A Call to Pray

Pastor Lee, thank you for pouring yourself into these pages and encouraging every young pastor, house of prayer leader, and missionary to press into God in the place of prayer for His purposes in their city and region. I’m finishing this book feeling a renewed passion for the prayer room and energy to fight through discouragement and accusations to give up. Thank you!

I love the connections to Bible history that were made in this book. I did not at all expect to start diving into the story of David and I certainly didn't expect for Act to be connected to David's story but the author succeeded in using those stories to make solid points about the need for the presence of God in our day to day living (personally and corporately) and the impact His presence has on all things related to life.

The comparisons between the western Christianity and Christianity in the East were humbling and inspiring.

Other pros: This Book is short, factual, and to the point. I read it in two nights. I appreciate the author's transparency in sharing about successful and "failed attempts" in different ministry ventures. I wish the book were longer. I'm sure there is much more we could learn from the Lee Cummings and his time in ministry.

It's Time To Pray!

This book will motivate you to remember and to recall our identity according to God's Word and what He has commissioned us to do as the eklesia, i.e. the Church, the called out ones. The Book was very easy to read and understand, and cause you to put to action what the Author presented!
