I saw this one on tiktok and I was okay im down.
I would have dnf it on chapter one we see Hunter fuck someone. So if you wanna skip that just go to chapter 2 lol. There are no scenes with anyone else beside the h. So he's harden his heart because Jade aka Sassy "betrayed" him. He was 19 and didnt even question anything he left her. What he didn't know was his father blackmailed and used her abused, raped, sold her to another man. She only did the abuse because the father threaten to kill Hunter and she was saving him. Thinking he would return and ask questions and save her. 😭😭😭
Until 10 years later when he finds her chained up in trafficking. He does a 360 in "hating" her and Jade tries to harden her heart.
Now I'll be honest I think Jades recovery was glazed over super fast.. she didn't have enough time to heal before she did sexual stuff with Hunter.. and im side eyeing willow and Mia they said one thing but never pushed Hunter to take it easy with Jade. When they were in the same spot.
Beside that they had alot of Jade pushing away which was understandable. It took them a minute to come together. When they did they were so good. The spice was delicious.
Would I read the pervious couples idk maybe.

I was not expecting a plot like this when I received this ARC. I love everything forbidden and taboo, so this was so yummy to read!! This was an EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER. But if you don't read it, you'll regret it!!

ARC REVIEW!!!!
This is my first Chelle book and boy did it just hit all the right places! I wasn't sure how I was going to like the book because second chance romance isn't my favorite trope, but I love how this one was written.
Hunter Hayden has a mouth of the gods. With all the lovely Greek Gods is Hunter right there with all of his tattooed glory. This man had me melting at the seams from page one. He is also a glorified alphahole... I am living for it *chefs kiss*
I loved how Hunter is the badass assassin, but still the sweet teenage boy that Jade fell in love with. Hunter reminds me of a grumpy care bear. He was big ol grump until Jade came rushing with her sassy mouth and unfiltered thoughts.
Jade is one of my favorite girls. Seeing how she was willing to face everything head on and put her grumpy ass hat in his place had me laughing so hard!! She also was always ready to face her fights head on and knew what she deserved when it came to her vengeance.
I can't wait to read more of Chelle's books!

Whenever I get to read a book from Chelle, I know I better not have plans or anything that needs to get done because I will sit down and binge the book. Unchained is book three in the Dark Desires series and it brings us Hunter and Jade's story. While this van be read as a standalone, I recommend reading them in order because they are interlocking. This story will have your emotions all over the place. It's angsty, full of heartbreak, and absolutely phenomenal. I loved Jade. Even after all the bad things that have happened to her, she still is a fighter. And Hunter, I loved him also. We've read about him in the other books, but now we finally get to know him better. If you want a book that will completely consume your life and thoughts, this one will do just that. I can't wait to read Undone.

How this book has so many 5 star reviews is beyond me. I rarely dnf books, I've probably only done it 2 or 3 times before but this book was so horrendous it makes me angry.
I love a good tatted alphahole with a pierced dick but Hunter sucked. Jade/Sassy is literally a victim and has been abused and raped her entire adult life. He rescues her and is immediately thinking about fucking her, how do you find the woman you love chained, beaten and starved and as you help her think about sex ? No being distraught or feeling like a failure for not protecting her like a normal hero would do no immediately thinking about fucking her. He feels so little remorse for how she was treated and I'm supposed to believe he loves her? He should have been absolutely gutted at finding her like that and sex should have been the last thing on his mind
The first time they do have sex is because she wants to leave and is so desperate to be free because hello she's been a prisoner her entire adult life, I mean for fuck sakes there's a whole scene where she has alcohol for the first time. This man actually takes her up on it and then reveals he never intended on setting her free which idk if that still makes her consent valid. Also he called her a "whore" during it and why he would do that is beyond me. Saying her healing and trauma were brushed past quickly is an understatement.
Willow and Mia wtf? They were meant to speak to Jade and help her but essentially said "hey girl you're not in the basement anymore so stop being a pussy and get over your 10 year imprisonment".
Nobody helped this girl recover at all. Hunter essentially became a new owner for her. She's been a captive her entire life and even asks him to let her go but he can't because he loves her oh so very much. He has zero patience with her and gets angry that this VICTIM has trouble trusting him!? He gets angry at her for running when she sees her abuser😭 what was she supposed to do Hunter? Offer him a seat and lunch? Fuck you Hunter 😒
I wanted to finish the book just to see what he does to his father to get revenge for Sassy and see if that would save the book for me but honestly not even the promise of revenge could get me to torture myself for a moment longer.
Also Hunter supposedly regularly saves girls from trafficking so how he could have no sympathy or patience for Jade baffles me probably the most out of anything else in this book.
I'm probably rambling but this book annoyed me so much and istg I'm scared it's put me into a slump

This book is amazing addition to this phenomenal series! This story is filled with so much gut-wrenching emotional turmoil that everyone of your emotions will be tested to their limits but it is so worth it! This is a story of redemption, revenge, love, and freedom!! You will fall so hard for these amazing characters who will leave lasting imprints on your heart!!
Jade & Hunter have been through so much and their journey to rediscovery each other as the people they are now is such an incredible journey!! Jade has been tortured, beaten, violated, and beaten down to where she had no reason to go on! Until she is reunited with Hunter the one person she never thought she’d see again! Now that he is here she doesn’t know what to feel or what to do. She must break free or she’ll be forever chained to the memories that could destroy her!!
Hunter’s eyes must be playing tricks on him because he can’t believe that the woman he was meant to be with is in front of him beaten and chained to the wall in a basement! Why is she here?? How did she get here?? What have they done to her?? Most importantly…who does he need to kill??
Now that she is with him and safe he will stop at nothing to bring her redemption and revenge! He will not stop till everyone who hurt has paid for their actions!! He has to convince Jade that she is safe with him and that he would never hurt her!

Unchained Dark Desires book #3 ) wow just wow !!! Chelle Rose truly as outdone herself once again and delivered another unforgettable and unputdownable addition to what is genuinely becoming one of my all time favorite series . I really was not prepared for all the crazy emotions I was going to feel while reading Hunter and Jades journey . There were moments I found myself utterly speechless and moments I literally wanted to throw my iPad clear across the room outta sheer frustration. My heart would be breaking one second and then the next I was glued to the edge of my seat and anticipating what was to come . In short it was like being on one crazy and emotional ride .Hunter and Jades story is anything but easy . It’s dark and raw and gritty . It’s filled with angst , love , passion , trauma and tragedy , twists and turns, second chances , drama , revenge , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments , family , friendships and some of the most captivating, unique and multi layered characters you’ll ever meet . I am a sucker for a great dark romance especially one with Morally Grey Alphaholes who are possessive and obsessive- well Hunter is 100% all of the above . Unchained is a must read , a masterpiece that will keep you up well into the early morning hours and leave you dead on your feet the next day !!! But man is it worth it

Unchained, the third book in the Dark Desires series by Chelle Rose is a definite must read for any dark, taboo, mafia loving, second chance at love romance fan out there! This is a standalone, but if you read the first two it might make more sense, as some of the characters carry over. This is the story of high school sweethearts, Jade and Hunter, who find themselves ruthlessly torn apart…only to be reconnected later on under dubious crazy circumstances.
Jade, our FMC, has lived quite the life. Forced to leave the love of her life to marry a man she never wanted, she finds herself questioning life and everything she thought she once knew. Hunter has been in love with Jade since the first time he saw her when they was kids, they was high school sweethearts. So imagine his surprise when he comes home one day to find out the love of his life is marrying his dad, but is all as it seems?
Hunter lives a life of killing, fucking and avoiding any and all emotions but what happens when he walks into a basement and see’s Jade chained to a wall?
I was obsessed with Hunter and fell in love with him instantly. I Love the family dynamic with Hunters friends and how they was so welcoming and understanding with Jade.
I was a bit sceptical when I read the blurb of this book and honestly it took some encouraging to start reading, but once I started I couldn’t stop. I saw a few of the twists coming but the final twist honestly surprised me so much and I loved that I didn’t see it coming. I highly recommend this book!

I Absolutely loved hunter and Jade, the story line is deep and dark!!
Chelle really took us on a rollercoaster of a journey with this one!!
Hunter has known for a long time that he's loved jade ever since they were young, he knew one day he would marry her, that was until he came home one day and was told she would marry his father 😱😱 he up and left never looking back, he wondered through life barley living just surviving!!
So many years later he shows up at triggs house he never in a million years expected to find jade there, he goes straight into protective mode, letting her know that no one will ever hurt her again!!
After all the horrible things Jade goes through she comes back fighting, Hunter is a strong, he fits so well with Jade the strength he gives her is so awesome!!

Chelle really took us on a rollercoaster of a journey with this one!!
Hunter has known for a long time that he's loved jade ever since they were young, he knew one day he would marry her, that was until he came home one day and was told she would marry his father 😱😱 he up and left never looking back, he wondered through life barley living just surviving!!
So many years later he shows up at triggs house he never in a million years expected to find jade there, he goes straight into protective mode, letting her know that no one will ever hurt her again!!
After all the horrible things Jade goes through she comes back fighting, Hunter is a strong, he fits so well with Jade the strength he gives her is so awesome!!

What can I say but WTF have I just read !!! Are writers really so desperate to fill books with smut that they forget reality.

All the FMC’s have suffered years of abuse, degradation, rape, physical and emotional abuse: two of them as young as four and yet we are expected to believe that the minute they get saved they are happy to jump into sexual relationships. That they totally accept MMC’s who under the guise of ‘loving them’, treat them no better than their abusers. Who apparently spend their lives killing others who abuse women but it’s ok for them to lock the FMC’s up, tell them they below to them, do the whole ‘this pu**y is mine’ crap and fu*k them like they are just holes to fill.
But as a reader you’re suppose to accept these brutalised women after years of abuse, can think of nothing else but getting fu*cked!
Why have trigger warnings when the writer doesn’t even give her FMC’s the respect to have any triggers after years and years of abuse. Apparently all abused women need to recover is a cock that’s attached to a narcissistic ‘he man’.
Please remember don’t kill the messenger… this is just my view.

This is book 3 in the Dark Desires series. The story was really interesting, the MMC is an assassin who loved the FMC when they were younger before she married his dad. As mad as this sounds there is a whole story behind it. The book itself has so many twists and turns you don’t know what to expect next.
The MMC could be seen as an assh*** at first, he seems to be obsessed with the FMC he barely lets her breathe when she is rescued. Which some may find annoying (He could smother me all he wants 😝) and spoiler alert he has a pierced 🍆 and who doesn’t love that in a book boyfriend 😏
My only wish is would be that we seen her develop separately from him after she was rescued would have been nice to see, she was captive for a long time and some might think she leaves one prison to go to another. But on the other hand you can see his love and heartbreak throughout the book that it probably wouldn’t have added much to either character.
Another new author for me but I will be reading the other books in this series as I really enjoyed the authors writing style.

Another triumph!
Chelle Rose knows how to give us angst and heartbreak wrapped all lovingly in an all encompassing story. And the story does consume you!
At the end of book 2 in this series we see Hunter along with his colleagues rescue a woman who has been kept prisoner, we knew then that there was a lot more to their story as recognition passed across his face.
We find out that Jade (Sassy) was Hunter’s girlfriend when he was at school and the love of his life, only to be told one day that she was marrying his dad. DEVASTATION! That is the only way to describe what he felt but unknown to Hunter, Jade was coerced into that marriage and always thought that he would come and rescue her.
We find out so many harrowing things that have happened to Jade over the last decade and Hunter wants to avenge those who wronged her (including his own father). Jade and Hunter find it difficult to communicate with each other and at times this is a barrier for their relationship. But eventually love is the key!
As with all this series from Chelle the book comes with trigger warnings and you need to read them before diving in. But if you can handle it, it’s so worth the ride that the story takes you!
Once again well done Chelle, you have given us a truly emotional journey with this couple.

I have read for Chelle Rose prior to this and I will say she does not disappoint 🙌.
This book we get to know Hunter and Jade and omg Hunter is absolutely stubby he is so in love with Jade (Sassy) he has never stopped loving her or wanting her. Jade is rescued at the end of the last book by Hunter. For 10years he thought she wanted his father but that was so far from the truth.
I loved the way Hunter was so supportive with Jade but she pushed him a bit he would become possessed with need.
This book was amazing 🤩 and an emotional roller coaster.

Unchained is the 3rd book in the Dark Desires series. This is a standalone, but after reading it I think, for me personally, I need to go back and read the 1st two books. I really enjoyed this read. It really took me for a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The character build is amazing, and I loved the storyline. It’s a captivating dark story about two people who have loved each other since they were kids, but things happened, and choices were made. I really can’t wait to read more books by Chelle Rose.

Third book in the series and it’s s Hunters turn. Absolutely loved him and Jade, the story line is deep and dark and written fantastically. After all the horrible things poor Jade goes through she comes back fighting. What I did really love though is how she came back it was done over time and not rushed it seemed realistic to some other books I’ve read, Hunter is a strong dominant character and he fits so well with Jade the strength he gives her is so good and I love how strong she was at the end. Can’t wait for book 4!

This book did not disappoint. The story and the title match perfectly. At the same time this book will rip your heart out and put it back together. Hunter and Jade needed their happy ending after years of struggle. The strength Jade showed was admirable and I loved that for her. Jade deserved the world. Hunter was lost and didnt see the end of his tunnel until that night. Hunters care you felt through the pages and his love for Jade bled. This couple had a longing. They didnt have a purpose till it all fell into place. Seriously this book was so good.

This was my first read by this author and wow let me tell you this book was amazing!!! Please check the trigger warnings before swan diving off into this book! The plot was amazing and the spice was everything y’all!! While this is a standalone I would recommend going back and starting with the first book in the series. I started with this one (Book 3) and I understood the whole story so it is a standalone however I loved the author so much that I went back and started from the beginning and I wish I had started there! I 10 out of 10 recommend this book yall!

I haven’t read the first two books in this series but started this one and wasn’t really a fan of the two main characters. While I understand the FMC was going through it she was just so wishy washy towards Hunter. I was just screaming through the screen like woman make up your mind lol the plot was okay and that was the only reason I finished it I just didn’t connect to the main characters as much as I wanted too.

Yet another great book in this series. Hunter and Jade experience many challenges both together and apart. Hunter saves her from his own father and then never wants to leave her after to keep her safe. They have to work at coming back together after Jade's trauma. This continues to be a great series and keeps me coming back for more from this author! Keep up the great work! I am definitely looking forward to more!!

This starts off with a bang and ends with a bang!! It's book 3 and boy oh boy do I love Hunter! His dominant ways are off the charts!!! Even though it has triggers and is difficult to read at certain parts of the story, it's written beautifully and the love story is phenomenal. This author has quickly became one of my top 5 authors. The storyline is easy to follow. I can't explain how this book felt while I was reading but I definitely didn't want to put it down!

When the spice hits in this book, it HITS!!! I’m hoping we get another book explaining where Trevor and Mia were at the end of this book and what happens to Joey! I also want more of Jade becoming an Assassin!

Sassy girl!!! Omg this is my first chelle book and I have no clue why. It was such an amazing story and my feelings were everywhere for both hunter and jade!!! This story just shows the true fate is real and when you find your person you just know no matter your age!!! I can't wait to read the next book in the series and go back and read every other book too!!!

Oh what did I just read? Wow. This story was unforgettable. I couldn’t’ put it down. Hunter and Jade’s story is one crazy ride. Jade has been through so much trauma. Hunter finds her and they are together. The plot was so well written, I was hooked on this book from chapter one. It has all my dark little heart desires. I absolutely love this series by Chelle Rose and can’t wait for book 4.
