I read this series from the beginning, Snow Fall, which was fast paced and New Moon the author grew as a writer. Her style continues to be fast paced and she's developing into a fantastic author. She continues the tale with Portal in the fine style of the previous two stories.
Tabitha continues her journey. This tale grips you with all the feelings you’d expect from a self exploring journey, then adds a few more layers.
I bought this on my kindle fire. Kindle fire will read it to me while I drive.
A new world with new adventures to get lost in and explore! Portal is a fast-paced story! A story that grabs you and holds you until the very last page! It's a tale that grips you with all the emotions that come with a story about finding yourself! A few unexpected twists and turns! Strong female characters Plenty of romance and action! Fantastic writing! Leaves you wanting more! Definitely can't wait for the next book!
This is a fantasy book, yes, but it’s heavily character-driven to the point where setting and plot are secondary at best. The characters are strong, complex, and well-drawn, but don’t expect wizard battles and sieges here; it’s about people being people and learning to be OK with that.
