Happy Traum is an active participant in the folk, blues, and rock scene. Early in his career he studied blues guitar with Brownie McGhee, and later gained wide recognition as a performer and recording artist in his own right. Happy tours and performs internationally as a soloist, as well as appearing with the Woodstock Mountains Revue. He is the founder of Homespun Tapes, through which he distributes instructional cassettes for folk musicians. A prolific writer, Happy is also author of numerous books for the guitar player.
