This is a small collection of erotica stories, as the title claims, about submissive women. It's a fast read, & maintained my attention throughout.

My favorite story was entitled "Best In Show" by Rose de Fer. It's a greatly written puppy play story that accurately tells of the complex emotions that come along with it, and of course, the sheer sexuality of it all. To be honest, I'd be interested in reading a longer, or perhaps full length story, from this set of characters.

My main problem with this anthology is that my favorite story, mentioned above, was the first story in the book. After reading that one, everything else seemed a bit dull in comparison.

But overall this is a decent set of stories worth checking out & I don't regret reading it.

Submission is a collection of short stories by various authors of scenes with a common theme of submission. Most of them are just scenes without the basic components for a story or in other words they do not have a clear beginning set up the story, a middle with the action and an ending with a conclusion. Most just end up in the air with no conclusion and several just start and don't have a theme to get them started. A couple of the stories are the exception and actually are complete short stories.

Warning: The content is based on sexual scenes with consenting adults, so if this isn't of interest to you, pick another book to read.

This was a kindle freebie.

I was pleasantly surprised by this anthology. There are nine stories in this anthology, all but one are new-to-me authors. Each short features a different type of submission. Some were hard-core, some were mild, some worked for me, some didn't. What I liked was that they were not only titillating, but they also made me think.

I'm planning to read another anthology by the same publisher (Mischief, which is a Harper Collins imprint) - In Her Service: a collection of assertive women.
