A fine continuation of the story began in the previous volume. Nothing special, but not horrible either. Call it 2 and a half stars.

Easy storyline to follow, has want I think looks like Mecha g3, also Godzilla, mothra, gigan, hedorah, monster x and spacegodzilla (plus everyone already on monster Island)

Still not a fan of human characters, but a good cliffhanger leading into final arc of series...

When it comes to the art, the monsters thrive and the humans get the short end of the stick.

Review is for the three volumes by Duane Swierczynski

The writing is better than previous arcs, but half of the books are just big-lizard-smash, so even the best words only go so far.

Boxer's monster hunter team aims to capture Godzilla, but they have competition from a billionaire who has built his own Mechagodzilla. After a brief time in jail, the team resume their pursuit; attempt to guide Godzilla to a volcano with explosives due to their ineffective "headache" gun. Dr Pohl captures Godzilla which seems to trigger the arrival of the space monsters. I felt this one wasn't as well-paced and not much happens.
