With nothing more to guide her than a training manual and United States security agents who watch her every move, Ashlee feels like a fish out of water. The suspect has an uncanny ability to disappear every time anyone gets close enough to capture him, and Ashlee knows she will need more than a pencil, paper, and laptop to track him down. Soon, however, she discovers her computer has been bugged, an onboard camera has been hacked, and a suspicious object has been placed under her desk - leading Ashlee to the conclusion that the operation is much more dangerous than she ever realized. In this gripping thriller, Ashlee must attempt to pinpoint whom exactly she can trust before it is too late, for she is about to discover that she is not only the hunter but also the hunted.

Pretty fun read. The last half is where stuff gets going. The protagonist is whiny, but knows her stuff. I read the last 90 pages in 100 mins. I found it engrossing and the subject matter a bit different. It's quite obvious where this other ranks on the political spectrum, but the remote viewer theme was refreshing.

I would suggest running it past an editor before the next reprint, though. George's writing is promising when he's describing Ashlee's "viewings", but it really falls short otherwise. It seems like he had a lot more to say and perhaps didn't have as much time as he had hoped to finish the book. Typos abound, too, which makes it difficult to trust the writer.
