Hi! I'm Steve Vernon and I'd love to scare you. Along the way I'll entertain you. I guarantee a giggle as well.
If I listed all of the books I've written I'd bore you - and I am allergic to boring.
Instead, let me recommend one single book of mine.
Pick up SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME for an example of true Steve Vernon storytelling. It's hockey and vampires for folks who love hockey and vampires - and for folks who don't!
If you’re wondering if the action-suffused adventure and thrills of Episode One can be maintained, wonder no more. If possible, Episode Two has even more action, more surprises, more “I can’t believe they did that!” than Episode One. I literally could not stop reading. Now, of course, I have to stop reading for two weeks!! I’m so impatient-guess I could reread Episode One and Episode Two again and again. I’ll tell you one thing: if I ever get in a world-ending crunch like this one, I hope I have a sixteen-year-old hero like Briar Gamble on my side.
I received an e-book copy from the author in return for my fair and impartial review. I'm sure he's not surprised that I am a total convert and avid fan.
Flash Virus: Episode 2 picks up right where Episode 1 left off. This installment has more action, thrills, and evil than the first. Captain Albino and his stormtroopers have taken over Briar Gamble's high school, and all the students are being held prisoner.
I am really enjoying this series. So far each installment has left me wanting to read more. Steve Vernon does a great job in giving voice to his main character, Briar. I really feel for this kid and the predicament he finds himself in. Briar has already shown signs of bravery and loyalty.
