One fight ended it all… And now Tracey has a secret, and bittersweet memories that she keeps close to her heart. Maybe a brand new start in a brand new town would help erase the memories. It was worth a try. Building a new life… Is what Austin is planning when he takes the position at Oklahoma State University. He planned on forgetting the past not rekindling an old love with Tracey Walker. But maybe a person has to put an end to the past to move on to the future. He loved her Red River deep, but with their shattered past and present responsibilities it won’t be easy for either of them to learn to trust and love again, but miracles do happen. If you liked Carolyn Brown’s Broken Road To Trust, To Believe, To Commit, To Hope and To Dream, you'll love Red River Deep.
I wish these publishers would not fool us into buying a book we already read. This book was published about 20 years ago. As soon as I read the first of it, I remembered the story. So I paid for it twice. That is underhanded.
Every one of her books keeps me riveted until the end. I don't know how she keeps knocking them out, but I'm glad she does! It seems the next is even better than the last one I read! Carolyn is more than just a favorite author, she's also a Dear Friend!
Another great short story perfectly delivered by Mrs. Brown! I love all her books. They always are written from the heart with much love and deliver a good feeling when you are done reading!
I know I have not read all of Carolyn's books yet, but I have read enough of them to tell you this one is either her first or close to it. If you are a fan of Carolyn's you will notice the difference in her writing style almost immediately. She is great in her ability to describe everything so beautiful and in most cases she will leave the rest to you, especially sexual scenes. In this book she let's her hair down so to speak and it's absolutely terrific. This review is strictly for Carolyn's fans. Please read this book and see if you see the difference. GREAT BOOK!!!
Tracey and Austin were sweethearts in college, but their relationship fell apart. Many years later, they both end up working at the college where they first met. Despite Tracey’s determination to keep Austin at as far a distance away as possible, fate has other plans.
This is a rather predictable but sweet story. I enjoyed it. It was an easy read.
While I really enjoyed the story and the characters, the number of errors was distracting. The ages and the timeline especially caused me to get frustrated since they were glaringly obvious.
I always give Carolyn a good review. She writes with her heart.I have read several of her books. This one did not disappoint. The characters were right on & comfortable The plot was well thought out .The kids were great.
Oh wow this book and this family have my heart. I loved Jackson and Emily are the most adorable children. The love Austin and Trace have is beautiful. Thankyou Carolyn hugs xx
Carolyn Brown, did it again to me. A very good romance book where I put myself in the book again. Austin and Tracey were just ment for each other. And there kids were a riot. Of course what 5 year olds aren't?
Six years earlier they argued and separated. He married a woman he had gotten pregnant. She gave birth to their son. He had no idea he had a son. Fast forward to today and fate has reunited them.
Now that's love for someone to love so deep and even six years past still love that person. Need a good love store to read this is perfect. I could not put it down until I finish reading the book. On to the next you.
I was smiling from the very beginning of the story. Having the children play such an integral part of the storyline was excellent. I gave it five stars because I wanted it to go on a little longer.
I enjoyed this story so very much. It was a love and finding each other after a big mistake they made several years go. The children became brother and sister and their parents finally got it right.
