A novelette written from the point of view of the main character's fiery best friend, Connie Hebert. This short story is to be read in between "Unforeseen: A Green Bayou Novel Book Four" and "Deceived: A Green Bayou Novel Book Five" (To be released March 2013)
If you are Green Bayou fan, then this short novelette was a treat for you! It was awesome to hear Connie's side of view and get that major bombshell dropped on you that you never saw in a million years coming! (Well, I didn't see it coming!) My only compliant about it was it was too short!!
Although I read this out of order when I was blowing through the series. I can't get enough of the characters. They seem so real & maybe that's why I love these books so much more than others. Such amazing books. i just can't rave enough about them. Recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous series.
Connie is so refreshing and witty! I missed my Green Bayou family! It's amazing how this little short story had such a huge impact on the series. I guess we can compare this book to Connie - small, fierce, funny and surprising! "But I wuv da baby!" Love it!!
It was so refreshing to see Connie's view!! So funny, witty & again full of surprises!! Love the inside scoop of her intimate life! Looking forward to more from the Green Bayou hotties!
Rhonda Dennis never fails to make me smile. She writes wonderful quirky characters being their wonderful quirky selves like nobody's business! This little nibble of a story just made my day.
This was a great little hit between novel 4 & 5. With every new book I'm more drawn in. I'm in love with this series! The writing flows so well I can live in the events.
That short story packed an intense punch! Lol I love the elf comment!!! Again literally laughing out loud that my kids thought I was nuts! Is it March 1st yet?! I can't wait!
OMG!! WOW!! I've ALWAYS loved Connie but this just intensified the feeling! To say I was SHOCKED by the events in this novella is an understatement!! It's the perfect addition to lead into book #5! I can't wait for more!
I thought this being a short between books in the series that it wouldn't be as good. Boy was I wrong it is hilarious and it made me love Connie so much more.
