Foreigner
Kristina Callahan is done with men; she is approaching 30, and she has already disappeared from her life once before to try to discover who she was and where she belonged. Her search brought her back to where she started, and so the only way she can cope with her upcoming birthday is to do it all over again: this time to Korea. She travels to a land where not only is everything foreign to her, but she is now the foreigner to everyone she meets. As she tries to settle into her new surroundings and make it through each day without too many cultural screw-ups, she finds herself in familiar territory as her heart decides to take her on a joyride she's not sure she has the stamina to keep up with anymore. Foreigner, the sequel to Kristina's first adventure in Neurotic, continues to explore her idiosyncrasies, her neuroses, but most of all her humanity.
