Bunt!

Rate this book
Bennie Bruno is no homerun hero. He's a small, scrappy everyboy, the kind of kid who has to earn everything he gets with extra effort. Yet he's big enough to change baseball all by himself.

Bennie develops an amazing way of batting, a special control of balls in the infield. When he's called up to the minor league Sierra Bears, his spinning, twisting hits excite the fans and propel the team to the brink of a league championship.
