glimpsed heaven along with him. It confirmed so many of my own beliefs and gave great insight into heaven. I have known others who have had visions of their pets similar to Steven’s, and his experience left me with no doubt that our animals share in the glory of eternal life. This book is a great read for all Christians, whether you’ve lost a pet or not.
We just lost our little Moxie after having her in our lives for 10 years. She just turned 10 in January... My heart was shattered. I could NOT let my heart believe she went to nothingness! She never ever sinned or did anything to anyone that was not full of love. I sobbed as I downloaded this book to my Kindle. She's been gone one week today. I THANK YOU for writing this book! I have peace in knowing I will see her again one day. She can never be replaced, but I know Jesus will one day bring us another dog. One day.... We love you so very, very much Moxie... You are our 4th child and you know it too well. Thank you again for this book!
Very good book. Focus on scripture relating to all God's creatures, not just humans. Something I think is neglected by traditional preachers, priests and pastors. Maybe because people lose interest if it is not about them. Scripture makes it pretty obvious that God cares about all creatures and we all are His. Our pets are on loan to get us through terrible times. Interesting that animal abuse is considered a sin. Is our Lord going to be impressed with all the trophies on the wall?
This book brought me a sense of peace. I know now I will see my sweet Lola again. She is with my other 2 shepherds in Heaven. I know she is back with the Lord and healthy with no pain. That brings joy to my heart.
Scriptural passages confirming that our animals are on loan from Jesus, and that they do go to heaven. We will re-unite with our pets in heaven. Good read....
Oh my goodness. Thank you Steven H. Woodward for writing this book. When it was other people that had lost their pets I was quick to respond with platitudes and quote Romans 8:20-21. But now that I had lost my precious Cleo I didn’t know what to believe. This book is so simple yet so very powerful! I can’t believe I ever questioned or ever considered the words from uninformed, though well meaning pastors in the past. I now know for certain where my girl is and that she is waiting for me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
I loved this book! It helped me understand that animals automatically go to heaven since they are not sinners. God loves all, animals, plants and humans but humans need to work a bit harder! And, I loved the 30 day prayers for animals at the end! This book is certainly a keeper and I will definitely reread this book!
(Audiobook) This book really had a biblical twist to it, but that's a giveaway with the book title. Still it was interesting to see how the bible perceives animals and their spirits. I had a dream after my cat died of Mother Mary holding my cat, so I always believed their spirits go to heaven.
Even though there are occasional stumblings in editing, I am now fully confident that my little Diggle is in Heaven. I only have one more question, and I guess that's between me and God at this point.
Beautiful. Helps me in my grieving losing my animal
Love the visions and the scriptural references. I just recently lost my pet and miss him so much! But I know he is with Jesus. The hardest part is the time I have to spend without him.
Quick read, not too "heavy," but there are definitely biblical references that support the stated view. My only complaint is with spelling and grammatical errors; a good proofreader should have been employed.
This book points out many passages from the bible that has help me put my mind at peace. It does give me great pleasure to know my pass pets are in heaven and I will see them when I get there.
I know they come to visit me either in my dreams or come sit on me at the foot of my bed and I even see them by the corner of my eye. When you start thinking of one of your pets that is when they are visiting you. As I have matured the loss of a pet really hurts my heart and I cry. I have loss many other pets but, I have their memories or pictures of them.
Back in 1983 we had a gray cat Bootsy, my kids and I went crazy for him. We would put her in a bird cage and cover her up with a pompom. She would love it. One day it was raining, we could not find Bootsy, a couple of days later we found the remains of Bootsy under the house. The other day, I had a dream Bootsy came to visit me. She was so excited showing me her home in heaven.
God has given me 7 fur babies to take care of as I have no children. I had to send my Yorkie daughter Tascha to be with Jesus on Christmas Eve 2021. Tascha was the first to go ,It was sudden and a shock. I just needed some reassurances on my belief as a Christian Vegan , that animals go to heaven too and that my baby is waiting for me and her brothers and sisters.
Quietly affirming and deeply assuring Steven takes the reader on a journey from tears to revelation and glory a profoundly comforting message to all who have lost a furry boon companion. Yes all creatures great and small have a place in heaven. Thank you Mr. Woodward for the reminder and the invitation to Hope.
I already know animals go to heaven. AS with a lot of "religious" books, this one tends to be redundant and pontificate. Though I will admit that in parts it did make me cry as I have just lost TWO of my babies, unexpectedly and within 2 days of each other. I know they, along with all my other fur kids, are waiting for me at the bridge.
this book just confirms for me what I knew already
I’ve always believed that I would see my beloved pets that have passed away someday in Heaven. The experiences of Steven just confirmed those beliefs. I am a follower of Jesus and he is my Savior. I know my dogs that have left this earth await my arrival someday in Heaven.
Very interesting and good to know the bible verses that point to his premise. I wish I knew his FB address so I could debate certain points with him. For instance he claims that animals are all innocent and couldn't end up in Hell, but he forgets that they kill and eat each other. Maybe they did have a choice at one time
I had many questions and the book help me to believe that my questions were answered. In certain way gave me comfort. I was doubt that God couldn’t create something so special and let it as it was nothing. How come it would be right if he’s love.
I just lost my beloved English bulldog 3 days ago. I came across this book wondering where my Meatball could be and praying he might be in heaven. After reading this book, my heart is full and my anxiousness of where he might be has disappeared. I believe he’s with Jesus running around in a beautiful field.
