Very detailed and structured walk through every phase of preparing a musical for direction.

The author has provided a logical sequence of action points to guide the novice or experienced director through each stage of the process. This book also contains a number of sample documents to help in creating beat sheets, character sketches and a range of other activities that encourage problem solving before the problems arrive.

Has proven very helpful to me.
