a smoking gun, totally inside baseball, and carefully noted with the sort of detail that is both analytical and anectdotal. Howard Suber is a star!

Fascinating look at how contracts are written for the writers, producers, directors, and talent in Hollywood.

My Unabridged rating: 5 stars [i.e. non-Abridged audiobook "other edition"]

I'd hoped this abridged version might suffice [work commute(s), dog walk, etc.] but this isn't a truncated edition insomuch advertisement for the complete, comprehensive, unabridged, hard copy counterpart (or digitized rendition).

Albeit, still likely craving even more litigious specs/legal briefs/law journals after completing that full, 600-page, manuscript.

This, along with Outrageous Conduct: Art, Ego, and the Twilight Zone Case or
Special Effects: Disaster at Twilight Zone: The Tragedy and the Trial , &
Frame-Up!: The Untold Story of Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle , absolutely deserves digital ingest/interpreting à la contemporary consideration.

Pair this book with Steven Bach's Final Cut and you have a stark picture of the film industry that while there can be glory, greed and power is really the final pitch for most everyone involved.

Well written, entertaining, informative, and at least twice as long as it needed to be.
