Oh my goodness :) this book is perfect for every little baseball fan. I decided to read it since its playoffs and I'm rooting four my favorite teams. I think every little boy or girl who loves baseball need to read this sweet, nostalgic book!
Frustrating to read aloud since it inexplicably changes rhyme scheme halfway through from more of a singsong rhyme to the Goodnight Moon style. But still, the pictures are awesome and it's a must have for any under 6 baseball fan.
Another in Sports Illustrated Kids' Goodnight Sports series, this one is a little easier to get into than Goodnight Football, as it requires less knowledge of the sport to understand.

This delightful book shares everything this young lad loves about baseball. It shares plenty of sports terms and ends with him sleeping peacefully, most likely dreaming about baseball. This is the perfect bedtime book and we recommend it for children 2 to 7 years old. Read more reviews at www.taneishakemp.com.

Goodnight Baseball is a great book for people of all ages who are fans of baseball. It is a wholesome book that allows the reader to follow the perspective of a young fan who is attending the game. This book allows the reader to dive into the best moments of a baseball game and allow them to visualize what their experience could be if they were to attend a game.
A young boy and his dad go to a baseball game where the boy learns all about baseball, eats popcorn and hot dogs, and watches the team win the game! After the game, it is evening, and the boy falls asleep on the way home. As he goes to bed, he says "goodnight" to all of the baseball words he learned during the game. The book reminds me of "Goodnight, Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown. Very sweet!
An adorable book for any baseball loving kids. It has a catchy rhyme pattern, very similar to Goodnight Moon. Teaches a lot of baseball vocabulary and is easy for kids to memorize. My 3 year old could recite it by heart after a few weeks. Lots of detail in the illustrations. Not really any other theme or lesson in the book—simply a story for kids that love baseball.
He a sports nut--at 2 yrs old. Anything with a ball yet i was surprised he really loves this book. The pix are lifelike as opposed to cartoon so I thought he'd be bored. Not
