This was a enjoyable read. I loved the fact that our heroine, Vivian, is 34 and finds herself attracted to a younger man, such a refreshing change of pace. Vivian has a secret she much keep about herself and has shaped her life into helping others keep their secrets and scandals covered up, again a fresh situation for me and one I enjoyed. Marcus returns home, never expecting to be earl and has to deal with his now grown up sister's scandal. It throws this couple back together, ten years after an impromptu kiss that neither could forget. Loved the sexual tension and the witty banter between this couple as they strive to find their place with each other, especially when Vivian's past comes back to haunt her. A well written fresh story with wit, heat and love.

This was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed this book. I think this is a great book for those who want an easy read and fun romance read. I liked Vivian and Marcus and the dynamic between them. The plot kept the story going as Vivian aka The Paragon helps to squash scandals while having her own scandal to keep secret as well. The romance is flirty and fun. Overall, a really fun and enjoyable read.

3 stars. A very mediocre read.

But… should be safe for most. No virgins, heroine “gave” her virginity to a man she thought she loved 10 years prior, he left and she stayed celibate after that. Hero experienced but not a manwhore, no scenes with om/ow, no cheating, some OM and OW drama but nothing extreme or overly angsty.

When Marcus returns from his career as an adventure tour guide to take his deceased brother’s place as Earl of Ashford and the head of their family, he’s bombarded with a potential scandal that could ruin his younger sister’s life. Vivian March, also known as The Paragon, is available to assist, and Marcus remembers her from a night a decade ago when they shared a passionate kiss.

As a way to detract from Marcus’ sister’s scandal, and to keep Marcus at arm’s length, Vivian decides Marcus must marry. Marcus agrees to look for a wife but really intends to seduce Vivian. He is drawn to her from the start, and their brief but memorable interlude ten years prior sets the stage for an enchanting and spicy romance.

Vivian and Marcus are an unlikely pair in many ways. She is seven years older than him and in her thirties, and she deems herself a spinster. Marcus is not fond of polite society and doesn’t care what people think of him, whereas Vivian built a life around what society thinks of her. Marcus is daring, and Vivian is practical.

However, the pair is also quite similar. They are both smart, sincere, and family-oriented. They both fear falling in love and believe they are not made for marriage. They both have insecurities and wounds from the past. It is clear that they admire and are attracted to each other, but internal and external conflicts, including someone from Vivian’s past, prevent them from facing their ever-growing feelings.

Vivian is a smart and independent woman who has made a name for herself in society. Marcus is newly returned to society and has eyes only for Vivian. He admires her honesty and the fact that she has a mind of her own. He sees her as his equal, and I love that, especially considering the time period. Their fun and witty banter, as well as their flirtations, are wonderful, and I love how Marcus never gives up on Vivian. Ultimately, Vivian and Marcus complement each other well. Plus, their romantic scenes are totally swoon-worthy!

I also enjoyed the other characters in the novel, though they weren’t as deeply developed as Vivian and Marcus. As this is the first book in a series, the characters are sure to be developed more in future books. I am especially curious about Marcus’ younger sister. Her story sounds intriguing!

A fun and romantic story with scandals, secrets, and blackmail, A Little Bit Wicked is a fabulous start to the Forbidden Love series. Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

Have you ever read a modern historical novel that was trying to recapture the stilted Regency language used by Jane Austen (but failing) or better yet, that tried to cover badly written soft core porn with a historical veneer but containing many historical inaccuracies? I have, and this book is NOT one of those drivels. It was awesome, exciting, and fun. I was so glad to have a historical lead female who wasn't silly or insipid. This book caught my attention on the first page. I'm a trained historian with some background of the time period covered in the book, and the minor inaccuacies are not due to lack of research, but more of an author needing to write a historical novel for a contemporary audience -- Robyn DeHart made some artistic licenses primarily with the "liberal" approach of her female character so the modern female reader who doesn't have the historical background could still connect and relate. I loved Marcus and Vivian from the very beginning. They are both likable characters and well-rounded. From the very beginning I was wondering about Frederick and how he would re-appear and he does. The Frederick story is interesting, but is not the main story. The main story is about two people growing together and learning to trust one another. Their story is a sweet story of love not handled in conventional way from what I've seen in the past for historical novels. I sincerely enjoyed this book and will be anxious to read others by this author.

All right everyone, for the past few days I have been reading A Little Bit Wicked by Robyn DeHart. I must say that I did enjoyed Ms. DeHart's newest book. So, without further ado I bring you A Little Bit Wicked:

Vivian was going to meet the love of her life, Frederick Noble, for an secret rendezvous. When she gets to assign destination, she meets up with a guy, who she believes is Frederick and gives a passionate. All the sudden she realize its the wrong guy. OH NO!

Freaking out, because she kissed the wrong guy decides to head home. Now disaster strikes, Frederick decides to leave for France to learn to become a famous artist. Now her life is ruin and she must pick up the pieces of her life and re-invent herself. Years later she is able to help others out of sticky situation and became dubbed "The Paragon."

After all his adventures, Marcus Kincaid is summon home to take his place as Earl of Ashford. Too bad his homecoming could have been a little better if his sister, Clarissa, didn't find herself in a pickle. Now they have called in Vivian March, "The Paragon." However, Marcus knows more about Vivian than what she lets on, after all they did shared a passionate all the those years ago. Can Vivian's past stay in the past or is it going to make an ugly reappearance?

Overall, I did enjoy the story. I love how Vivian decided to take matters into her own hands. At the same time, she kind of lived in fear to keep her secret hidden. Yet, she somehow manage to survived. I also enjoyed Marcus character and how he was trying to fill his brothers shoes and repair what was going on in the family. However, I kind of wish Frederick played more havoc on Vivian in the story than closer to the end, but that's just me.

Not only was the story well written, but it had some memorable quotes that could be applied to life. For instance this would be one of my favorite: "Don't ignore life when it stands at your door and beckons, my sweet girl." Seriously, what an awesome quote. One more before I go: "People act out in certain ways to create a perception in others' minds of how we want to be seen." Which is so true.

So, if you are looking for something new to read, you might want to checkout Robyn DeHart's A Little Bit Wicked. I enjoy her writing and you might too. Plus, it has some memorable quotes other than the two I listed. So, I hope you have a wonderful day.

Robin was given a review copy by the publisher in exchange for her honest review. Her review was first posted at Romancing the book.

I tend to think that no matter what era you lived in society stays the same. The virtue of women is held in high esteem. Once said virtue is shall we shall ruined, you aren’t looked at in the same way. It matters not how innocent it may have seemed at the time you are still looked at as a ruined woman. Within the ton in London most proper families saw clear to keeping their daughters out of ruin. But, there is always the risk however innocent in your eyes you make one wrong move and you need someone to help you repair the damage that others think may have incurred. What would you do in this type of situation? That is where Ms. Vivian March comes in.

Ms. March lived her private scandal, spending the last ten years or so keeping it hidden. She has buried those secrets deep, in hopes that no one would be the wiser. Living the life of a spinster with her spinster aunt she spends her days helping the ton escape scandal thus keeping their own secrets hidden. But, it wasn’t always like that for Vivian. She was once so in love with her then fiancé Fredrick that she gave into the lust of young people in love only to have him leave her so that he could pursue his career in Art. After giving herself to another in the name of love/lust, whichever way you choose to look at it, Vivian is thankful that a child was not the outcome because then she wouldn’t have been able to bury her secret along with the indiscretion.

As with most secrets they tend to find a way of resurfacing when we least expect them. Ten years ago when Fredrick left her at a party in the moonlight she kissed another thinking he was Fredrick as it was a masked ball. This kiss she shared in the moonlight light was with a man a few years younger than her. Now ten years later that young man enters her life once again. He remembers that shared kiss and the passion. Marcus having spent the last several years as a tour guide in India and Africa has come home to take over as Earl because his older brother is now deceased. His younger sister has recently done something that may jeopardize her reputation. Because of this Vivian is called and thus the meeting between the two. Marcus remembers her right away wanting to pursue her, while she is trying to help his younger sister’s virtue stay in tack. As she works on helping his sister she also decides a wife is in order for Marcus which will help in the long run. Meantime Vivian’s past threatens to ruin her. What is she to do? Can she being, much older and wiser keep things secret still? Or will she have to tell all in order to save everyone?

I enjoyed all the elements of the story. There was plenty of scandal and secrets to keep me reading and wanting to find out what happens. The unlikely couple (because Vivian is older than Marcus although we aren’t quite sure as the age difference changes from the beginning to the end) shares chemistry, passion and romance from the beginning. I liked the way Marcus knew right away what he wanted and never once gave up on his pursuit of Vivian. Pure romance… Ms. De Hart has written a fast paced, passion filled romance with a love that transcends age. A Little Bit Wicked is the first in a new series written by Ms. De Hart, I for one look forward to the next installment.

"You are a wicked man, Marcus," she murmured.
"Indeed. Won't you be a little wicked with me?"

Oh, hell yeah! You are SOOO gonna want to be just a little bit wicked with Marcus. This was my first time reading DeHart and you know, I really enjoyed this one. From the cover, which is gorgeous, to the set up for their relationship, the frustrations along the way and all the yummy, delicious kissing. It was just a wonderful read that's sure to delight the romance lover in you.

Yall know I love when authors do sometime just a little different with their characters and Marcus and Vivian were an excellent duo. She's in her mid-30s and actually 7 years older than he is! I love when that happens because it's just so... unexpected.

Marcus was an incredible hero. I absolutely loved him and seriously felt for the guy. He's been away for a decade and come home to find he's now the head of the family after his brother's passing, his sister has started a scandal and all the women in his life are pretty much intent on driving him mad. Including one Vivian March who has been called in to help the family sweep the brewing scandal under the rug. The ladies really gave him hell on pretty much everything.

There's an excellent little bit of history between Vivian and Marcus that I really enjoyed and that I thought added a nice touch to the relationship. I loved the banter and zing between them and that there was some heat to their interactions. And there were plenty of interactions as she decides he needs to marry in order to get the gossips' focus off his sister and on to him and sets about doing some matchmaking. He does need a wife after all to provide an heir for the title. A win-win situation, right? I mean if she can convince him that is. And oh that is not an easy task because once he set his sights on Vivian he wasn't going to be deterred from his goal. .

As much as I enjoyed Vivian, lordy, I wanted to hurt her when she kept turning Marcus down and brushing off his interest in her. She's hiding a lot of self esteem issues because of what happened to her in her youth. It was one of those things you can totally get why it would affect her but damn I just wanted her to get over it and jump the man already.

And on that front, lol, yall know I love a steamy book and I'll say the sex scenes between Vivian and Marcus were nice but damn the kissing was what got me. The kissing was GOOOOD. Like, make you tingle and pant just a bit good. I could have made it through the book with just that and been way more than content.

Overall, DeHart did an excellent job with A Little Bit Wicked. It's a nicely done romance that's enjoyable and entertaining and left me eager to read more from her. I'm really hoping the secondary characters like his sister and the "gentleman" she caused a scandal with will both pop up later on in the series. Final verdict? Go pick up a copy! You'll love it!

Marcus Kincaid has become the Earl of Ashford through the unfortunate death of his brother. Now he must clean up the mess his family has created in the short time it took him to leave his adventure tour guide career and get home. The person his family thinks can solve the problem of his sister’s indiscretion is a woman above reproach, Vivian March. Vivian is what could politely be termed an unmarried woman of a certain age who essentially has kept her reputation intact. Marcus is intrigued by her determination and drawn into the web of her beauty.

What Marcus has found in Vivian is a woman determined to solve one problem by creating a larger one for him. Vivian has decided he needs to get married and that is the last thing he would have ever considered. Marcus will play her game to find a wife, but with the understanding that the end goal is not marriage but the seduction of Vivian. Having been down this road with another smooth talking man Vivian is aware of how this will turn out and has no plans to engage in any tryst with Marcus. Vivian is trying to prepare for when Marcus turns on his charm to resist him but can she?

The past for both of them is pitted with ruts in the road but Marcus cares little for what polite society thinks while Vivian has built a career upon it. When the past has the potential to take the future away what will Vivian do, call the danger out or succumb it the demand.

You must spend as much time as possible with the series Robyn DeHart has created. The stories, one after another have the most exquisite characters wrapped around a splendid romantic love shared between two people that understand where love can lead you.

Series: Forbidden Love #1
Review:

"A Little Bit Wicked: Forbidden Love (Entangled: Scandalous)" by Robyn DeHart was a wonderfully written historical romance novel in 1876 London where women are held in 'high esteem.' "A Little Bit Wicked: Forbidden Love (Entangled: Scandalous)" is this authors first book in historical romance series. You will find from this fun read a lots will be going on such as 'secrets, scandals, blackmail and most of all love.' What will happen when a younger Lord( Marcus Kincaid , the Earl of Ashford) meets an older Lady, Vivian March)and fall in love? What was up with this 'Paragaon to Society' that Vivian was supposed to be? To find out this an a lots more you must pick up this good read "A Little Bit Wicked" to see how this author will present it all to the reader. From 'wickedness, desire, passion and scandal' you will be seating on the edge of your seat just waiting for what will come next. I thought all of the characters were well developed, colorful and very captivating only helping to produce such a well written story. My favorite part of this story was the scene toward the end where Vivian comes clean.

If you are into historical romances that may be a little wicked I would definitely recommend this series: "A Little Bit Wicked: Forbidden Love (Entangled: Scandalous)) to you as a excellent read.

"This book is more than a little bit wicked! It’s a tantalizingly sweet historical romance with characters that will make you swoon. Vivian March met the man she believed to be the love of her life when she was 24 where they shared a passionate kiss at a masquerade. When she discovers that she’s kissed the wrong man, she leaves quickly, ashamed of herself for making a huge mistake. For the next 10 years, she makes a life for herself as “The Paragon,” a woman brought in by families of note to bring their names back to the good graces of high society by correcting incidents of scandal. When she’s called upon by the Kincaid family, led by Marcus the Earl of Ashford, to solve the scandal problem of his sister, Clarissa, Vivian is brought face to face with the man she kissed so many years ago.

Full of blackmail, scandal, passion and true love, this book is absolutely delightful. The romance that transpires between Vivian and Marcus after 10 years is beautiful and incredibly sweet. The tenacity of Marcus and the vivacious strength of Vivian give this story depth and make it fun to get lost in. Their emotional journey to discover the happily ever after with each other brings a smile to your face and a warmth to your heart.

If you’re a fan of historical romance, this wicked little treat will definitely satisfy your needs!

This was a fast paced thoroughly entertaining book. I loved that Vivian was a mature, strong woman. I loved that Marcus wasn't the type to fight his feelings or his responsibilities. Right from the beginning I liked both of these characters. Vivian is a woman with a secret. She has lived her life not ignoring her past, but working "with" it. When everything comes to a head, Marcus turns out to be someone that she can rely on when she had thought she could never trust another man.

Without giving away any spoilers, I will say that the scene towards the end, where Vivian decides it's time to come clean about her past, is a very emotional, powerful scene. It was wonderful.

This book is also full of interesting background characters. I'm happy to know that we will be seeing at least a couple of them in Ms. DeHart's future books.

And as you know.. I'm an epilogue whore..and this book has a beautiful epilogue.

When I pick up a book by Robyn DeHart I always know I am in for a delightful read and will be thoroughly entertained for hours! A Little Bit Wicked was not exception. How can you be a little bit wicked? Well a great title for our two characters that show you how!
Vivian March thinks herself firmly on the shelf. But she has established as The Paragon, due to being able to work magic helping those who need scandals to be swept under the rug and lips sealed. She has had her own brush with both and she gets satisfaction on helping others.
What she doesn't expect is Marcus Kincaid, Earl of Ashford, who she had brief encounter of the kissing kind years ago! He needs her help with his younger sister's potential scandal.
Loved these those and Vivian not a simpering miss but a strong woman and Marcus is sigh worthy.
Sit back and enjoy the start of this new series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As I said, it is not the typical book where the girl is caught in something scandalous (like a kiss or three dances with the same man.) This woman did two scandalous things. The second was a kiss, and the first, much more. She spent the next ten years making a life for herself as the Paragon. Ten years later, she met up with the man she kissed and things got a bit more wicked from there. This book did have some mature scenes but they were not just gratuitous sex, they fit well into the story. This book is well written, I will certainly recommend this author and her stories.

Thanks Ms DeHart for a wonderfully put together book!

Written in the historical time when scandals and intrigue in society would make you or break you, Vivian March has been stuck in her own scandal for ten years while fixing the problems of everyone else. Until Marcus Kincaid shows up and has her all in a frenzy about her past.

This made a good fast paced love story, one I can read again and again.

A bit of scandal! A bit of misdirection! Old scandal, new scandal, new love. A great look at the standards of high society and the consequences of not following those standards. Vivian works on behalf of her "clients" who have fallen from those standards (even by that tiniest bit) while hiding her own secret. Marcus is determined to divert her attention. Great story!

There's nothing sweeter when someone from your past still remembers that sweet, innocent and passionate moment you shared together, even if it lasted like 5 min. :D (Well, they do say less is more) and there's is nothing more exhausting when he is NOT going to let you forget it.

At 24 Vivian fell in love. At a party she surprised her lover (in the dark) with a kiss. Only it wasn't him, but someone else. Marcus never forgot the surprise kiss. And Vivian's lover broke her heart. After this, she vowed to never fall in love again.
Over the next decade, she built herself a reputation as a "fixer" of sorts. She helps young women restore/rebuild their image/reputations. Marcus, the second son of an earl, went on adventures, leading tours to different places on different continents. He finds himself the earl after his brother's death. He is also now responsible for his younger sister Clarissa. Clarissa finds herself the subject of gossip after she is seen talking to the owner of a gaming hell. Enter Vivian.
Very nicely paced with a gradual friendship gradually blossoming into more. I also liked the age gap; Vivian is about 7 years older than Marcus. And when it came to the blackmailer, Vivian handled it on her own, in her own way. Nicely done.

Originally published at Book Lovers Inc.

I couldn't finish this one. It's not even that long, but I still couldn't do it. At the 60% mark I just couldn't take it anymore.

The heroine, Vivian March, is 34 by the time of the story, and she keeps going on and on (and on) that she must be wearing a "Scarlet W" or the equivalent. That every man who sees her must somehow be able to sense that she is secretly a "wanton woman".

In spite of the fact that for the past decade she has made her living as "The Paragon"--the woman who sweeps everyone else's scandals under the carpet. And that no man has even bothered to do more than mildly flirt with her in ages.

Her breakdown in mental acuity is all because Marcus Kincaid is back in town, and he not only knows that she isn't the paragon of virtue society believes she is, but he is determined to prove it to her at every available private opportunity.

One evening, long ago, Vivian kissed Marcus passionately, believing that he was the man she was betrothed to. The man she had already compromised herself with. That's the problem with masked assignations, you often don't realize your catastrophic mistakes until it is far too late.

Her supposed betrothed left for the continent that evening, and Vivian was lucky--she was not pregnant. She hasn't seen him since, but she is just sure he'll be back some day to ruin her reputation.

She hadn't seen Marcus since that night either. He left to travel the world as a leader for an adventure exploration company, but now he's back. His brother has died, and now, instead of being the spare, he's the Earl.

He's never forgotten that kiss. But when the scandal that his younger sister has created requires the services of "The Paragon", he's astonished to discover that it is the woman who stole his senses for one all too brief moment so long ago.

Marcus is determined to re-experience that moment, and make sure it lasts, this time. Maybe forever.

Verdict: DNF As I said at the beginning, I gave up. This is the first time I've just given up on a book I'm supposed to review, but I just couldn't stand Vivian's dithering another page. She is supposed to be 34, not 17.

The concept of this story was good. I liked the idea of a scandal-sweeper. It may or may not have been historically accurate, but it made for an interesting premise. And Marcus' background was fascinating. That a man who was intended to be the spare and not the heir would be leading adventure tours had to come home and suddenly be the Earl, made him a very different hero. He didn't want the title. He loved the travel and the adventure and being away from society. But he knew his duty and loved his sister and knew what was required. Even if it hurt him quite a bit to give up a life he really loved.

It was obvious that Vivian's old flame was going to come back and attempt to ruin things. The cat-and-mouse game he was playing started too soon and dragged out far too long. It got boring and so did Vivian's melodramatic reaction to it.

But what killed it for me was that I didn't sympathize with Vivian. At 34, she should have known her own mind. Or body. She was experienced. Not just sexually, although not much at that. The villain was clearly not very good at it. But Vivian was very experienced in the way society worked. She'd built her reputation for over a decade, and he was a nobody. Gone to the continent. She should have been able to outface him easily. Or simply blackmail her former clients into submission, because the secrets she knew were truly damning, and she had actual proof.

On the other hand, blaming her behavior with Marcus on a spell or mind-control, then thinking that everyone could see her secret wanton-ness, she just got ridiculous. She was not just an adult, but a woman of 34. She should have acted like one. Not a simpering chit fresh from the schoolroom.

The Grinch gives A Little Bit Wicked 1/2 star for the Epic Fail.

Robin DeHart's A Little Bit Wicked is just that, a little wicked. It's a romantic story, not too long, not too short, that revolves around mistakes, keeping them a secret and finding someone who will accept you even with your past mistakes and flaws.

Vivian March, otherwise known as The Paragon, is the person families go to when they need help avoiding scandal. For all appearances, Vivian is not the perfect, proper lady every one thinks she is. She's guarding her own secret, a mistake she made when she was young and thought she was in love. Vivian is a character that everyone can identify with. We've all made mistakes, some of them we've tried desperately to cover up. Remember feeling like at any moment someone would discover your secret and tell every one? She's a brave character, most women would have banished themselves to the country but not Vivian, she does the best she can to move on and help others.

Then there's Marcus Kincaid. He's come home after years in Africa to find out two things: His elder brother has died, making him the Earl of Ashford and his sister is only a few steps away from a full blown scandal and his aunt has asked Vivian March to come to their aid. He has traded one jungle for another and finds himself outnumbered by stubborn females who have apparently, gotten along fine without him and aren't too pleased that he now wants to assume control of the family. As if that's not enough, when he meets Vivian he suddenly remembers her.. She mistakenly kissed him at a masked ball 10 years ago. That she pretends not to remember really aggravates him.

So at first it's Marcus' male ego that causes him to pursue Vivian but he quickly finds out that she is something special and begins to pursue her because he is genuinely interested in her. The two of them play a bit of a cat and mouse game for awhile that is filled with passionate kisses and whispered promises.

A Little Bit Wicked is moderately paced, never dwelling on unimportant facts or unnecessary scenes. It was refreshing to read about a heroine who is NOT a young, fresh faced miss but a mature woman of 34. She's somewhat independent, well, as independent as a woman could be in those times, but she's not as tough as she comes across. She lives in fear that her secret will come out and ruin her. Giving Vivian moments of insecurity and fear made her more realistic. She was so consumed with guilt over her youthful mistake that she started imagining that everyone could secretly see her shame. Her fear and guilt made me sympathize with her.

Marcus and Vivian's romance is not as passionate as it could have been, most times it was overshadowed by Vivian's fear that her secret would be discovered and Marcus would reject her. She always held something of herself back. The result is a handful of encounters that build in intensity but never quite explode into fireworks. A Little Bit Wicked is more about forgiving past mistakes and the emotional connection formed between two characters who don't entirely belong in the world.

A Little Bit Wicked is the first book in Robyn DeHart's Forbidden Love series. I really liked this charming regency romance. It has a lot to offer : a unique couple , scandal , secrets , blackmail, romance and passion. What more could you want ?
Vivien March knows all the secrets that the ton keeps hidden. She gathers those secrets around her while hoping to keep her own lusty secrets buried . Ten years ago a young Vivien gave her innocence to a low-down dirty scoundrel who took her love and then skipped out on her. Vivien was devastated but she hid her secrets and built a new life of helping others to bury their own mistakes. She always feared that her secrets would one day come back to haunt her. The time has come when she is called upon to extricate a young lady from a sticky situation. Vivien comes face to face with a man from her past.
Adventurer Marcus Kinkaid has returned to England for the first time in ten years. Only to learn that his brother, the Earl, is dead . Marcus is now the Earl and responsible for the family. To make matters worse his young sister is on the verge of ruin. Alas, the family has already called in Vivien March - the Paragon - and the premier problem solver to the ton. Marcus and Vivien have met before. A moonlight kiss , long ago. Marcus has never forgotten Vivien or that scorching kiss. He vows to have her in his bed. Can he entice her into wickedness ?
Vivien is afraid to trust her heart to another man. She has the bright idea that by finding Marcus a bride she will be safe from his advances. But why does she feel such jealousy whenever Marcus shows interest in other women ? Does she dare take a chance on love again ? This story is not without intrigue. Just as Vivien is finally ready to put her heart on the line ...her own secrets put her sterling reputation at risk.
Marcus and Vivien are a unique couple. I loved their May / December relationship. Marcus was a hero after my own heart. He pursued his lady with a passion. They both made their share of mistakes. But who doesn't ? Their fairy tale ending made it all worth it.
I recommend this book and look forward to the next book in the series.

Thanks to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for letting me review this book.

Vivian March is known to the ton as The Paragon, and she helps members of society who have committed indiscretions to stop the gossip and make the scandal disappear. If they only knew that she had been ruined when she was younger, by a man who promised her everything and then deserted her. But that is a secret that she has buried deep, and no one will ever know of it, even as she resigns herself to spinsterhood. When Marcus Kincaid, the new Earl of Ashford, asks for her help for a little problem concerning his sister, he finds he’s so attracted to her that he wants to commit some indiscretions of his own. As Marcus pursues Vivian and she tries to fight the attraction, they both discover what truly matters the most to them, and it isn’t what they had always thought they wanted. I really enjoyed this story, both main characters were complex and believable and I was especially intrigued that Vivian was several years older than Marcus. I so wanted them to work things out and loved the satisfying conclusion.

I really liked this book . Loved vivian as a strong woman, in a time when women were suppose to be weak . she stood out to me . marcus was the kind of man any woman could fall head over heels for and drop their knickers. Just reading who she tried to do everything in her power to not fall for the gentlman is quite good and actually funny at times.I couldnt put it down and i reccomend this book to anyone who wants to escape to another time and place for an romance and true love in a different time

This book is A Little Bit Wicked. I have to admit I haven't read many historical romance because well I though they would be boring. But that isn't the case in this book. The author threw in romance, mystery and some heat. This was my first book I have ever read of Robyn DeHart and defiantly not going to be my last.
