This was a good read and gave me much to think about. I don't agree with everything in it, which is often the case with any book that is not fiction (or a reliable historical book). Like most books you have to take from it what is useful and just forget about the stuff that isn't.
If you need a bit of a wake-up to the fact that we are currently in a spiritual battle, then this is definitely a good book to read.
I kind of felt like this could be a book written to explain "This present darkness" and how to effectively stand firm in the faith and be useful in the battle. I enjoy any book that turns my mind from the things of this world to the oh so much more important things of God.
As an added afterthought, I particularly liked the chapter on worrying ( chapter 7) and put into practice some of what I learnt in the last week and what a difference it made 🥰

I'm so glad I read this book. I picked this up after reading a frank peretti book and reading lots about spiritual warfare and so I felt led to pick this up off our shelf and learn more about how to actually engage in those battles.
I was also praying recently about how I wanted to know more about the armor of God and how we are meant to put it on and what it actually means, and that was answered in this book.
This book really emphasized to me the importance of prayer and the importance of praying things in Jesus' name and applying the blood of Jesus in situations.
However, there were some things I didn't completely agree with or thought were a little far-fetched, but I am unsure whether it is because of my upbringing in a presbyterian church and haven't yet changed my mind on these matters, because Larry Lea could be completely correct - or whether there is actually going a bit too far.
It's one of those book I think you need to take with a grain of salt and to also have somewhat of a good biblical worldview to read this with some form of discernment, so I can read the bits I'm unsure about and let God speak to me through the bits I completely agree with.
Either way i feel more equipped to be part of spiritual battles, which is something I've definitely struggled with in the past, especially with big moments in my walk with God, like when I've shared the gospel with friends or shared my testimony at church - I've always woken up that day/ the next morning and felt depressed and felt so insecure which I believe have been spiritual attacks. I hope next time I will be more ready to fight and to be stronger through prayer.

This was an awesome book. Utterly inspiring, it makes me want to fight the good fight. Chapters 8 and 9 were especially good, on marching in your testimony and binding the strongman. It woke me up to the realms of darkness and has provoked me to attack them, not to merely defend myself from them

This is a book the devil does not want you to read. It exposes his lies and his strategies
