I consider reading this book as the most important step in my professional career. After reading this book and applying the concepts learned, I was able to build and grow in a Fortune 500 company in ways I would've never thought possible. I cannot put into words the amount of knowledge and wealth that I've been able to obtain using what I've learned here.

Good read for someone trying to learn Excel. It sounds odd to say, but I wish certain chapters had been longer, like Pivot tables and such, but it's definitely a good resource for all things Excel.

This is a great book to learn about Excel even if you believe you know it all. This book covers Excel basics in detail and use this like a reference book is to be used--read a section when you are interested in doing something or like me want to know what are the ways to do something. Use the index liberally, the sample files are available from the website some editions comes with a CD, mine didn't have one. Use a marker and highlight the shortcuts you find; that was the most important thing I found from this book. I later put these shortcuts in to Anki a spaced-repetition software/flashcard to learn them by heart and I recommend anyone trying to learn to give doing that serious thought.
