Examining topics such as cultural, economic, environmental, political and historical geography, this text introduces students to the multi-faceted field of human geography which highlights the relationships between human beings and their interaction with the natural environment within varying spatial locations.

什麼學科講到人文就基本上是大哉問，人文兩字包涵的範圍太大了，用這種無邊無際的基礎來談地理，實際上很難不流入雜談，這和平時與朋友東扯西拉聊天其實沒什麼太大分別，因為當一門學科的變數太多時，並沒法理出一個完整的理論來讓人認可依循，東一個辭彙西一句名言的方式充其量只是灌水，對真的想理解地理、歷史、人文、氣候真的幫助不大就是了，當成閒書殺殺時間可以，想要深入就不太可能了。
