Sheridan Winn lives in Norfolk, England, where she was born. She is known for her fantasy adventure series, The Sprite Sisters, which has sold over half a million books. A major feature film - Vier Zauberhafte Schwestern - was released in 2020. It was produced by blue eyes fiction and distributed by Disney Deutschland.
The idea for the Sprite Sister books popped into Sheridan’s head, late one night. She was very lucky to be able to find a publisher, Piccadilly Press, who liked her idea and gave her a contract to write the first book, The Circle of Power.
This was followed by The Magic Unfolds, The Secret of the Towers, The Ghost in the Tower, New Magic, The Boy With Hawk-like Eyes, Magic at Drysdale's School and The Mystery of the Locked Door. The books are best read in sequence but are stand-alone stories.
There are currently eight English-language Sprite Sister titles published by Sheridan Winn Limited and available as paperbacks and as e-books for Kindle. The German titles – of which there are 14 – are published by Fischer Verlag. (Ten titles in the main series and four prequel stories).
Vol 9, A Wisdom of Owls, and Vol 10, The Power of Four (the final story), will be published in English language in due course.
The eldest of four sisters, Sheridan Winn grew up in a rambling country house and many of the elements in the Sprite stories come from her own childhood. The stories are deeply rooted in the landscape of Norfolk and every location is somewhere real.

Wie auch der erste Teil schon, eine super süße Geschichte über Magie, Freundschaft, Familie, und die Kraft von Zusammenhalt. Habe es sehr genossen zu lesen, und freue mich auf den nächsten Teil. Trotzdem - ich hätte es wohl besser vor ein paar Jahren gelesen, und dann etwas lieber gemocht.

Ähnlich wie der erste Band hat mich auch dieses Buch damals sehr gefesselt. Ich musste wissen, was es mit dem magischen Stein auf sich hat und wie die Schwestern das Geheimnis lösen würden ...
Für junge Magie-Liebende Menschen lässt sich diese Reihe einfach nur empfehlen. Eine absolute Wohlfühlreihe!

Vier Zauberhafte Schwestern by Sheridan Winn
Have you ever dreamed of having magic powers? Making objects fly in the air? Or make water freeze and melt? The four sisters in the book Vier Zauberhafte Schwestern und der Magische Stein by Sheridan Winn have those powers.
Sky, Flora, Marina and Flame all have magic powers. Sky can make objects fly in the air, Flora can find hidden objects in the ground, and plant plants, Marina can make water freeze and melt, and Flame can make a fire, or make things burn. The four sisters can only use their powers to make goods things happen. One day, they find a rock, which will help them save Cantrip Towers, the house they live in. One evening, everything turns dark. Glenda, a women who uses her powers to make bad things happen, wants to destroy Cantrip Towers. She breaks windows, makes holes in the roof, and let lamps fall down. Finally the sisters remember the rock. Will they save Cantrip Towers, before it's to late? You have to read the book to find out.
I really liked the book because it was really exiting and scary. The book made me read till midnight. My favorite part is when Glenda destroys Cantrip Towers, because the sisters work together as a team, to save their house. My favorite character is Sky, because she is the youngest, and I think she has the best magic powers.
I recommend this book to 4th graders and up. If you love reading magic and adventures books, you should definitely read it. This book makes you feel like you are one of the characters that are in the book.
