I was born and raised in a small town in Texas close to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Writing has been in my blood since I was eight years old and wrote my first story for an English assignment. The baby of four children, I was spoiled rotten and still am.

I can't imagine ever writing anything but romances. I enjoy writing about two people (or sometimes more than two) falling in love. If you like the story enough to smile in places, shed a tear at times, or get a warm and fuzzy feeling, that is my greatest reward.

Besides writing at every opportunity, I love reading, traveling, scrapbooking, photography, and learning new things on the computer. I'm a software junky and like trying out new programs, especially anything to do with graphics.

I moved back to Texas after living on the West Coast for 21 years, to a small town 17 miles from where I grew up. I live close to my only surviving sister.

Just okay. Not so hot. Kind of meh. Didn't really capture me. Maybe with a little more character development...who knows? Just didn't 'click' with me. Couldn't really relate to the female characters, maybe that was it. All three (blonde Celina, mega-busty 2X divorcee Elayne, and busty Jasmine) seemed to be uber rich, uber successful career women, uber pretty, uber sexual...why were they having trouble finding men?

The three work-a-holic BFFs take a weekend cruise to celebrate life in the wake of one of their friend's tragic death. This cruise takes place aboard a magical luxury yacht and is sort of a sexed up Love Boat/Fantasy Island. I think there's 12 singles aboard, plus the crew, and anything goes. The passengers are encouraged to hook up with each other (or a crew member). Of course two of our girls hook up with the captain amd his first officer, and their stories were just okay--nothing at all unusual about them except the speed with which the playboy heroes fall in love with them and the 'fantasies' that were acted out. The richest of the friends, Jasmine (who I think was a stockbroker)--paid for the cruise. I think I enjoyed her story the most. She hooked up with another passenger, the mysterious "I-want-to-be-alone" Chase (who was BFFs with first officer Jonathan). Chase has this "big secret" which is directly related to why he doesn't want to strip down to his swim suit (or birthday suit). I had some ideas about that...but it turns out I was wrong!:) Anyway, his and Jasmine's story made this book tolerable for me, and since theirs was the last story, the book ended on a somewhat high note.

Note the best I've ever read from Lynn LaFleur (try Rent-A-Stud or More Than Love for something better), but not horrible either. Somehow I think if this book was developed further, maybe a few more details and some added character development to get me to care about any of them, then maybe it would've come off a bit better. Although the sex scenes as written were technically hot, I didn't feel much (emotionally) because I wasn't really invested in the characters. That made this a bit of a ho-hum read for me. 3 stars

This is apparently a collection of three tales of a weekend cruise, where three girlfriends each have their own point of view of the events. Each appears to have been written as a stand-alone, and there is a lot of duplication, right down to the descriptions and the dialogues. Bo-o-o-oring.

The sex scenes are excellent and hot hot hot, but there is little else to recommend this book. What passes for a plot in each is lame, the characters are either shallow or the author hasn't the skill to convey their depths, and even the magical aspects of the stories are lackluster.

I'm glad I got this secondhand. Don't waste your money.

I thought this book was intriguing when I saw it on the shelf at Barnes & Noble. I decided it was summer, I was not going on a cruise myself so why not get whisked away on one through a book. Lynn LaFleur did not disappoint me.

I took 3 days, 1 for each women to enjoy each of their stories. They are all there for the same reason. To let loose, celebrate a friend's life that passed before her time & enjoy the unlimited amount of pleasure that is offered from the ship. And with all the sexy crew members that are more then willing to satisfy their every "need," the possibilities are endless.

The sex feels real, not rehearsed. And it is passionate all the times it happens. And trust me, "IT" happens alot!!!!

Giving voices to each of the ladies (Celina, Elayne & Jasmine) & to each of their possible suitors (Captain Rand, 1st Officer Jonathan & Jonathan's best friend, Chase) is very well done. And with closely guarded secrets reveled with each part of the couples love affairs, I simply loved the surprises around each corner.

Thank you for a wonderful read Ms. LaFleur. I plan to enjoy this book again & again :-D

While I did enjoy this book, I didn't like it as much as the other book I read by Lynn LaFleur this month. This was the same story told from 3 different points of view. There was a lot of overlapping dialogue, which ended up making the story a little boring for me. Literally, bits and pieces of conversation were word for word in all 3 views. I appreciate the author making sure the details in each version matched up, but it was just too repetitive and boring for me.

This collection had interesting stories but I do wish they were more intertwined instead of separate but with the same scenes mixed in. It got rather repetitive when we went over something we'd already gone over with the same exact wording. Each fantasy itself was interesting; a pirate, a forest chase, a space ship. A ship that grants that sort of thing going through the Bermuda Triangle was pretty awesome and while I wouldn't mind reading more into the ship itself but it is not a top priority.

I was enjoying the book till the 1st chapter of the second story. I like that this is suppose to be the view point of 3 different women, but you don't need to repeat most of what you have already divulged. It can irritate some readers like me. I really enjoyed her other book "Seduction's Spell" a lot better. I'm really tempted not to Finnish it!

I don't know what's forbidden about this story....you should be forbidden to read it. The characters and plot all suck and not in a good way.
