FANTASTIC!! I went veg in 2003, and have been working on being vegan for the past year or so. I have purchased many cookbooks, and tried many recipes, with varying degrees of success. I have also tried almost every commercially available prepackaged meat substitute and have to say that I disliked most of them intensely. Skye's cookbooks are SPOT ON as far as recreating tastes and textures of comfort foods from my pre-veg days. The recipes have clear, concise instructions which make the recipes virtually foolproof. These recipes make it so easy and convenient for us to have good, tasty cruelty free food at home, and beat the pre-packaged mass marketed stuff, hands down. I cannot recommend this book enough!
I hate when recipe books don’t have photos but I can understand wanting this quantity of recipes .. a great resource for many different cuisines to be made vegan, but overall not incredibly special recipes.
