David Harrower is a Scottish playwright, who, as of of 2005, lives in Glasgow. His first play, Knives in Hens, which premiered at Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre in 1995, was considered a critical and popular success.
Such an interesting play. It definitely begs the question why a relationship like this must be depicted on the stage, considering how revolting that is, however perhaps that exactly why it’s been written? Like, at what point should theatre draw a line, but also where else would something like this be discussed??
wow this is probably the best play ive read. im like dumbfounded and so so interested to see what they do with it in toronto this season. kinda obsessed.
