James bond might have been the super suave spy of the movies but Nick Fury is the tougher than nails spy in the MU. Very nice art and writing make these a great classic Marvel read. Recommended

Fascinating to read 'classic' issues like this and see how storytelling has changed in comics. Visually, it is definitely a product of its time. Good story overall, Fury gets the band back together and goes after Strucker. Towards the end of the issue new artist comes in and the visuals take on a Paul Gulacy feel. Perfect for espionage, spy comics! You definitely need the first volume before you jump into this one. You also need volume 3 too. I found that out the hard way! I don't have volume 3 and it continues the story. Good stuff, Maynard.

Was early 90s really this crappy times in comics, because I remember enjoying stuff at that time also.
Sure, it was different time and loads of water have passed but still.... did comics really talk and explain really this much? Was the art really this clumsy?
There were moments, but time has not treated this well.

This volume contains interesting stories with Nick Fury, which refer to another era. Nevertheless, the action is sufficient and satisfactory.
