If you read this book, your mind will change and you will begin to command your morning. One of the best books I have read on prayer. I reread and pray the prayers often!

"Throughout the Bible God is calling His people to take command of their destinies by learning to command their mornings. Command means "to order with authority; to take charge of; to exercise direct authority over; to lead; to dominate by position; to guard; to overlook." Don't let your day get the best of you by not commanding the best from your day. Take command of your thoughts, words, and time so that you will be in a position to take command of your destiny. "Keep awake! Do not sleep like others. Watch and keep your minds awake to what is happening" (1 Thess. 5:6, NLV). (Cindy Trimm, Commanding Your Morning)
I found out about this book by reading Bill Winston's book, Revelation of Royalty: Rediscovering Your Royal Identity in Christ. He said that this book was a great inspiration to him as he was growing his ministry. He says that this book helped him to learn that he could use his words to put angels to work on his behalf and ministry. One thing the author says on this is "Your faith attracts the attention of heaven's angels to work on your behalf, while your fear draws the demons of hell to work against you. Your words become the magnet that draws either heaven or hell into your situation."
This book will teach you to take command of your thoughts, words, and time. The word "morning" does not necessarily mean the physical "morning" (although it can). I learned it means to start things off first with making decrees and declarations to bring your thoughts, words, and time into alignment with what the Word of God says. She says, "The time has come for believers to rise up and walk in the knowledge and authority God has provided and commanded through His Word-the Word He spoke into us and created us to speak forth. While forces around us threaten our peace and stability, nothing can prevail agains God's spoken Word."
At the end of the book there are quite a few decrees and declarations that you can say out loud and with faith; one of them I excerpt here:

I decree and declare that a new day is dawning for my ministry and job or
business, for my finances, for my relationships, and for my health.
I download success, prosperity, health, wealth, vision, direction, inge-
nuity, creativity, spirituality, holiness, righteousness, peace, and resourcefulness from Your Spirit into my day.
I have a fresh excitement.
I have a fresh mind.
I have a fresh zeal.
I have a fresh anointing that is uncontaminated and uncompromised.
By this anointing, every yoke is broken off my life and is destroyed; every
burden is lifted. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

A great friend recommended this book to me after a break-up and several other life "adventures" occurred in my life. I must have about 50 pages of this book dogeared so I can refer back to them. Many points mentioned by the author can be attributed to the law of attraction which is a simple process in theory but can be so difficult to live out in daily life!
I particularly like the information stating conscious of what is going on in our minds. Also, lining up our minds with our words. All in all, our thoughts and words signify the order of our lives. How true a concept! Finally, we need to be careful not to embrace the counsel of debilitating spirits such as fear, doubt, and unbelief. Cindy Trimm offers everyday reinforcements to command our morning through positive sayings and thoughts. Excellent book!

This is an easy read with incredible depth and profound insight. If you've ever wondered why life has or is the way it is then this is the book for you! Life doesn't just happen to us our thoughts, motives and intentions and ultimately what we speak affect not just our present but future. I've learned the power my thoughts have and how to harness them so that I can clearly and accurately speak out the life I want to live. This author is very passionate about maximizing potential and fulfilling destiny so if that is your desire then this is a must read!

This is the best book I've ever read about this topic. It profoundly, yet simply explains why what we say has so much importance. I really needed this message because I can be so flippant with words I speak even though I've known the Bible to say "Life & death lie in the power of the tongue". This also was only $2.99 on nook! The best $2.99 I've ever spent. I highly recommend this if you want to learn what the Bible says about the words you speak over your life & how they may be sabotaging you're efforts for a better life.

I loved this book. It truly speaks to the soul and opens up your mind to a different perspective in life. Perfect for where I am currently at in life. It gave me some answers I've been praying and asking for. I would differently read this every few years. Something that really stood out to my was that change begins with your thoughts and words you utter. I've been applying that to my everyday life now and I can say I am slowly but surely developing a different but better perspective of how I used to see my life and how I am seeing it now.

This book was not what I thought it would be. It brought a whole new meaning to "Commanding Your Morning." I got several good gems from this book. It reiterates, for me, how important your words and thoughts are. It made me prioritize using my words and more proactive with speaking out the things that I desire. I also love what the book had to say about order and going into prayer BEFORE things happen. Really great read. Short and in-depth. I loved it.

Absolutely A Must Read for Believers!!!
Powerful book! Cindy Trimm is a blessing, her teachings are always excellent & this one is no exception. I have been meaning to read this book for so long and had it sitting in my kindle for a while to be honest, but God works in this way with me & as all things happen in His Divine timing, this was my season to read this book. As this particular time I have been facing challenges, this book helped me re-focus who I am in Christ, strengthen my faith, keep my mind, thoughts & words I’m agreement & alignment with the word of God, declaring & decreeing by commanding my day!!! I have such a revitalized fresh new outlook. I will cherish every teaching for the rest of my life and share this book with others & pray they receive all that I have & more. All things are possible for him who BELIEVES!!!

🔵 Cindy Trimm opened up my eyes to see that you can really degree and declare anything you want. Nothing is too small to say when you are making declarations. I loved the fact she went deep and even wrote down declarations concerning hormonal and chemical balances in the body.
🟡 I wish Cindy Trimm shared more testimonies about how her declarations have transformed her life.

This book transcends time. It’s insightful. I pray the prayer in this book very often. It inspires me to continue in my assignment here on earth with no regrets or weariness. I share this book all the time with others I meet on the journey to give them another look, another perspective of God’s Word that gets them pass their challenges and discouragements. It’s exciting because I see renewal and revival in their eyes and their conversation. I did love this book. There was a bit of the prosperity gospel, and the name it and claim it approach to prayer, neither of which resonate with me. Having said that, I needed this book. I needed to hear that God wants good things for me. I needed to be encouraged to command my morning, and to know, not just hope, that I remain wrapped in God's embrace no matter the circumstance. This book caused a change in me, at a time I really needed it. What more could I ask?

Great for learning intercession
I enjoyed the how each chapter built upon the last and the purpose of prayer was explained. I enjoyed how the bible was the foundational truth the store used to teach how prayer can be most effective.
