The Science of Reincarnation is a science book dealing with the different elements and new discoveries that now allows reincarnation to meet the clinical definition as set by Kuhn in the structure of scienctific revolutions as a true science. Beginning with real world observations of children who claim prior life experiences, past life regression and near death experiences this book explains how the scientific model is explaining what we see. Non locality in subatominc experiments now give a scientific explaination of psi and clairvoyanace, and fratal geometry and statistics now give us a structure and probability that was not available before.
This is an enjoyable book for anyone looking for a better understanding into how modern day research is being linked to the study of reincarnation. I do take issue with some of Good’s use of language. Good emphatically insists throughout the book that he’s aiming to take a scientific, critical approach on the subject, but then he conveniently loses his scientific skepticism at certain points. During these moments he’ll make unscientific conclusions when discussing a research study like “how could there not be reincarnation?” (when I can think of several potential confounding variables). On a positive note, it provides the reader with lots of other titles to investigate should he or she like to learn more about the topic.
Slowly and carefully the author explores the. Studies in several fields and shows how that the results that are consistent and impossible to be by chance!
