JUST SAY NO to bad writing.

I'm not remotely exaggerating when I say my 10-year-old can write a better story.

Expect: no plot, no character development, rapey sex, and insulting portrayal of tattoo artists as sexual predators.

Evan and Gabe


Oh I wish Evan and Gabes story went on! I don't think I got enough of these two tattooed hotties.

Evan has been in the closet and trying to keep up the straight image by bar hopping with friends and bedding girls left and right. He deals with this through self inflected pain by getting tattoos. Gabe is the confident out of the closet guy who is comfortable with himself and his sexuality. Evan and Gabe are immediately attracted to each other when they meet for the first time in Gabes tattoo shop called Twisted Cherry.

This is a 33 page story about Evan's self discovery and acceptance and Gabe showing Evan how good it can feel to be true to your feelings.

This is the second book I've read from Piper Kay and Im LOVING her!

re-read April 2016: Evan is a bit crude when discussing chicks to bang, but you have to cut him a little slack because he is overcompensating for being in the closet. He's been gay his whole life and he's never experienced a man before. Gage is the tattoo artist who takes it upon himself to show Evan the joys of male sex, while being incredibly patient and erotic.

This is an unusually hot short story of a closeted man's first sexual encounter with another man and I highly recommend it. It stays on the favorites shelf, unlike many of the books I re-read from there.

This is a great example of erotica, well written and done at its best. Not a lot of story ( product description gives a good synopsis) but then again with this type of story that isn't the point - saying that, this atmospheric novella does set the scene perfectly for what is essentially a steamy, passionate,encounter between two hot men that in a strange way, is surprisingly romantic! The use of tattoos is a great hook and brings a provocative feel to the story and its sensual,sizzling love scenes. For a change this is not just "Wham bam thank you man" sex because it actually has some feeling attached to it. I enjoyed this, it's short but packs quite a powerful punch.

This might have been a short, ultimately forgettable piece of erotic fiction....except for the fact that the characters are drinking while tattooing (this is never okay), absolutely no shaving is done before the tattooing starts, and the two of them have sex right after Evan gets fresh ink on his hip. At one point, Gabe is careful to keep his hands away from the ink, but this is after he straddled Evan's waist with absolute abandon a couple pages before.

Ouch.

Such a great read!

After reading this I went back hoping to find more of Evan and Gabe's story. There is nothing! I want more.
This short read is so smooth and gets straight to the point. YUMMY.

Evan hides his sexuality behind woman and his friends. He finally gets to show his sexy and not to mention innocent side when going for another tattoo. In walks Gabe... and that's it I am a goner!



Oh man this read will set you on fire! I loved their chemistry. It's so realistic and believable.

I really like the premise of this story and Evan and Gabe. I found the writing good, however, this story was just too short for any kind of character or plot development. I wanted to know more about both of these characters and I think that the story could have been so much more if it was longer.

I don't know...I liked some things about this story but I just couldn't understand how Evan in the very beginning "had to" get tattoos to get an outlet for his feelings about other men and then was willing to jump the tattoo atrist within seconds without any thought. I didn't buy it.

Short and hot, this story is about Evan, who believes he has to be straight, and Gabe, the tattooist who convinces him otherwise. The process of Evan's discovery is all physical, and the series of encounters he has ranges from naughty to hot. Evan is a very physical guy, and his main stumbling blocks are dismantled one after the other. While there is no solution to the bigger picture of how Evan will handle his life once he admits he is gay, that would be too much to deal with in such a short story.

Evan is a tough guy, he works hard, and won’t let himself admit he is gay. Women don’t do it for him, yet he feels he needs to be a womanizer to be accepted by his colleagues. The one thing that belongs only to him is his tattoos. They express a side of himself he keeps carefully hidden the rest of the time, and so it is no surprise that it is a tattooist who manages to get him to open up and discover new things.

Gabe is a hot guy, and a great artist, but even better (for Evan), he is sensitive. He can be gentle and tender and that is exactly what Evan needs as he discovers the physical side of man-to-man love. What Gabe gets out of it? Some very hot action, and the satisfaction of having taught another man to appreciate a different kind of sex.

If you like sexy stories, if you enjoy reading about a man discovering a new side to himself and liking it, and if you're looking for an uncomplicated read, then you will probably like this short story.

Gabe is the owner of the Twisted tattoo parlor who, unlike Evan, doesn’t try to hide the fact that he prefers men to women. Gabe sees a mutual attraction in Evan’s eyes and sets out to exploit it. Gabe sets Evan’s skin on fire with his gun as well as his touch. But will Evan give in to his desires? The desires he’s kept hidden inside until now.

This story was short, sexy and twisted. Who doesn’t like big sweaty men, slobbery kisses and tattoos?! Gabe twists Evan’s cherry alright, and then some. There is foreplay, sweet kisses and some steamy sex involving an inexperienced virgin who likes to watch himself and his lover in the mirror. This is the perfect lunch break read, just enough to reinvigorate you and get you through until quitting time!

This book is over Evan, a man who would not dare to admit that he is attracted to men. That is until he meets Gabe who is a tattoo artist and when Evan goes looking to add more tattoos. Evan gets more than he though but it might b what he has always been looking for without knowing it.
If your a fan of M/M erotic romance than this book is for you. As you follow Evan on his journey of finding himself with the help of Gabe. I believe this book to be a nice and hot read and very descriptive. It's a fast read but was surprised it needed giro to hear more these characters, maybe a series of Evans journey. I gave this book five stars because it kept me entertain and interested that I was surprised it was over. Plus look at the cover, I love it, just draws you in .

I loved this story. Evan is a man who for years has spent his life denying his true self. Getting tattoos to allow the pain of the needles to release the need he denies himself. The story takes you on a journey of self discovery and coming to terms with your true identity. A truly romantic and loving read. Passionate and erotic.

Piper Kay does an amazing job bringing her characters to life and allowing you to immerse yourself in the journey along with them. A steamy novel.

A great read for anyone looking for an erotic romance. That doesn't skimp on the romance just for sake of scenes.

This book deserves a cherry on top. After hesitating to read this book as I'm not familiar with m/m books I began reading and could not stop until I finished reading it. Although I wish I could learn more about Evan and Gabe and find out more if they have a future together I could recognise the feeling of being unsure towards a relationship (even tho I'm a straight woman). Having someone like Gabe around who comes across as a proper biker but with a sensitive heart to put you at ease, make you feel comfortable and guides you through all the way is what every person secretly wishes for. Definitely a must read. Thank you Piper for this incredible experience!

This short story is about Evan, hes 23 and to everyone he knows is a hot blooded hetrosexual male. But Evan is deeply unhappy. He is desperate to explore sexually with the same sex and a chance encounter with Gabe at a tattoo shop starts him on this incredible journey.
this was the first m/m book i have read. Pipers writing is easy to read and flows well. Her description is hot and hard without being overly crude. I enjoyed reading about Evans journey, discovering his homosexual side and gabe helping him with his first gay encounter. I found this read overall very enjoyable and would definitely read further m/m tales especially by this author.

This is a short story of a a guy who's fantasies were all in his head and that's where they remained, until the day he walks into the Twisted Cherry tattoo studio.

From there Piper engages the reader into a world of ink and attraction.
We are introduced to Gabe and his designs and desires toward the inexperienced yosie, seeking to get his body inked and a whole lot more.

This story came with a strong message for me and that is not to deny ones self of what the head and the heart feels is right.

TWISTED CHERRY is a sexual MM short story of one man losing his virginity to his hot tattoo artist. This is an erotic way to spend a half hour reading. These are two hot men. Both are buff, over six feet tall, and tattooed up. They're manly men who ride motorcycles, drink beer and smoke. And their uber sexuality was utterly delicious. Any MM reader will enjoy this erotic story. Sure, there isn't any emotional intimacy but that's not the point of this short story. So read TWISTED CHERRY with the expectation of steamy sex and you'll be satisfied.

From the very first page you're sucked in and it's not until you find yourself on the last page that you notice just how easy it is for Piper's work to give you the perfect escape for a few hours. "Twisted Cherry" by Piper Kay is a steamy yet sweet erotica. Evan has been in denial that he's attracted to men, so instead of facing the attraction he womanizes and gets plenty of ink. When he walks into the Twisted Cherry tattoo parlor he sees some incredible ink art on the walls that speaks to him, so he decides to wait for the artist, Gabe. Gabe is freaking hot but openly gay, but an amazing artist... at 6'4 and all muscles, its hard for Evan to believe he could be. Will Evan give into the attraction he feels for Gabe or just walk away?

This is one of the best male male books I've read. It has two very hot alpha males and still has the sensitivity that all relationships should have. If you like this genre then it's worth picking up.

A little taste will make you mad...

This is a short story, but boy does it pack a serious punch. This story is about a closeted man who uses tattoos as a means of releasing the pain he thinks he deserves for being gay. Evan thinks the tattoo needle releases all of his unnatural urges. When he meets, Gabe the tattoo artist, he's seeking pain, but what he finds is anything but.

Gabe makes the tattoo process so sexy and sensual, there's no pain, only a burning desire of unquenched need that Evan wants Gabe to douse.

I loved this story. The only thing I didn't like about it was the length. I was so hungry for more.

This story is short and sweet so I will make my review just the same. This is the first of pipers books I've read and I FREAKIN LOVED IT!!

The intensity and passion between these two men is remarkable. It's raw and super hot!!

This book was almost too short but is it? You're getting into it and then it's so passion filled that you want more. But then your thinking wow I don't know if I can handle more. Lol Maybe I just like a tease. ;)

have to say that this is my favourite book of Piper Kay's and to find it re-released just makes my day...Look at that damn cover..so hot....Gabe is just my fav guyof all her MC's (yes even beating my Dax)....He takes such good care of Evan..tender and sweet for a tough biker tattooist.....Evan not being sure if he's even gay but takes to Gabe so quick and easy....A really hot sweet read that really will make your toes curl x

I will just say this was not my cuppa. The writing felt off, trying to hard, man. It took a shitfuck a lot of work to get through these 33 pages, dude.

The change in Evan was abrupt, didn't feel natural. I liked Gabe, but I thought he went too far the first time around.

Evan has been living a lie of bring str8 his whole life till he walks Into the Twisted Cherty Tattoo Shop and meets artist Gabe sparks fly and the rest you will have to read and see I totally enjoyed this story
