Lost treasure if you can lay hands on a copy: Reprints of stories from the Washington Post's Style section in the early 1970s (the original heyday). Includes pieces from Henry Mitchell, Sally Quinn, Myra MacPherson, Michael Kernan, Tom Zito, Tom Shales and of course Henry Allen. I first came across it during college when I was a summer intern at the Post in 1989 and this era was already mostly bygone, but I didn't really read it until 15 years later when I found a copy on eBay.
